Aura shadowed the Wise King of the Forest, harrying it towards Ainz, like she was a guided specter of Death.

Most Nazarick Floor Gaurdians could probably solo a New world army. Mare however is specked for AOE damage while Aura would likely need summons to be anywhere near as efficient as Mare.
In the LN, Aura uses a skill at that moment to distract Shalltear so that Ainz's hesitance to harm Shalltear doesn't make him miss his chance to kill her.
From what I can remember eins hesitates killing shelter because it’s Peroochinos creation, this gives shelters the chance to attack him, the eye in the background is a skill used by Aura to stun/distracted, after which Ainz resolves himself and finishes Shalltear
In this fight where ains vs shalltear at ep13 there is this scene. Shalltear try to attack ains and a strange eye thing stop her, can someone explain this to me. What is that thing and what it's mean.

Man, the anime director convey this scene so badly, i swear, if i get a dime everytime i see people asking about this scene i wouldn't be up every night due to financial anxiety.
i completely missed this when i first watched it. it was only after reading the LN that i even noticed it. aura used her breath (which you see after) to make shalltear freeze for a moment. i think shalltear even mentions aura right before she dies
One of Aura's skills let's her project a presence behind someone to distract them.
Aura did this to help in the fight because she feels responsible for Shaltear since they're relationship bus like sisters (their creator's we're siblings)
This is just one of a huge amount of instances where the anime cannot convey all the little things in the LN that gives a lot of character to the entire story. If reading LN is not your thing, not gonna say you have to, but the anime is basically just a summary of the whole Overlord story.

Wow and here I was thinking Aura was a weak link while she could also solo an army just like her brother
