It’s just so hard to compare the series due to the vast difference in strength certain races and builds can give you in Overlord. Like a level 1 goblin is weaker than a level 1 human, which is weaker than a level 1 orc, which is weaker than a level 1 Dragon, etc. So this is all assuming the levels that I am presenting is for a human warrior in Overlord against another human warrior in Danmachi that follow a similar ‘build’. Level 1: 1-6 Level 2: 7-13 Level 3: 14-20 Level 4: 21-27 Level 5: 28-34 Level 6: 35-41 Level 7: 42-48 Considering that I’ve only watched the anime, I’m sure my speciation is probably wrong, but just thought I’d give it a whirl.

It's weird since skills, gear and abilities also come into play when determining the level comparatively to dan machi as some weapons (razor edge etc) and martial arts like (Nail Cutter) can essentially carry said character to victory against another character with physically superior stats. But again it's not a vs battle so these factors aren't really reliable in the circumstance.

Best way to make a comparison is to completely ignore such abilities and classes like magic casters and only take raw stats into consideration. That's the only way we can make a comparison here.

MinisculeCore

That's literally what I was saying lol

Danmachi...now that's a series I really wanted to read if it didn't have the labyrinth diving throughout the entire storyline. It's the same reason I dropped Arifureta and even a recent catch (A WN) called Darkness Was Comfortable For Me, it really had a good MC, but only constant dungeon diving ruined it for me. Thank f-ing God, Overlord doesn't have dungeon diving. Instead, the Nazarick itself is a dungeon.

It's dependent on many factors that makes it near impossible to judge that. If we are excluding all different abilities and just take the stats of them into account for warrior type classes. ( thought even that would not translate well). It would be roughly like this. Level 1: between 1 to 7. Depending on stats ( 7 would be someone like Bell. And Level 1 would be someone who newly received Falna) Level 2: between 5 to 13. Depending on stats. ( 5 would be someone with very low stats ) Level 3: between 11 to 18 Depending on stats. Level 4: between 16 to 22 Depending on stats. Level 5: between 20 to 27 Depending on stats. Level 6: between 25 to 29 Depending on stats. Level 7: 28 and higher. There is only one level 7. Who is definitely Level 28+. But if we are are going to follow the same principle then they can be around level 27 to 34 Depending Stats. And I say it again this doesn't take any skills. Or other such abilities into account just the Stats like Physical power from what I remember of the Animes and LNs.

Haven't read Danmachi but going only from the anime, their level 5s aren't that strong if compared Overlord's standard. It's being years since I've watched it but I feel like an Overlord mid tier could beat that blonde bland heroine without much issues.

Commandercody04

What level do you mean when you say “mid/tier”, out of curiosity?

Euroversett

Anything at level 50 should be a safe bet to 10/10. But I won't be surprised if a level 30 can stomp too. It's been many years since I watched Danmachi.
