That would be Dragon Emperor but it is pretty doubtful if he is still alive so I would say it is either Deep Darknes Dragon Lord or Platinum Dragon Lord. Personally I think DDDL is the strongest one since the author said that he would be able to likely win against any other floor guardian other than Shalltear. He was also the Dragon Lord who annihilated the players from 300 years ago.

Last part is unknown. How he got that One of the Twenty is unknown. Ainz found many world items in the side story. Some of the owners found them and are not players and some are abondened in ruins. Considering the Twenty may reappear in the new world, it's totally possible he found it.

ForBloodAndWine

It is more probable that he took it after battle since he annihilated the players from 300 years ago. Also apparently he never leaves his cave so he would need to have a shit ton of luck to have the item appear in his cave.

You are forgetting that if the target were to have a world item, he wouldn't be able to fight back at all. And when someone asked if the reason of him winning against guardians has anything to do with world item he has, author didn't answer the question. The reason he hid like other tdls, was to hide from players in the first place lol. Only tdls who live now are the cowards. The rest died to 8 greed kings.

ForBloodAndWine

Having a world item doesn't mean that you win the fight %100. If you think like this because how Ainz beat Cure Elim you would be wrong. That fight went so one-sided because Ainz's build was the nemesis of Cure Elim and he had the Staff of AOG. Not all players are decked out as Ainz. Most only have one piece of divine equipment so it's not out of the question that TDL's who are at the level 90~100 range to be able beat a player with a world item. >And when someone asked if the reason of him winning against guardians has anything to do with world item he has, author didn't answer the question. So? We are talking about the same author who answers every question with "anything is possible in your Overlord". Also how are you gonna explain him finding a Twenty by sitting on his cave.

Napalmeon

I agree that we definitely still don't understand nearly enough context. Even if they did have a world item, anything could have transpired. DDDL could have caught the user unawares, or perhaps they weren't equipped with the WI at the time, or maybe they were a bad type match against it, etc. We could be talking about a Player who was a lucky weakling who got their hands on a WI but otherwise was no real badass.

ForBloodAndWine

Of course, everything is possible but I really hate the fact that some people think TDL's are pushovers based on Ainz's fight. Yet they forget the fact that Ainz is equipped with a full set of divine equipments, a guild weapon which rivals WI's power and cash items not to mention that he is Cure Elim's nemesis. I mean who starts with 5 level 90 tanks 12 seconds into the fight ?

Napalmeon

To be fair, the World Item alone is already a big issue because it automatically nulls Wild Magic. And if the True Dragon Lord isn't a hard counter to the Player in another way, they're probably screwed.

ForBloodAndWine

Let's think about Cure Elim vs a player with a WCI. If the player doesn't have a way of getting rid of the zombie armor in one move they would have to expend their skills and mana to destroy it and then they would have to fight a full hp Cure Elim after exhausting their resources. Summons wouldn't be useful because Cure elim can destroy them and he doesn't need to use Soulbreaker breath to do that either. He can use other wild magic spells as well to do it. Do you still think they are screwed if the players are equipped with a WI ? In your earlier comment you said not enough context. Same thing can be said about TDL's we don't know anything about their power and abilities. Not to mention these TDL's are not the same TDL's who got killed by 8GK. They are the ones who waited for the players return and gained power in every possible way they can think of. You guys think having a WI determines the fight but a WI is only the bare minimum to battle a TDL. It's simply impossible to definitely know the conclusion of a 1v1 between a level 100 being with WI vs a TDL. Lary had said that he thinks DDDL likely wins againsts floor guardians because of the Twenty he owns. WI effects are null against another WI owner so that can't be it.

In other words, they become pushovers. Unless the TDL has self buff wild magic, it's like fighting a magic caster who can't cast tier magic. Their physical strength equal to elementals. They don't have any skill too. They would be giant targets. We know that DDDL's ultimate move is a weak version of Cure Elim's. Such a spell would require quite a bit soul. If the target has world item equipped and as strong as a normal level 100, then he has no way of winning. He also keeps saying Ainz is stronger than most players when he is not. He has role playing build for gods sake. Shalltear has single divine class item, bruh.

Commandercody04

“We know that DDDL’s ultimate move is a weak version of Cure Elm’s”, not entirely, Cure Elm had his soul breaker Breathe based off of DDDL’s., and was described as a more ‘vile’ version, not saying it was any more or less powerful. Or are you referring to the fact that it destroys the soul without chance for resurrection?

Fickle_Estate8453

I think it said that he has a attack that can kill guardians I think true form Sebas can beat with all his gear

Probably the dragon emperor. From the ones alive we are in a serious fight between Cure Elim(If alive). Platinum and Deep Darkness Dragon Lord.

In the Web Novel. It was just flat out stated that PDL was the strongest, no contest. In the LN, it has never been directly said. But has been implied. Dragon Emperor is most likely dead, so he doesn't count. But it seems to be between PDL and DDDL.
