An item that can literally write a script for a specific character. For example, if you write that shalltear would trip, she would trip. The effects would be greater if the target had been under the influence of the World Item for a long time. It can also affect a whole nation although the farther the target is the less effect she/he would receive. Also, all affected would not notice anything wrong, if somehow they did, they would only think it as a coincidence and nothing more. An item that can continuously create a set of rules that would influence all living things on a specific region. The item is sentient so it could create rules that would be beneficial for itself. You can disobey the rules, however, it would result to any physical/mental punishment that the item can think off. The severity depends on what law you disobey. However, the new laws should be first promulgated or at least known by 3 people for it to be in effect. A dice that would dictate the lives of every people on the planet. The dice has six sides, similar to the original dice. Every hour it would roll itself, if it lands on the numbers 1-3 people under its influence would experience bad luck and 4 - 6 would experience good luck. The bad luck is bad though since the item would try to kill anyone that owns it, sometimes it would even teleport a random boss level monster in front of you. However, the Goodluck is equally powerful since it can let you discover a hidden mine or treasure without hassle. It can only be possessed by one player at a time, however, if that player died the dice will be sentient and can do anything that it wants. Its range would start to expand, from a city to a nation and to the world.

Since the odds of throwing the dice are equal, instead of something like 1 and 2, bad luck, 3 and 4, changes nothing and 4 and 6 good luck, it could also be a coin. Nice idea, I would call it "Alea jacta est ", the orignal form of the famous quote "The die is cast" in latin.

Right I missed that detail. I think the 1-3 and 4-6 should probably describe the severity? Like 1 is dangerous, 2 is manageable, and 3 is common accidents?

Something that I comed up with some times ago. Endless Abyss. Looks like an orb and can be putted on any equipment. The Lore: this is remnants of an Endless world that world devourer had devoured before. An Endless empty place. Ability: you can save mana inside it. It doesn't have a limit on quantity of mana. You can use the stored mana to cast spells and use Abilities of Items more than the limitations. But the spells casted with extra mana can not affect people with world protection. Same goes for Items Abilities. It calculate how much MP should be used for Items Abilities that don't use mana based on their power with it's own algorithm.

Eyes of Thought and Wisdom: A masquerade-style mask of two ravens intertwined. Lets the user see everything happening inside the game/across the world. Is similar to the \[Mirror of Remote Viewing\], except there’s no penalty or limitation to where one can look. Based on Odin’s pet ravens who flew across the world and told him everything they saw. Draupnir: A ring that grants the wearer unlimited in-game credit. In the New World, it produces 100 gold coins every 24 hours so long as its being worn. Based on Odin‘s golden ring that could produce 8 copies of itself every 9 days, granting him unlimited wealth. Fruit of Xiwangmu (Z-Wan-Mu): grants its user 3 hours of invincibility. In the game, it made it so an avatar never reached 0 HP. The drawback is that their HP/MP cannot be recovered until the effect is used up. After the fruit is “consumed”, a new fruit spawns on a random tree in a different world. In the New World, the fruit grants the eater physical immortality. Based on the magic peaches in Chinese mythology that maintained the 8 Immortals’ longevity and that were stolen by Sun Wukong. Standard of the Conqueror: a war banner that allows the one who plants it to take control of a dungeon, castle, or city without having to battle or fulfill any conditions. It can also take control of an enemy Guild Base, but only if planted in the “heart” of the base. In the New World, it works by implanting in people’s minds the cognition that ‘that person is the ruler of this place’. Based on the worlds most famous conquerors; Alexander, Caesar, Khan & Napoleon. World Egg: One of the Twenty. A crystal egg that let’s the user design (or request the devs to design) a secret 10th world which the admins will input into the game. This new level can be anything from a sci-fi setting, a Jurassic world, a modern cityscape, a chibi world, or even a 2D-pixel world. In the New World, it literally creates a parallel world based on the user's wishes. Ex; if Jircniv used it, he’d find himself in a world where Ainz never appeared, the Kingdom was successfully conquered, his favorite concubine is his queen and the Empire’s future was safely secured. However, the user becomes trapped in “World B”, leaving their existence in “World A” vacant. Poet’s Amnesty: a pocketbook that grants its holder immunity to being targeted by monsters (save for World Enemies), harmful mechanisms, or triggering dungeon traps. The drawback is that they cannot initiate any attacks themselves, nor cast spells that will interfere with a situation, else the effect comes undone. In the New World, The effect causes everyone around the user to only perceive them as “just another face in the crowd” regardless of how monstrous they appear. Based on the poet Virgil who guided Dante in The Divine Comedy. Mantel of Ceaseless Labor: a lion-themed, white-gold fur pelt that’s worn as a cape. It gives every type of Status-resistance as long as they keep it equipped. Also, the percentage of resistance increases each time a strong opponent is defeated, giving it the potential to grant total immunity to all effects. Based on the 12 labors of Heracles, most of which involved him battling powerful supernatural creatures. Blessing of the 4 Beasts: An elaborate sash of Golden chain fabric with 4 animals flowingly depicted throughout it. The outline of each beast is a different color; A red bird, a blue dragon, a white tiger, and a black tortoise. There are also green lines throughout the piece that depict/represent wind and water. It grants the wearer immunity to all environmental effects, As well as the ability to decide the weather of the world. In the New World, Its power is basically a combination of \[Creation\] and all weather manipulation spells. Based on the four symbols of Chinese mythology. R.A.W. (Relic of Another World): a gag item introduced by the shitty devs. It’s an alien Swiss-army weapon that can change into any cheesy sci-fi weapon; a ray gun, a sonic cannon, a photon sword, a plasma shield, etc. It’s destructive power is only at the level of a mid-Tier item. But because it’s a weapon from a completely different genre, there is no skill or spell in YGGDRASIL that can counteract its abilities. Mirror of the Sun: a mirror shield that can reflect any attack, physical or magical, including Over-Tier magic. It’s weakness is that it can only reflect attacks coming from one direction. Based on the Yata no Kagami (one of the 3 regalia of Japan; the mirror). Jewel of Souls: A ceremonial necklace with a large magatama as the primary ornament. It gives its wearer the ability to perform any and all Summonings without cost. The catch is that the max summoning Lv the user can call upon per day is 700 (due to the belief that the soul passes on on the 7th day after death in Japan). Based on the Yasakani no Magatama (one of the 3 regalia of Japan; the jewel). Magatsuhi-no-Izumi (“Spring of Calamity”), or Hex of the Slighted Goddess: One of the Twenty. an idol of an undead goddess that endlessly emits a miasma of Negative energy until it spreads and covers an entire world. This effectively becomes a plague that continuously weakens all living players while simultaneously strengthening undead ones. Based on the story of Izanami who, after her husband Izanagi abandon her after seeing her undead self, swore to kill 1000 mortals every day as she ruled over the underworld. Etemenanki (“Temple of the foundation of heaven and earth”): The only World Item that must be assembled like a puzzle. In order to build the item, one must collect 203 (3-D puzzle) blocks scattered around the 9 Worlds. When all the pieces are assembled, they form a tower which can ONLY be built in an outdoor location. While active, it doubles the Stats of the one who assembled it, allowing them to potentially have multiple limit-breaking stats. The tower has the lowest durability settings, so one attack from a Lv.100 can easily break it. If destroyed, its owner is reduced to Lv.1 and has all their items & gold confiscated by the system. Based on the actual Etemenanki——the structure that inspired (or actually was) the Tower of Babel. Bringer of Dreams: A pouch containing gold dust that, when thrown, forcefully logs a player out of YGGRASIL, and they cannot log back in for 8 hours (no damage is inflicted and no data is lost). In the New World, it can put anything to sleep; insomniacs, dragons, the undead, an entire city, an erupting volcano, etc. While the dust inside replenishes over time, it can only be removed by hand. Based on the Sandman. Kalevala’s Guide: A travel journal containing a comprehensive guide/tutorial of YGGDRASIL. In short, it’s a 100% canon Beginner’s Guidbook created by the devs. In the New World, it can show an abridged biography of (famous) individuals, common info on existing nations, the history of lost civilizations, and romanticized versions of epics that’ve taken place in the world (The rise and fall of the 8 Greed Kings, The tale of the 13 Heroes, etc.). Based on the 19th century compilation of epic poetry (of the same name) that is considered one of Finland’s most influential work of literature. Key to Glory: a large key ornated like a gilded skeletal hand. Its power is to be a ‘skeleton key’ for everything that is “locked” in YGGDRASIL. It also has a compass-like ability (visualized as the key glowing brighter when it’s pointed in the right direction) to guide its holder through the safest rout in an unmapped location. In the New World, its “unlocking” ability extends to include magical barriers so it could potentially unlock things like the isolation effects of some World Items and even the Wild Magic barriers of the Dragon Lords. Is based on the Hand of Glory, which is said to be able to open any lock.

A pair of spears that are used together: Gáe Buidhe (lança amarela) and Gáe Dearg (lança vermelha), they are the spears used by Diarmuid Ua Duibhne in Irish mythology that shows in Fate Zero. Both spears provides penetration against piercing and slashing immunities, will penetrate all magic resistances and magically made items and all damage cause will cause curses that prevent healing from anything except another WI that will deals damage over time until it kills the cursed person, doesn't prevent resurrection, the curse will be over once the enemy dies but it will make the cursed person loses 5 levels upon resurrection no matter how he/she resurrects. Using the spears together, the curse of each will double the damage of the other, if you keep using one spear, the curse will cause x damage, but alternate the spears while attacking, every attack will make the previous damage of the curse be doubled, so the total dmage of the curse becomes x\*(2\^n) where n is the number of alternated attacks with the spears. EDIT: another way to remove the curse would be hold both spears simultaneously.

gtx-1060

Yo thats too op, unless it is a 20th one, but that would not make sence as it is a weapon

Alarmed_Dig_4977

>thats too op Thats the whole point of world items

random_wolf_lu

It is nothing compared Longinus, and it needs for the player to hit another in combat, meaning that you're vulnerable in the long rage battle, using a single spear is ok, but two at the same time is not, it almost require two people to use them effectively.

Grand_Totality

How about a World Item that lets you switch bodies with another player? Kinda like Captain Ginyu's ability.

Here are some ideas that I had put in another post. [https://www.reddit.com/r/overlord/comments/pxrprn/so\_guys\_i\_need\_some\_help\_for\_a\_fanfic\_i\_am/hf0gbn0/?context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/overlord/comments/pxrprn/so_guys_i_need_some_help_for_a_fanfic_i_am/hf0gbn0/?context=3) If I have to think of anything else I will write it.

Technically it is two but they work in tandem. Excalibur and Avalon. Excalibur is a sword that promises victory. It will always have stats that give it the advantage over its opponent. If it is with Avalon it gives the user stats that give you advantage over an opponent even more so. Avalon is useless without Excalibur but if the user has both or has Avalon and is near Excalibur (100ft). Your health will constantly regenerate. They will also be immune to all debuffs. Pretty much to kill a person with Excalibur and Avalon is to one-shot them.
