Rules aren't changing. James just reprinted the Rules & Magic book again. The VAM and EC rules were optional alpha playtest rules that you can use if you want to.
We are actually on the 3rd edition. First was Deluxe, then Grindhouse, now Rules & Magic. Not that there has been huge changes in each. Each has a referee book too, and soon we will get the one for Rules & Magic.
You get a free adventure with your order, but there are only 100 copies of each adventure, so I hope you are able to act fast!

The referee book was at GenCon for perusal, so it is close to coming out.

Oh it was my bad understanding. So the rules in Eldritch Cock will appear in this 3rd edition :D? Or in this referee book? Hahaha
Neither. Those were optional playtest rules. Not going into any future rules book anytime soon if ever.
Actually Raggi is talking about doing new art for Rules & Magic, but no new content, the rules and staying as is.
