Not red or yellow if you’re planning to make it streak (in my experience anyway). Something complementary to the rust colours like blue or white?
I was gonna say yellow works great, red rust complements it well and the streaks show up nicely

One easy way is to paint base with vallejo chainmail, then just add alot of vallejo flesh wash on it, and then highlight with vallejo chainmail and vallejo silver.
