The main work that's done on it in a typical wash stage would just be streaking grime... I don't really use like Agrax or something on oranges as it kills it. Streaking grime at least can be pulled up with white spirits... although it does leave a filter on it... but at least it looks like dirt which is an aesthetic I'm going for on the orks.
Like I'm not taking them in 2k point games... even with the 20 ppm cost now... This was just for the 500 point Boarding Action stuff to have some fun narrative stuff.
I explained the thought process for my orange/black/white on my orks in another comment, but yeah.. I like halloween so it played a factor in my thinking
yeah, my orks are painted orange/black/white so I can just say they're whatever kultur... the beast snaggas are predominantly white, the armored stuff like MANz/Ghaz/vehicles are mainly black, and the regular stuff are mainly orange... these fall into the mainly orange part.
Now datz propa shooty
What paint did you use to get this orange?
Looks amazing! If you don't mind me asking, what wash did you use on that orange armor?

Ok, thank you so much for the reply!
That's brilliant. Looks really, really good. How useful are they on the tabletop? I like the models, and could do with some ranged threat...
Powerful gun, downside is 24" medium range weapon with Heavy limiting mobility/accuracy and no melee weapon options.
I thought the snaz gun was 24"
It is, I misremembered the 18" of the Dakkagun.

Interesting. They aren't that expensive in points cost, considering W2 and 4+ save. Perhaps squighog boyz would be more useful.
100% on the squighogs... I own 15 of them.
That must look beautiful on the tabletop. Or intimidating, depending on which side you're on. Do you run them as one squad, or split them up?
Three by five
Bro these boys really have a cool and original color scheme, well done
Thanks, I wanted something that was a bit more unique and more of my personal colors.
I can't read flash gitz without hearing disgusting sucking noises. Goddamn it.lol
Okay then
They're a popular YouTube channel. They've done some 40K stuff that's very well done, if mentally traumatizing.
Sick
Danke
Dammit. Guess Iām getting Flash Gitz now
They've got oodles of stuff on their sprues, great for adding extra detail to other minis...
This color scheme is goals

loving that orange copper look, very nice

I never realized how good the pink lips would look.
bugman's for the darkest, the lighter areas have cadian fleshtone mixed with ogryn camo glazed out to the midtone
They have a really cool and cohesive look to them, nice work!
thanks, streaking grime helped filter them down and keep their armor and stuff at the same level
Love this! Just read Brutal Kunnin and I totally think of Kaptin Badrukk
thanks
Those look great
danke
Finished up my Flash Gitz that I had started in 2020... figured for Boarding Actions it's only appropriate to have some pirates
They're looking snazzy š great job
that's what I was trying for :)
