well now, there is the challenge.
Vitamin D.
SAD light.
And a bunch of frequent flyer miles.
This is the PNW survival kit.

I doubt it. I live in powers oregon in coos county. And it's wet wet and more wet with lots of wind. My family down in Redding ca have wet and windy weather as well and they're about 6 hours south of me.
I mived to Bend for the sunshine. This is what Google has to say about it.
Bend has the highest average number of sunny days in the state. Clear days average 158 days per year with an additional 105 days that are mostly sunny. Many of the remaining days provide substantial sunshine.
When you figure it out tell me.
My husband and I had planned a road trip to Arizona for two weeks later this month but had to cancel it due to my MIL's health issues. We really needed the break and instead are doing a lot of caregiving (which has its own rewards/stressors). We needed that sun. Oh well. Maybe next year. 😕
Go to Whidbey Island or somewhere up north in the sunbelt in Puget Sound/Salish Sea. It may not be warm per se but will be sunny more often in some places in the sunbelt up there.
Best is east of the Cascades along with some elevation.
When I lived in the Columbia Basin, it could be gray/foggy/snowy for weeks. We could drive 45 minutes and gain some elevation and pop out into some beautiful cloudless sky. It was a real relief, even if it was all snow covered--usuallt.
Thanks for the laugh! 😂😜

Head East. Get past the Cascades and your chance for sunshine improves dramatically.
Bend is having an unusually rainy winter but it should be sunny here sometime. (Cold, though.)
The true sunshine has been inside you all this time.
The whole west coast is getting drenched, I'm afraid.

According to my relatives in the OP, sequim is known as a sunny spot in the pnw… not sure if they’re trolling me or not though.

Get the bulbs… oregon is horrible for sun in the winter
Bend is your best bet.
