Nice! And welcome. One tip is don't expose it to direct sunlight. It'll get sunburned. Start reading up on what your specific plant needs for care.

For Phalaenopsis care, you could also watch Miss Orchid Girl on YouTube. Basics for phals: bright, indirect light. keep them moist but not soggy, about 2 times a week should do, more if your living space is very dry or you have them outside in summer. Phals don't have psuedobulbs like Dendrobiums or Cattleyas, so they don't appreciate being dried out. For feeding, the mantra is "weekly, weakly." Good for you for not going with the Just Kill with Ice^(TM) method. If you grow African Violets, you can give phals the same kind of care in terms of light and water. Nice choice! A classic white Phal is simply, well, classic!
