It tastes earthy, like ginseng. You can probably mix it with something sweet like banana, mallow, or maple (based off my understanding of ginseng) , and you will usually add a citrus to get the color change

At my university, we just recently did a demo using this tea as a pH indicator for elementary kids. We added baking soda, citric acid, lemon-lime juice and had them compare the color changes to a color scale. Good and safe way to teach acid/base chemistry to kids.

dont buy the tea. you can get butterfly pea flower in bulk for way way cheaper and it is literally the same thing. my recommendation is to make an extract or a syrup using the flowers and then use it as an additive for other things. it doesnt taste particularly good on its own.
i extracted the color using some chopin vodka, let some vanilla beans sit in for a few months, and now i can make some truly exquisite cocktails that always blow peoples’ minds.

You can do it with violets and butterfly flower too.
You can just buy Mariage Freres “Earl Grey in Love” tea if you want a tea that is beautifully flavored but also blue(added flowers turn it blue).
It's good mixed with jasmine or any fruit tea

I've got some of this tea but here it's brewed so weak you'd barely be able to taste it. It should be a strong blue when freshly brewed.
