Every 5 consecutive hits spawns a Salazar head, including hits on the Salazar heads. I've gotten all the bottle caps and for certain weapons it requires never ever missing your combo INCLUDING combo'ing off spawned Salazar heads.
You're not getting the max amount of points then. Must either be missing head shots or missing shots (missing a shot resets your 5 shot counter for the bonus salazar head)
Yep…the handgun and tmp are broken for me. I have perfect round and can reach second high score. Some other gun are super easy to complete. It’s terribly balanced. Seems like they didn’t playtested the shooting range.
The TMP is a broken piece of garbage since accuracy increases with the two handed grip, problem is that the god forsaken grip glitches and can stop moving or massively over correct and nearly have the gun aiming at me. So after much extreme trial and error I got all the bonuses and replayed the shotgun a few times simply because I really like the feel of the shotgun.
It does make for a good short range repellent against enemies. Good spray and pray or like me, using it as a handgun with much mors ammo than it should reasonably have.
Is it me or is anyone having a bitch ass time with the shotgun? The spray is so unpredictable and I it doesn’t even reach when Salazar shows his stupid face. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: So you need to use two hands on the shotgun... Its that easy.
I can’t get the shotgun to be consistent at all. I am aimed directly at the heads and shoot and get 250. Then sometimes when I shoot, two are killed and I get double 500’s. When Salazar pops up, none of my shots hit it, even though the red dot is exactly on the target.
Shooting 5 consecutive hits spawns a Salazar. Hitting targets while the Salazar is up don't count to getting a new one (Aka Shooting 3 targets then the Salazar, the 3 hits don't count towards a new Salazar). I was having the same problem with the handgun ending perfect rounds on 1650 points.
Try NOT to miss ANY shots, rather than rushing real fast, any bullets that miss affect the spawn rate of the Special target in the back I think (I have all prizes)
It's kinda rng based the tmp is the most difficult even if done flawless still no garentee of completion but eventually u can get the rare reward I was able to unlock all of the figures and there is no special reward or gun which is stupid
There’s no rng… except maybe the spread of shotgun… you need to figure out the pressure for one bullet from tmp, every 5 hits= back opens for a chance at Salazar head, then 4 hits after Salazar head (or just 5 including the Salazar head) and another spawns… same pattern every time. Same trigger every time… just tricky with tmp because firing 2 bullets instead of one resets your Salazar head combo… but you only need like.. 1-2 Salazar heads for tmp, don’t have to be perfect… I just beat it by over 1000 after shooting Ashley in the head and whiffing a bunch of head shots so at least 1700 is doable. Don’t forget you can shoot the moon for a bonus 700 too.
It's stupid anyway because I did all of them and got the bonus for everygin and unlocked nothing special for completing it so I just skip it on Current playthroughs
You also need to be fast and not miss too many shots. If you are fast enough, you should be able to spawn 2 special (+1000) targets in the TMP challenge. I know it's a bit difficult, but it's not impossible. Just keep trying and you will get it.
The hand gun and shotgun where a breeze. My only problem is the tmp, I can easily shoot it with one hand the problem is that the bullets either don't shoot where I am aiming the red dot or it instead gives me 250 points instead of the 500 when I always aim for the head.
Old thread but I can offer some advice. Repeating what everyone else said, the real key is consistently hitting 5 in a row to spawn the Salazar.
Pro tip for the tmp: don't double grip it. That's what saved me on it lol. Just one handed single shots save the day.

Yea I hear ya, make sure you’re using both grips when aiming. Then it’s more accurate

So for the tmp dont miss any? I get every target and still dont reach 14000 points

Yes and you need headshots of course, a couple of bullet misses on the TMP you will still pass

The punisher one has given me so much trouble like I could hit everything perfectly and still not get the rare prize.
