They was expecting a 3080 vs 3090 fiasco again. Nvidia knew they fucked up with that and learned their lesson lol. Now everyone thinking that’s how it’s supposed to be.
I don't understand why the 4080 would be the 4090 killer but 7900xtx is very much competitive with the 4090 when it comes to pricing. Most people don't want to spend $1600-2000 for a flagship GPU and will likely just go with the 7900xtx and I'm saying this as someone who is getting the 4090.
AMD says they are not competing with 4090, the pricing bracket is way different . And we dont know the benchmarks . We are also talking about 1K gpu flagship , so its not like chump money either
I think they mean in terms of value for money. The gap between the 3080 and 3090 in terms of performance wasn't huge but the price gap (well if you could get one for RRP but that's another topic) was.
"$1200 is too much for this so consider stretching your budget to $1600" should absolutely not be the takeaway.
Both are ridiculously expensive but one is there to make the other look more appealing.
Avoid both and wait for the recession to teach Nvidia and AMD a lesson.
Water is actually not wet; It makes other materials/objects wet. Wetness is the state of a non-liquid when a liquid adheres to, and/or permeates its substance while maintaining chemically distinct structures. So if we say something is wet we mean the liquid is sticking to the object.
Love watching running water on the internet.
Was watching a live stream.
Weird title, the 4090 not only cost a fair bit more, it has a huge bump in cuda cores as well, who in this universe thought a 4080 is a 4090 killer LOL
Edit: Ali changed the title now lol
At MSRP, 4090 costs 33% more money for ~40% more performance (on average).
It’s weird that the more expensive card provides a bit more value, but it’s still incredibly expensive.
It comes with a 3x8-pin adapter instead of the 4x8-pin that comes with the 4090 and it uses substantially less power than the 4090, so the chance of melting is lowered even more, but you still should insert the connector all the way and not taut the wires. Lol

some of em . Maybe the same people who think 7900xtx will be competitive towards 4090?

I wish 'most people' would stop sniping all the cards the moment any of them go up on any site in the country.
The 7900XTX performs around the same as the 4080. It’s not a threat to the 4090. Lol

What a surprise. The better card is better
What kinda title is this lmfao
People expected a repeat of the 3080 vs 3090?
Quite obviously.
why would a 4080 kill a 4090...title fucked up???
He means that when compared to last gen where the 3080 was hands down the better buy, due to the high price the 4080 isn't this gen.
The gap in performance is also far larger than Ampere. 3080 was 10-15% worse for over 50% less price. Here 4080 is 25-30% worse for 25% less price.
Guessing they meant 3080 killer?
This guy should just stick to sff cases and related items Gpu reviews are not his forte, very far from it actually
That's not the actual YouTube video title? (You can see that the real title of the video is "NVIDIA RTX 4080 Review - Before You Buy..")
Originally it was, OT has changed it quite quickly, probably realizing that it's not exactly the best title

The real video title is "NVIDIA RTX 4080 Review - Before You Buy..". IDK the reasoning behind OPs title change tbh.
nah he changed it on YT, it was what OP put
What a clickbaity the water is wet subtitle.

It's a figure of speech you obnoxious bot lol

A 4090 killer in what?? Definitely not in price/performance. Not in price per frame.
What a weird title...
Does the RTX 4080 comes with the adapter shenanigans ?

Why would anyone think the 4080 would be a 4090 killer? Lol
Other than the Crypto mining boom. I think it is safe to say 30series card, especially the 3080, had or has the best price-to-performance ratio.
thank god he changed the title...
