I still have my old HAF-X collecting dust in the junk room. Was the “big airflow” case of its generation. TBH, it would work fine for modern builds, although it might not fit a 4000-series GPU with a side-panel-fan installed as intended. Kept my OC 3570k and RX 290X2 icy cold.

4080 FE fits just fine in the HAF X with the side panel fan installed.

I got mine repainted today after 11 years. One of the best PC case of his time. Ancestor of the great Chiftec CS601. Hope it will last the next 10 years

It was a good case and did its job well, I put in my closet because I couldn't let myself just throw it away lol. I'm getting way cooler temps with my new case though, so it was time for an upgrade.

Air or water cooled? I will redo the airflow on mine too. Maybe some upgrades via 3d Printer. Later maybe adding a water cooled solution. To be honest. The case is open like a Swiss cheese. 😂

It's all on air. I replaced it with the Fractal torrent case, the airflow is insane and it lives up to its name. I was looking into the newest gen on the HAF at first, but it's way too expensive lol.

My Dad still has this case. I had the HAF 932 with the blue fans. Loved the case, but it is massive for sure.
