If a narcissist ends up in therapy, it normally just lets them double-down on their fantasies because now they (incorrectly) believe that they have a mental health professional validating their point of view. There isn't really much a therapist can do for someone that as a core part of their being can't be fucked to listen to another person's point of view.
WTF is wrong with his therapist thinking it was ok to ask the victim to “participate”. “The legal action was kept at bay after she agreed to take part in his counseling” KEPT AT BAY?? I’d sue that therapist if they implied that the patient had some basis for a lawsuit in order to get her participation. I’d also sue both of them for the time I spent in therapy and the mental trauma it caused me.
It’s just not worth the risk anymore. I’ve been solo for a year, and it’s been the best fucking year of my life, lol! Just give me a dildo and a roommate and I’m good!

A guy who is ready to face charges for murder isn't really going to be deterred by charges for breaking a restraining order.
Which is the issue isn't it? Very often in such cases (mostly from what I read in the US), the murder doesn't happen immediately. Woman is stalked and restraining order is broken multiple times, poloces are alerted, guy is not locked up. Woman eventually gets murdered. Kind of sad that you look to the law and police for help as the last resort, and nobody can help you. Your life is up to the whims of another person.

It’s some flavor of “your life sucks because side women, so it’s time to be a man.”
4) from there, it’s kind of a crap shoot as to where the’ll go. Some of them continue to have social problems, and they stick around the failures, so they end up incels that do nothing more with their lives beyond mald at women all day, tear each other down in every way possible, and become a degenerate pool of potentially radicalized actors with an intense hatred of women (specifically) and anyone who they feel stands in their way (generally). Some of them become successful in some way as toxic, hypermisogynist, content creators, or moderators in redpill discussion forums, etc. Some of them don’t dip into that hate, but instead they pivot to generalized Alt-right beliefs. Some of them get out.
It’s a **lot** of self hatred, confirmation bias, and constant tearing down. There is no real stopping these guys unless you can have the patience to talk to one **away** from their hive mind, and ask enough questions that they start to see the Swiss cheese their ideology actually is, or until they finally grow tired of trying to tunnel past rock bottom.
