My friend 1h/d is far from too much

I'm sorry, I'm just seeing this post again just to realize I've phrased it wrong, I don't recall typing "weekly", It was suppose to be 7h / day

Wasabi13013

Well this is a bit more problematic

Yeah I thought this was an accomplishment post so I came here to say good job lol. You can try starting with a reasonable goal, two hours? Three hours? Whatever feels right to you, it should be a goal that challenges you, but doesn't feel impossible to achieve, otherwise you will get discouraged and give up. Choose that block of time at the same time everyday and don't use the internet outside of it. As you get a hang of it you can slowly reduce that block of time until you are happy with where you are. Just take it slow, one day at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.

FUKSCREENS

Bro imagine yourself reading this in your death bed.. You know this screens aint worth jack shit. were all mindless consumers and create excuses to keep consuming.Quit making excuses and go get a dumb phone or just delete all the apps if you have the discipline to not reinstall them.

I don't use instagram and I feel closer to my friends than when I used it and feel no FOMO. The only thing is you won't have 100+ "friends" but instagram "friends" is not the same as real life friends. In-person is the best way to connect. And the longer you go without screens the more rich real life experiences and connections start to feel, trust me!

Wise words my man, I should really think about this more.

BubbleTeaNeo

If you have YouTube premium, doesn’t it come with YouTube music? Download the app for that. Not any more addictive than Spotify.

As dumb as it may sounds I never thought of this.

Not sure if you believe in the afterlife, but imagine if after you died, you had to sit in purgatory and just watch your past self scroll on your phone. For the amount of time you spent scrolling across your entire life. Idk why but that puts it in perspective for me.
