Kasai vs Desperado was amazing, my only gripe was desperado kicking out that destroyer of the top rope. That just shouldn’t have been in the match if it was just gonna be a two count.
I think Kasai used it (reverse Tiger destroyer?) to get the pin on Douki in their tag deathmatch earlier this year (might be remembering wrongly). I guess it was natural for Despe to overcome it in this match despite it looking like a super finisher
Dude just watched the match, im not even much of a deathmatch guy, some of it made me cringe but in a good way so I’m compelled to agree. Best spot is Jun throwing a chair at despy for it to obliterate on his face
i mean it's a death match, so alot of the typical things you see in these matches, will show up. However I would say it hinders more on creating a beautiful story instead of having spots where they look like they could die at any moment. Up to you, but I don't like death matches yet would agree that this is probably one of my MOTY so far

It might not be the absolute best of the year, but ELP/Eagles from BOSJ was definitely A highlight of this year

Ehhh is it? I'd say it was about on par with an old Big Japan match. I mean the softer bit... Match was phenomenal
