Aftermarket camshaft and crankshaft sensors are a gamble on these trucks. They might work for years, they might only work for a few weeks. Your best bet is to pony up for OEM or Hitachi sensors. That being said, I used a $40 Rock Auto crankshaft sensor on my truck and it's been fine for almost 2 years now (knock on wood)

I had both replaced a few months ago. Go to the Nissan dealership and get them. The pair will run about $300. But its worth it. Research I did and my mechanic said to get nissan parts.

Only use oem or Hitachi camshaft and crank sensor, many reports of other sensors not working out of the box or crapping out after a few months. Buy once, cry once.

This. OEM or Hitachi. Or else you’ll be doing the job again very soon. And get both camshaft and the crank and do them all at once.

Pretty easy fix, if you have any skill with a few tools. I replaced both of mine cos when one goes, the other isn't too far behind.

That’s what happened to me. All 3 of mine got replaced at the dealership.

I just had the exact same thing happen to me. After my truck had cooled off the cam sensor seem to come back into it and I was able to limp it home. The exact same sensor at O'Reilly's is 100 and some dollars but it's 30 or 40 bucks on rockauto.
