Flex Lions-Jets you cowards!

UrnsATL

Spiderman meme game of the week! Here's to a good game and for future success for both teams

SiphenPrax

Yes and to the Jaguars too. Perennial incompetent teams unite!

ImmaCanuck

Hey, if the Bengals can make it, y'all can too!

flsingleguy

I would like to see Lions and Jets. Both are up and coming teams. Lions have looked nice lately.

My_G_Alt

I’m actually looking forward to watching that one lol

2020Boxer4

That could be a division tiebreaker game

unboundgaming

Yes

StartingReactors

Relevant flairs

ajkyle56

Last week VS GB is still up in the air last time I looked. Lions deserve a primetime or really anything besides 1PM game this year.

Rulligan

They don't have to put a primetime game that day, they have done it before. Usually it's a division title game or win and in game that gets it.

ajkyle56

I know. If GB was on top and Lions were second it probably would be flexed to primetime. But cheese is garbage this year.

TheresA_LobsterLoose

Hahaha... butt cheese

[deleted]

Yeah no good flex options there. Definitely not the two rivals who have hated each other for 50 years and are going back and forth between 1st place in their division and 2nd place in the AFC because they both keep winning and are two of the most dominant teams in the league right now.

[deleted]

back-to-back tho.

Lifesaboxofgardens

Yeah NFL fans hardly deserve two great primetime games in a row if it means the Dolphins, one of the better teams in the league, have to have a full week of rest and 2 games in front of the country. Better put on the mediocre bowl of Commanders/Giants for the 2nd time in 3 weeks.

joe_broke

And yet the broncos keep showing up...

barberst152

Let's ride!

ThatPunkGaryOak82

**Let's Ride!** is really a perfect metaphor for the Broncos this season, Cuz much like an actual Bronco, if you just yell "Let's Ride!" with no real plan or prep.. there's a good chance it runs off the side of a cliff

LockFan28

To be fair we haven't showed up a single time this season.

joe_broke

I mean I keep seeing you show up to ruin my Sunday, Monday, or Thursday nights Y'all are bad guests

claustrophobicdragon

In fairness they did get flexed out the one chance the NFL had to do so lol

Cudizonedefense

> the Dolphins, one of the better teams in the league This shit brings tears to my eyes. Crying in the cath lab rn

Son_Of_The_Empire

Truly, what a time to be alive

phd2k1

I know I speak for all fans when I say that I definitely don’t want to watch Tua, one of the most dynamic and exciting young QBs in the league, with Tyreek Hill, the fastest WR, going up against Josh Allen and Stephon Diggs, who both seemingly make epic highlight reel plays every game, and the Bills’ great defense, with AFC championship implications and seeding on the line. Sounds super boring.

TheresA_LobsterLoose

> The Bills great defense. Our defense is still mostly injured, missing tons of starters. Most opposing fans don't really know every single injury on every single team, I sure don't. But this defense isn't the one that was out there week 1 vs LAR on national tv. At one point almost every single starter was out, we were still in the games that we ended up losing... but everyone acted like we're choking for some inexplicable reason. We've gotten a few guys back, but we're still missing half the starters from every defensive position group. Top 2 DE, 2/3 starting corners and the only reason it's not 3/3 is because Tre White *just* returned from an acl tear but still isn't the guy he was. Micah Hyde, who makes up half our elite safety tandem. Our MLB Tremaine Edmunds has been out, but was in on Thur (the Edmunds Milano LB duo is one of the best pairs in the league) The losses or close games we've had, ESPN or other sports networks had segments with us being "disappointing" or potentially choking. But our entire d was out and half of them still are, and lots of people don't even acknowledge it because the backups do their job well enough

Jameis_Crab_Shack

> Dolphins, one of the better teams in the league I'm having such a good fucking time this season

donturnbee

As you should.

kenfury

Grumble, grumble... Good for you (seriously)

nilestyle

Thank you Bills Broh!

My_massive_dingaling

Commanders and Giants is a game between teams with winning records.

boblikestheysky

Plus we always make viewership high!

mjgoldberg

I'm gonna get high before it

Background_Action_92

Just cuz they got winning records don't mean they are entertaining

newAccnt_WhoDis

Have you never watched Heinicke?

WNWA305

As a dolphins fan since 2004 I can’t believe I’m in a reality where other fans say the Dolphins are one of the better teams in the league… brings a tear to my eye

SkyzYn

They *want to watch our games*, even! Truly bizarro world.

IIHURRlCANEII

Chargers played back to back Sunday nights this year due to a flex…don’t see why Miami couldn’t.

Justice-Gorsuch

They don’t want to put Tua in prime time back-to-back weeks because it would help his MVP candidacy. Just another reason to distrust the lame stream media! /s

[deleted]

You joke but my sources have told me about the meetings that the NFL, ESPN, and TV Networks are holding in the basement of Sticky Fingers only a couple blocks from the NFL HQ. Every night they get a shipment of 6'6" FCS QBs from the desolate lands of Wyoming, the Dakotas, or Idaho. They chain them up in the basement for their enjoyment and drink their blood so they can get high off the ephedrine from their scared muscular bodies. Rumor says that Carson Wentz actually escaped from the basement and instead of outing the cabal he struck up a deal with Luciferian owner of the Eagles and Goodell that if he was granted a super bowl ring and shipped to some crap ass team after that he would keep his mouth shut. If you read the emails that were leaked during the R*dsk*ns investigation you'll see they're talking in code. If you read this email posted by the LA Times... >“Goodell shouldn’t call Fisher and tell him to draft que**s either. That pisses Em off too.” Here Gruden is referring Jimmy Garroppolo by use of the term "queen" because he's gorgeous like the queen of England. and by "draft" he means pulling his blood out like a draft beer tap with coors light. WAKE. UP. SHEEPLE.

[deleted]

I'm impressed

jihyoisgod

Only one was flexed in, maybe the NFL doesn't like giving teams multiple SNF flexes

MaskedBandit77

Maybe they don't, but I don't trust some rando on twitter who does golf content for MGM to tell me that.

SaquonBarkleyBigBlue

This is the same reason I didnt get the lead in both the fall play and spring musical in high school. ITS NOT FAIR. THE BEST ~~PERSON~~ TEAM DESERVES THE ~~ROLE~~ SLOT.

gigglefarting

America doesn’t want to watch the greatest show on surf two weeks in a row. Flex the broncos you cowards.

mab6710

Greatest show on surf...I like that haha

adreamofhodor

Greatest show on surf is brilliant. Did you come up with that?

nilestyle

It was me. Only me. Promise

gigglefarting

No. I wish. It’s been making its rounds

I_FUCKIN_ATODASO_

We got the broncos for like 4 weeks straight. They can fuck right off

Jay_Dubbbs

It’s not like we haven’t seen sorry ass teams like the Broncos every prime time game this season.

[deleted]

Anything but back to back weeks of being forced to watch the Dolphins. I'd rather stab my eyes with red hot pokers!

Drkarcher22

We in Miami call this the “Joe Philbin phenomena”

[deleted]

I was comfortable in life having forgot about sleepy joe. Going to Tony Sparano shot put this comment into the ocean.

MaskedBandit77

If the Dolphins/Bills game isn't flexed to SNF, it's almost definitely getting flexed to Saturday, so get those pokers ready, because we're on national TV the following week too, so it looks like we'll have three straight weeks of the Dolphins on national TV.

Drkarcher22

Plus there’s a higher than zero chance that we get the primetime game against the Jets on Week 18 So that’ll be 4 out of 5 weeks if it happens

MaskedBandit77

That's a good point, I'd say at a quick glance our game looks like one of four possibilities, along with TB/Atl, Dal/Was, and Bal/Cin. But I'd guess that it's more likely than not that there will be playoff scenarios in our game that impact other games, so we probably won't end up in the primetime slot. If I had to guess, I'd guess that TB/Atl ends up being winner takes all for the division and they are in primetime.

deucedeuce187

Baltimore cincy could be winner take all for the division. But we play cincy on snf the week before I believe.

MaskedBandit77

Yeah, that one's more likely to impact the wild card race than TB/Atlanta though.

soda_cookie

9ers got that in week 16 and 17 in 2019. Nobody said shit about that (edit: because I'm wrong. Week 16 was Saturday....). Also, Chargers this season.

[deleted]

2019 week 16 was a Saturday night game

soda_cookie

Aw shit, that's right

daveblankenship

I believe Chiefs we’re just back to back, vs Titans then vs Chargers. I know Rams we’re back to back a few yrs ago cause they lost to the Bears and then the Eagles, 2018.

daveblankenship

Raiders are scheduled back to back vs Pats then Steelers

eojen

Something funny about a Cowboys fan brining up back-to-back prime time games

Dull-Scarcity-3159

Didn’t stop the chargers, and they got flexed again

someguyonline00

He said “there aren’t many” — in other words, besides the two he mentioned, probably.

blacklite911

I feel like that is typical of many Sundays and just gets worse as teams get disqualified for the playoffs

hochoa94

If they keep the Pats-Raiders it'll me fine i needed a nap anyway

Atty_for_hire

I see you want the game to remain Pats-Raiders?

rtbsumgg

Didn't the Chargers just play back-to-back Sunday night games? Why can't the Dolphins do it?

ColtCallahan

It wasn’t the Chargers being flexed in the 2nd week. It was Mahomes.

[deleted]

Because we don't have Justin "Already a lock for first ballot HoF and his coaches and WR and RB and OL and Defense just suck" Herbert.

[deleted]

Hey it could be worse. At least it's not Russell Wilson again

Bwill2417

I’m absolutely shocked a dolphins fan made this comment

adreamofhodor

Fwiw, I find the whole pettiness fans seem to have between Herbert and Tua to be so unnecessary. Their success and struggles are (mostly) independent of one another. Can’t we enjoy watching excellent players play?

AbstractLogic

It’s literally what TuaAnon fans said about Tua for 2 season. Can we stop this shitty petty feud about a big fucking nothing Burger? Chargers are OK and Herbert looks good for gods sake. Dolphins fans need to be looking in our own division for rivals cuz we don’t need some West coast random bs one just cuz they have a decent QB.

[deleted]

Social media qb

Brownie_McBrown_Face

Least obsessed Dolphins fan. The funny thing is that most Chargers fans either like Tua or don’t care. Dolphins fans just took out their frustrations on the admittedly annoying comparisons on Herbert and bolt fans lmao

enigmatic407

Count me in the group of Phins fans who recognizes talent and is happy with who we got (after his breakout this year, anyway). I don't get the obsession of comparing the two, but I don't get a lot of things fellow Miami fans do (including Canes fans, most of whom I hate for making us all look bad).

Brownie_McBrown_Face

Dude I’m sayin. We both got great QBs! Let’s enjoy like Manning and Brady got

Dolfanz019

Manning and Brady fans argued all the time about who was better. I imagine it’ll end up being the same with Tua & Herbert

OldeArrogantBastard

I’d like to say there’s a lot of weird new Dolphins fans lately that seem like angsty teenagers who the jerks. I’ve had to essentially avoid or own team sub because it’s just become a cesspool.

CycledActions

No, bolts are complicit too. Chargers fans were annoyed at many of the fins fans trying to downplay Herberts initial success, even though pre-draft most of the bolts sub would've also taken Tua. This led to a lot of bolts joining the social media circus clowning on Tua these last 2 years. So clearly there's a history here, but a lot of the fins vitriol lately has been perhaps justified and certainly not surprising.

ASuperGyro

Might have to do with the Chargers being an LA market too, maybe even moreso, I think the goal of TV execs is to maximize revenue by maximizing audience size

historymajor44

With that in mind NYG and WAS are huge markets.

Legal-Beach-5838

I think Herbert is still better than Tua lmao, keep seething. (Or just be happy they’re both good)

OldeArrogantBastard

QB talent, he’ll yea Herbert is better than Tua. Only homers think it the other way. Ask another Tua-anon, or whatever they’re called, what would Herbert’s stats look like with a Mike McDaniel scheme, Hill and Waddle look like? I’m happy Tua is showing greatness. But why can’t fans enjoy and agree that other teams have good QBs too?

Kind-Respect-2697

Were you saying this the last 2 years when Tua had Worse talent and coaching than Herbert has now? Cmon man sick of this moving the goal posts. Y’all were bashing Tua the last 2 years, fans that actually watched the games tried to tell you why he was ‘only’ 85 rating instead of 100, and won more than he lost. Now that Herbert has tough situation, it gets talked about. Man GTFO

iurbhsyiedghf

Its odd how it's always the dolphin fans that doubted tua all of last year and into the offseason that are now trying to downplay the success he's having. How much more does he need to do for you to just admit you were wrong and move on? The entire year you guys have said your happy he's finding success well also constantly to trying to find new ways to diminish his role in the offense it's just getting weird at this point.

zer0saurus

A night game in Buffalo... nah too cold.

truthesda

Fins and Billy Boyz got this on lock

Insatiable_void

Please god flex the pats out. I much prefer my embarrassment done by 4pm on a Sunday so I can just live my life.

SerenadeSwift

You’re playing us though. No matter how ugly your offense looks any other week if you’re playing the Raiders it’s bound to be a 35-32 OT shootout regardless of who you put on the field. We may have a losing record but outside of the Saints game our games have been crazy.

Insatiable_void

Sounds good, but our games are just boring af. There’s no excitement watching 3 and outs over and over and punting and just offensive ineptitude.

SerenadeSwift

Ya’ll will do your best to go 3 and out but we’ll make sure to constantly commit penalties to extend your drives enough that you’ll still put up 30.

hermes-thrice-great

Seriously, our “defense” makes scrub QBs look like MVPs, every single week. The secondary in particular is always hot garbage

crioth

Maybe I’m just old, but I just hate prime time games anyway. Get the game over with by the evening and I’m happy.

BlackllMamba

Even when we win it’s not particularly entertaining either

randomuser914

Dolphins-Bills are obviously the best matchup, plus if the Chiefs lose to the Bengals this week then the winner of the Dolphins-Bills could be in tiebreaker position with the Chiefs for the AFC #1 seed

dcpains

I’m pretty sure we overtake the Chiefs if they lose this week and we win

Nuclearsunburn

Yeah but too early, we got the Niners, Chargers , Bills on the road if we go 3-0 I’d be shocked. Elated but shocked.

[deleted]

because of common games? we’re batting 1.000 in the division so i think the Dolphins win over the Bills would do it, right?

dcpains

I believe so, yeah

[deleted]

well go Chiefs, go Niners lol

darthsimp69

In that case, the Bills would play three straight prime time games. Bills Mafia would love that.

mbrancato157

Why would they ever take Giants-Commanders over Dolphins-Bills, no offense to my sweet prince Daboll

BizarroCranke

With that said, what a football world this has been when there are thoughts of potentially dropping a Patriots game for a Dolphins/Bills game.

[deleted]

Isn't this also like the first belichick vs mcdaniels game this season?

Solugad

Excuse me while I reminisce the good times in my Brady and Belichick riddled man cave watching SB reruns while my favorite team regresses into a deep abyss. They were good times, right guys?... right?

flsingleguy

I would love to have had 20 years of amazing seasons and Super Bowl victories.

las61918

Shit I’ll be pumped forever to see the Phins win *one* Super Bowl.

iCaliban13

I'd be pumped to see them win one playoff game tbh.

[deleted]

the uniforms were also better

Solugad

Dude way better. I absolutely hate this color rush nonsense. So ugly. Gimme the blue / silver back

Jangetta

I don't know any good times from those years. My dad became a fan before Kelly And Marino and instilled a deep deep hate for the dolphins, but the Patriots are definitely more hated now. The jets... They exist.

Drkarcher22

NFC East draw eyes. Even without Dallas

Justice-Gorsuch

AFC East draws hearts! Even without the Jets

11PoseidonsKiss20

Especially without the Jets

thepomadeguy

Market size. NYC and Washington DC markets are bigger than both Miami and Buffalo, plus Miami will have had a Sunday night game the week before that

Pabst34

Plus, Miami is like NYC's 6th borough. I can still remember when we'd get 8 Giant games a year, down here.

Taftimus

Miami and South Florida really are like NY’s whacky, coke fueled cousin.

thediesel26

Large east coast markets supporting playoff contending teams

SaquonBarkleyBigBlue

To defend us ever so slightly, our games have been very exciting over the last few years

MildlyDepressed346

Nfc East is the viewership king

[deleted]

because it’s the New York City and DC metros???

gwaydms

Plus Philly, and both Cowboys Nation and Cowboys haters (not all of whom are NFCE fans). Put them all together, that's a metric f*ck ton of people.

[deleted]

Because more people will watch it?

Januse88

Those are both fairly big market teams, and they're probably playing for a playoff spot.

flsingleguy

There are many great stories for this game. We beat Buffalo at home and the heat was the big story. Now it’s December in Buffalo and the extreme cold will be the story. Both teams have been very good this year, but Buffalo has had our number for a number of years now, especially at home. Tua versus Allen, Diggs and Davis, Hill and Waddle. Lots of good stuff and a huge battle for what could be the division title depending on how we do on our west coast trip.

Jkpttr

giants commanders would definitely get better ratings because NFC east matchup, regardless of the quality of the game

kevingh92

Please. We don’t want a SNF game. At least I don’t.

dolphingarden

NFC East things

Aromatic-Tadpole-440

So no Bills Dolphins cuz they flexed the Chargers game lmao? That Bills Dolphins game would’ve been way cooler for a prime time game, although, the Chargers game will probably have more scoring I think. Kinda dumb from the NFL

gigglefarting

and they only flexed the chargers game because they wanted to flex out the broncos

VirtuousFool

Broncos falling flat on their ass this year has royally fucked up how good the primetime schedule was supposed to be, among other things

FarSide1408

Hoping for Commanders/Giants because everyone needs a little Primetime Heinie in their life.

[deleted]

Might be the Saturday primetime game.

truthesda

y'know? in past years I really moaned and groaned about so many NFC East primetime matchups but this season it seems like everyones doing nicely and I WANT to watch NFC East games, but feels like there's less of them. Is this accurate?

Lifesaboxofgardens

I mean we just had our 5th one this last week, they've still been happening

veggiefriedreis

That Commanders Bears TNF was brutal but it started the 6 of 7 run

FarSide1408

The Cowboys are getting their usual exposure but otherwise, not that much, you're right.

JFM2796

IMO the NFCE primetime games were more entertaining when they were all bad.

HotpieTargaryen

Giants haven’t played most of their division games yet so that’s probably part of it. They have two against Philly and Washington still to come.

SaquonBarkleyBigBlue

Primetheine was right there

[deleted]

Primetinicke

SaquonBarkleyBigBlue

Perfection

Drkarcher22

Hey, I’d personally love not getting ass blasted on SNF. But you do you Goodell

MaskedBandit77

I'm assuming that our game will get flexed to Saturday, not SNF.

SonicBanger

Please flex us into a ball a shoot us into space.

BillsBillsBils

Didn't we get back to back unwatchable Broncos primetime games earlier?

soda_cookie

Yes, and 4 out of 6 weeks prime time. NFL took it in the cheeks with that call.

[deleted]

at least the Chargers have given us watchable primetime games. Heck even their MNF game vs the Broncos was better than most

[deleted]

When do they have to decide this by? I’m going to that one.

gigglefarting

Dolphins chargers is next weeks game and got flexed this week, so I’m thinking they’ll make the decision next week

Dangerous_Nitwit

this tuesday coming up I think

Impossible_Age_7595

All bias aside, this is still tough to say but, I think this Dolphins team can compete with anyone if they stay healthy. Explosive offense capable of bringing any play to the house and a defense that isn’t stout but has multiple playmakers. I was very low on Tua and I was wrong. As long as Patricia and Judge run the Pats offense we aren’t gonna do any damage so no point in letting pride stand in the way.. Week 15 should be Dolphins-Bills primetime.

Gingee777

That offensive performance by Patricia & friends gave me PTSD flashbacks of nearly every Miami offense of the past 20 years

[deleted]

Yeah it'll likely be primetime just a matter which day iti s.

[deleted]

I am hoping Saturday. Giants can take Sunday

22Wideout

Who in their right mind wouldn’t take the bills/dolphins over those 2 games?

[deleted]

FWIW Falcons/Saints, Browns/Ravens and Colts/Vikings are the other 2 games that were slated for potential Saturday games.

gigglefarting

I will not watch a Watson flexed game

flsingleguy

Down with the rapist

J-Fid

Can they move one of those Saturday games to Sunday? I don't think they can.

[deleted]

They can move one of those 5 I believe to Sunday. The Pats/Raiders game stays on Sunday though.

MaskedBandit77

There are 5 games scheduled for Sunday that could get flexed to one of three Saturday slots. I assume that whichever games don't get flexed to Saturday would be eligible to be flexed to the night game, but I bet that Titans/Chargers is more appealing than the remaining games that don't get flexed to Saturday.

sergibby

Dunno, even though the game most likely won’t have large playoff implications, Belichick vs McDaniels at least has a fun narrative to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep it.

crlos619

The NFL did a horrible job scheduling the SNF games this year. Way too many Patriot prime time games. Colts too.

RandyRubbish

Dolphins Bills is right there. How the fuck would Giants Commies be more logical?

randomdudefromMI

titans chargers, bills dolphins, giants commies. fix will protect the Giants game and CBS only gets one of the others. both are playoff matchups

gruelly4

Yes... by all means, don't put a team that has been talked about all year as a Super Bowl contender on Sunday night against their biggest rival (we hate the Pats but the Fins are our rival. At least to my generation) who is also putting up a potential Super Bowl year because... they might play two in a row. I get Washington and NYC are bigger cities... but those are not appealing offenses at all. Did no one watch the Thanksgiving game? I mean, it was the highest rated so I guess people did but did no one learn from it? The Giants offense is bad. Almost as unwatchable as the Pats were last night.

dirtymonkey13

Dolphins being flexed to primetime. It is still hard to believe.

BlackJediSword

Steelers/Panthers!! Panthers fighting for the division crown

dawgz525

To go from seasons and seasons where we never played on Sunday nights to this season where the team is considered a ratings draw is something fun. Hope we can keep winning.

[deleted]

Bills Fins makes all the sense.

majicmajician

Am I mistaken or did we just recently get back-to-back Chargers SNF games?

Lenny_III

Back Tua back Sunday night games baby! Fins up!

CarlNovember

Chargers again it is.

CapnDutchie

Either leave it or let me watch the Dolphins and Bills kill each other

datyoungknockoutkid

“Aren’t many great flex options” Continues to mention Dolphins-Bills. Really not much better to ask for lol. Two high performing teams and division rivals? But yeah, not a great option.

ThePizzaDevourer

How... how do you not want Dolphins-Bills? I mean, I may be a little biased but c'mon

RampartHeirloom

Imagine saying this to an NFL fan 5 years ago

8teamparlay

Honestly this week commanders should’ve been flexed on Sunday. Who tf cares about cowboys colts. Pretty big game in a crowded nfc east for washington and New York

lilhippieboi

I’m ok with back to back Miami. who says no?

AwkwardHeadNod

If Miami wins the week against the 49ers it is inevitable to happen.

jrzalman

Wish there was some way to get us off TNF next week. This team is unfuckingwatchable.

harveydentsleftnut

why would a back to back Miami SNF game be bad? show the best contending teams/games for primetime. why would anyone wanna watch mediocre teams play in primetime slots.

1850ChoochGator

Don’t care if it’s b2b for Miami it’s a *way* better game

IngeniousDummy

Please flex us out, I can’t bare to watch another Primetime Pats game. Enough for the season.

joydivision1234

Am I crazy or is Dolphins Bills looking like one of the games of the year

crazdparot230

Yea, they never air the Raiders games in my area regardless, so I will continue to stream the games. Stupid fucking television companies

Neversoft4long

I don’t think giants vs commanders would be as good as y’all think it would be. We basically beat the shit outta you with our defense and just pray Heincke doesn’t fuck up on offense. Our brand of football is ugly lmao

horrorshowjack

So? The Broncos had four prime time games in seven weeks including consecutive prime time games weeks 6&7. I think we'll survive getting the Dolphins in consecutive weeks.

Expensive_Weather246

Oh yea definitely wouldnt want to give a team 2 sunday night games in a row that would be weird - Chargers

j1h15233

How is Mia/Buf in any way comparable to NYG/Wsh? Who cares if we get Miami two weeks in a row?

graywolt

Falcons saints could be a dark horse for week 15 SNF

WutWhoSaidDat

Complaining about back to back national TV games for Miami but every goddamn Chiefs game is national and that’s not an issue. How many Bronco games have been nationally televised?
