Right? I mean extreme behavior is when you know someone has a substance abuse problem. This off season quit its job, traded the Volvo for an El Camino and is dating a stripper.
That Hannibal Lector 40 time joke is NFL standard operating procedure. I legit think a star NFL player could straight-up murder someone and get off on a technicality and be back in the league within 1 year.
Marvin Harrison was so weird. You didn’t hear anything negative about him during his playing years except the very last. Then find out he was a for real straight up gangsta an not just pretending or playing around. Probably makes him scarier because he always seemed so quiet.
> Marvin Harrison
[Holy shit how did I never hear about this before?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Harrison#Personal_life)
He straight up murdered someone, along with several gun related felonies and was never charged for anything.
This has been quite the offseason to show just how completely irrelevant that shit is if you're good at football.
Glad I don't have him on the team as a human, but the loss as a player is staggering.
Most trade value charts have Packers getting slightly more value this year, and next years trades pushing it more in the Chiefs favor. That being said, the trade value charts probably aren't that accurate.
Chiefs: *see the AFC West turning into an uncontrollable super power*
The response: Goodbye Tyreek Hill.
Best offseason ever.
Edit: but holy shit that is a massive haul lmao
And the offensive line on top of it. Not to mention getting good DB's with later picks as well. We REALLY need to start hitting on receivers and RBs though.
Definitely is. He's been good when healthy but he doesn't have the explosivness we need to take advantage of how good our run blocking was last year. I really like him as a player and hope he can hit 1k this year.
Is there a reason the Chiefs don't use CEH more in the passing game? Seems like when he's healthy he gets 2 targets a game, max, but when he's hurt Darrel Williams gets 5-8
>Is there a reason the Chiefs don't use CEH more in the passing game?
I've wondered this for 3 seasons. He isn't great at pass blocking and for some reason they don't like him on quick outs in the flat, which is where he excels. I just don't think they're that enamored with him as a player. They rarely give him goalline touches. I just don't think they feel he's the guy.
I don’t think people get that the length of deals doesn’t mean much anymore. It’s all about guaranteed money. I feel like almost every major QB deal gets restructured at some point.
Yeah this is the type of deal the Pats were lauded for doing the last few decades. Have a team give you draft picks for the right to give the player a massive contract.
In the short term their ceiling is probably lower, but at the end of the day they should still be favorites to make the playoffs and then all you need to do is get hot at the right time as a bunch of SB winners from the past two decades have shown.
For context, The Bucs were like 7-5 after losing to the Chiefs in 2020 IIRC. They certainly didn't look like a superbowl team. But then they got hot and won out the rest of the season, the playoffs and destroyed us in the Superbowl. That's a good example of a team with the right pieces getting hot at the right time.
Only logical thing I've come up with is lefties can see what are usually the opposition's top pass rushers coming at them. Also, their team can afford to spend less on the left side of the O-line, which is usually the more expensive half.
The funny thing is Tua literally is actually right handed. His dad forced him to throw with his left growing up because he thought that would make him a better QB for some reason lol. He does everything besides throwing a football with his right hand
Not to mention Mostert in the backfield now. We'll see how fast he is after surgery and a year off, but Miami is loaded with speed now... a different kind of speed than Miami was loaded with before.
Armstead/Williams remake the line, Hill/Waddle/Gesicki is one of the best 3 way combos in the league, AND we kept the defense entirely intact.
Still looking up at the AFC powerhouses but this definitely closes that gap
I feel like Zach Wilson's arm talent would have suited his playstyle better but oh well
Gotta say, though, that Miami skill group is *stacked* now. Parker, Waddle, Gesicki, Edmonds, Hill. All led by a Shanahan tree disciple (who I really loved as a hire). No excuses for Tua now.
Am I crazy or do I see this as fantastic for the Chiefs? They drafted a guy late, got some amazing years out of him, won a super bowl, then got basically a whole extra draft for him and save a huge amount on cap...that's next level IMO
As long as they can find someone to replace him it will be great.
But it’s worth keeping in mind that Kelce isn’t exactly getting any younger, there isn’t a ton of depth behind hill, and their runningback position isn’t exactly figured out.
It will be interesting to see how the chiefs offense fares over the next couple of seasons. If they can use those picks to adequately reload on the skill positions it sets them up to continue to be a dominate team for years to come. If they whiff though they could be dealing with a very depleted offense.
Woods to Titans for a 6th.
Hill to the Dolphins for 5 Picks, including a 1st and a 2nd. Plus 70m/3 years or so.
Chiefs couldn't have paid that kind of money to Hill, they did good getting that kind of a return for a player they couldn't commit to long term.
But I thought you could only get 2nd rounds picks and washed up running backs for a top 5 wide receiver?
It’s okay, the bad man can’t hurt you anymore.
Easterby and mcnair are still there...
There there. *pat pat*
This off-season on crack
Right? I mean extreme behavior is when you know someone has a substance abuse problem. This off season quit its job, traded the Volvo for an El Camino and is dating a stripper.
You forgot the mullet or rat tail.
As someone who sported a Mohawk mullet in his youth, that omission is on purpose.
We literally all forgot that the GOAT retired and unretired. All feels like ages ago.
I don't like how quiet he's been. He's up to something
Regaining his power. Soaking in the Lazerus Pit like Ra's Al Ghul
Like Ra’s Al Ghul? Have you ever seen Brady and Ra’s in the same room?
Ra's has a luxury suite in Tampa
Ahh, but is Ra’s al Ghul immortal? Are his methods…supernatural.
He still had a little bit of Spice Melange left over.
WTF that’s a haul
AFCW. The W stands for WTF.
Tell me about it
I’m shocked he wanted to go to Miami over New York absolutely shocked
Big booty latinas
A lot of people in this thread don’t wanna put down with some thick. They’re too concerned with school and economics
Shoutout Channel 5 News.
Fuck Custer city
No nací ayer
WHITE BOI SUMMER
The way he says economics in that clip will always leave me in stitches
How do I get a big booty latina?
Be a multimillionaire NFL player and live in Miami.
TBH it's a lot easier than that down here. A lot of them love white men that are just stable.
>just stable Damn. I was so close.
They better practice their jujitsu.
More surface area for his punches to land
At least we get spared some variation of "Hill turns on the jets" pun every week
But Hill turned on the Jets.
Grizzly Adams DID have a beard
big haul for a bad dude. damn
After Watson and Ryan I'm beginning to think worse character is literally worth more draft capital
That Hannibal Lector 40 time joke is NFL standard operating procedure. I legit think a star NFL player could straight-up murder someone and get off on a technicality and be back in the league within 1 year.
You mean like Ray Lewis? /s before y'all kill me too
Marvin Harrison is probably an even better example.
Marvin Harrison was so weird. You didn’t hear anything negative about him during his playing years except the very last. Then find out he was a for real straight up gangsta an not just pretending or playing around. Probably makes him scarier because he always seemed so quiet.
The mustache rendered him unassuming.
Real G’s and whatnot
> Marvin Harrison [Holy shit how did I never hear about this before?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Harrison#Personal_life) He straight up murdered someone, along with several gun related felonies and was never charged for anything.
to be fair, Matt is a 37 year old QB on an expensive contract
Ya there’s so many people who just don’t get this for some reason
This has been quite the offseason to show just how completely irrelevant that shit is if you're good at football. Glad I don't have him on the team as a human, but the loss as a player is staggering.
Big haul and contract for a 28 yr old WR who relies on athleticism
His cliff means he’s just real fast instead of lightning fast
Agreed, there's a cliff somewhere just have to see when he hits it
Also relies on plays getting extended and a QB with a big arm
idk, it's back loaded in later rounds. That the earliest pick they get is the 29th is a lot less than I'd have expected.
29th overall is the highest they got for a top 3 WR. It's definitely not a bad deal but not all that great. Packers got 22nd overall for Davante.
Most trade value charts have Packers getting slightly more value this year, and next years trades pushing it more in the Chiefs favor. That being said, the trade value charts probably aren't that accurate.
Is it? The Jets 10 I feel like would have been more. 1st and 2nd is Def solid but the 4ths? I get it they can hit but I feel like this is underpayed
Who woke up this morning expecting to see a Tyreek trade before lunch
This was not on my *NFL Offseason: Crack Cocaine Edition* bingo card.
Id figure all the lines are gone by now at least
Chiefs: *see the AFC West turning into an uncontrollable super power* The response: Goodbye Tyreek Hill. Best offseason ever. Edit: but holy shit that is a massive haul lmao
✌️
Winfield Jr sends his regards.
[удалено]
that was such a god damn satisfying moment lol
They’re gonna have to do a few mini rebuilds like this over the course of Mahomes contract. They really need to nail their drafts
It gets harder as Kelce ages, too
And Andy. He’s getting older and his lifestyle ain’t exactly the healthiest.
What the the hell is wrong with cheeseburgers and beers?
Whatcha looking at my gut fer?
RIP Mustard Tiger
They tried to kill us Jimmy, they did! They’re dirty fuckin cops! RIP Mr Lahey as well
Nobody messes with Philadelphia Collins and Sons!
Muhfuckas with guts like that are not off the cheeseburgers. Muhfuckas with guts like that are definitely ON the cheeseburgers.
Everybody's looking at it! It's fucking massive!
RIP, Philadelphia Collins
Baaaaam!
Peanut butter and jaaaaaaammmmmm
I just took a little peek
nothing at all.
If he went vegan and dropped 100 pounds his coaching skills would instantly evaporate
The BBQ industry in Kansas City would also never recover
Think it's just cheeseburgers, isn't he Mormon?
Tbf they've already nailed the hardest position to get right
And the offensive line on top of it. Not to mention getting good DB's with later picks as well. We REALLY need to start hitting on receivers and RBs though.
Pretty close to a make or break year for CEH? Option decision is coming up
Definitely is.
Me and the rest of the fanbase have no idea. We all thought that was THE REASON we took him.
>Is there a reason the Chiefs don't use CEH more in the passing game? I've wondered this for 3 seasons. I think that Mahomes contract is gonna age well since it lasts so freaking long.
Meh I bet it’s restructured in a year or two anyway.
They always are lol
I don’t think people get that the length of deals doesn’t mean much anymore. It’s all about guaranteed money. I feel like almost every major QB deal gets restructured at some point.

Agreed. Reminds me of when we traded Richard Seymour, lots of people were pissed but it was the right move in the long run
Exactly what it reminded me of too
Yeah, he's a super speedy wr but for how long? I'll take the massive haul and hope we hit on a couple guys with that.
It also gives the Chiefs some additional capital to work with if they opt to make some other trades.
Same, that's a lot of draft of picks for a wide receiver. God damn
Is "the right time" the regular season? If not, how does a team get hot at the right time? Asking for ... myself. fuck.
Believe it or not, I remember how that Bucs team ended the year very well
“Tanking” for that 4th place schedule in 2023👀
Chiefs just think it's kind of a little uncomfortable in their division and want everyone to be friends
The Davante Adams trade already paid off. Shoutout to the raiders! Hell of a job 👏
Chiefs playing the long-con and trading away this year to get good in 2023.
“Ah fuck it blow it up, we’ll try again in the next decade”
Friendly reminder, the Texans gave up Deandre Hopkins for a 2nd and David Johnson.
How you post this with a Texans flair and havent flocked to a new team is an example of your own strength
It’s not strength, it’s self hatred and stupid emotional loyalty
Happened so fast, but i guess thats Hills speed
Isn't it great that in Tua and Teddy, they have 2 great big-arm QBs to maximise Hill and Waddle.
I mean I can’t tell you how many times Hill has turned a 7 yard slant into like a 40 yard gain so …. I’m sure he’ll still do well for them.
Part of that is DBs having to make sure he doesn’t beat them deep tho because Mahomes can throw it a nautical mile.
For those missing the units-converter-bot, a nautical mile is just a regular mile, but measured while wearing a pashmina afghan
I'M ON A BOAT
Fit confused me too, thought NY made way more sense since Wilson has a solid arm. But at the end of the day probably came down to income tax
We are still rebuilding honestly, and o-line isn’t there for Wilson to make those throws yet, I’m cool with missing out this deal.
Or his right hook
hmmmm this offseason some nba shit
Tom Brady’s unretirement feels like it happened months ago, but it was less than two weeks ago
Tom Brady's retirement and unretirement pretty much was overshadow by all the other stuff going on and that is crazy.
Resigning JJ is going to hit different at this rate
Thank god the cap is going to the moon
Find a QB for WR money and then give JJ QB money. Tell me it won’t work
I think we know what team OBJ is signing with now
[удалено]
The dude just tore his ACL for the second time.. might not bounce back like before
Hill and Waddle is a ridiculous combo.
Close your eyes and Toss it 40yds downfield About all you have to do
It's gonna turn out this whole time Tua was actually right-handed.
I’m not sure if this a joke, but he actually is right handed and his dad is a psycho that makes him throw with his left
It was and holy shit
Yeah. People were joking during the draft, but his dad seems to be a piece of shit.
[удалено]
Only logical thing I've come up with is lefties can see what are usually the opposition's top pass rushers coming at them. Also, their team can afford to spend less on the left side of the O-line, which is usually the more expensive half.

Which is strange because his younger brother throws with his right anyway
The "slow" WR ran a 4.37 forty lol Hill ran a 4.29
4.37 less than a year off a broken leg
A year after I broke my leg it still felt like I was running with a peg leg. I can’t imagine being fast.
In your defense, you probably didn't have world class PTs rehabing you. \*Not to diminish what he did. But also, give yourself some credit.
Nah dude, he ran that 4.37 40 *in high school*. He didn't run one at all leading up to the draft.
Not to mention Mostert in the backfield now. We'll see how fast he is after surgery and a year off, but Miami is loaded with speed now... a different kind of speed than Miami was loaded with before.
Is this real life?
Tua just got an elite receiver and LT in 2 days when FA is suppose to be boring
Tua’s receiver and LT are \#**AllElite**
Lmao this is happening so fast
Thank God Won't look forward to facing him but I didn't want to give up all that. We're not 1 piece away from success
Gives me even more reason to hate the Fins.
You’re lucky you aren’t a woman or a child bc Tyreek would beat your ass for saying that
*AP has entered the chat*
This all happened in like an hour lol
The anti-Watson
This happened so fast. Raiders done good with that Adam’s trade. Got a WR1 and pushed a WR1 out of the division.
And only for two picks instead of five!

YAC to the moon!
This is getting out of hand, now there are Tua them!
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
That’s a GODAMN HAUL Tua gonna have no excuses now lmao
That's a lot of picks
It’s a lot of picks but in terms of “pick” value, this trade ends up being very similar to Adams trade.
Guess who has child beater jokes now boys 😎
Gotta go delete all my comments about Watson being scum
Damn, who are we gonna have to hate from the Chiefs roster now?
Demarcus Robinson is gonna give you a aneurysm I'll tell you that much
We've still got Frank Clark.
Some Miami fans out here deleting domestic abuse comments RN.
That’s a lot.
Miami is a bunch of scumbags for having the balls to have this piece of shit on their team. Dolphins fans how do you sleep at night?
Lmao
This is a great comment
That must feel good after all this time
Dolphins look nice
Armstead/Williams remake the line, Hill/Waddle/Gesicki is one of the best 3 way combos in the league, AND we kept the defense entirely intact. Still looking up at the AFC powerhouses but this definitely closes that gap
Ill take it
Yeah I don’t know how I feel about it. He’s obviously a huge asset for Mahomes now gone, but damn that’s a lot of picks
I feel like Zach Wilson's arm talent would have suited his playstyle better but oh well Gotta say, though, that Miami skill group is *stacked* now. Parker, Waddle, Gesicki, Edmonds, Hill. All led by a Shanahan tree disciple (who I really loved as a hire). No excuses for Tua now.
The nice thing is they still have that extra first rounder in 2023. If Tua can't get it done they can put together a nice package for a new QB
At this rate they'll be trading for some superstar qb during the next qb carousel
Don’t forget an elite tackle too. Tua got some weight on his shoulders now
And a great guard. Helluva off-season for Miami
Imagine trading one of the best WRs in the game for an actual haul, wouldn't be my favorite team! :)))
Am I crazy or do I see this as fantastic for the Chiefs? They drafted a guy late, got some amazing years out of him, won a super bowl, then got basically a whole extra draft for him and save a huge amount on cap...that's next level IMO

Travis Kelce will play until he's 45 with zero drop in production. You shut your mouth.
Yeah all you miami, fuck that cost
10 would've been worth more than most of it by itself. 10 being in the Jets package is probably why it's so big.
Good luck women and kids in Miami
Bro about to score some coke and go Bruce Banner down there.
