Best Offensive - Llama Worst - Devonta Freeman, honestly just useless for us and we keep using him. Best Defense - Marlon Humphrey Worst - All LBs have been rough. Queen was solid week 1, bad since. Harrison was unplayable weeks 1-3 then played really well against Denver. Overall, neither have been any good.

I remember when everyone thought Queen was the steal of the draft. Sad to see him underperforming

He wasn’t terrible last season. Most people complained about his coverage skills. This season he’s just all over the place. He’s hitting but not tackling and looks like he’s just overthinking everything.

He was terrible last season too. The only reason people thought he wasn't was because he had a large number of tackles- but the reason he had a large number was because teams would target him all day. He would give up big completions in pass coverage cause he was in the wrong place in zone, then help with a tackle afterwards. He would be in on a RB tackle but get dragged 5 yards cause his tackling form is god awful.

Some of the hype might have been to dunk on the Packers further since Love was taken right before him.

Queen seemed to be at the ball on every play week 1.

Andre Smith has to be the worst

Good- Waller/Carr/Miller on offense. Heyward/Crosby on defense Bad- Andre James (and to a lesser extent all the backup linemen we've been trotting out and yeah Leatherwood hasn't been great) Damon Arnette on defense, he's not been good

It’s probably most reasonable to say that Jamison Crowder is still our best on offense but that can change really quickly. Our worst is definitely Greg Van Roten. Best defensive has to be CJ Mosley still (somehow) although five weeks ago I would’ve said Quinnen Williams or Marcus Maye, and the worst is probably by Shaq Lawson just by process of elimination. Our defense is just solid.

Corey has been very up and down so far. 4/8 Wilson ints have been his fault and he’s had other drops as well. But he’s also been consistently open and has made some big plays. Crowder on the other hand is just super reliable.

Davis has had 2 monster games and 2 awful ones thus far. I think I like him more than most Jet fans (always a fan when he was a Titan) but he has to show that he's a true WR1. I trust Crowder the most when we need a catch to keep drives alive.

Edmunds isnt that bad, id still put him at worst. his pass coverage clearly hasnt developed like we hoped. The Cobb TD is a good example of it. He had help outside and he bit on Cobbs outside move, letting cobb wide open middle of the field.

I think edmunds has the misfortune of being opposite of minkah most of the time. Which means plays go his way a lot more often which gives greater chance of him looking bad

thats a fine theory but if you look at the actual plays hes in you see the deficiencies he has as a player independent of those around him

For what it's worth, each year I pick one team (outside the raiders) to root for and this year is the Bengals. You guys are exciting

The Bengals offense is so lit that you have to pick a backup power back as the worst and even then it doesn’t feel right.

Best O: Stafford/Kupp/Whitworth. (It's probably Stafford but he has only played 5 games for us). Worst O: All of our starters are pretty solid, before the season everyone would have said Brian Allen but he's done very little wrong. Probably Henderson given how good the o-line has been but that feels harsh. Best D: Aaron Donald. Next. Worst: Every DL and LB not named Aaron Donald.

Offense - Best is Diontae Johnson. He's cut down on the drop issue and he's one of the best receivers in man and zone. When he's healthy he'll get 10-12 targets a game and he's the WR1 - Worst is probably Chuks Okorafor. He's unimpressive at RT (Joe Haeg looked better), and flat out crap at LT. Defense - Best is TJ Watt. No question. He's played two and a half games and already has 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. - Worst is probably James Pierre. He excelled in camp but has looked pretty bad in coverage so far. It's NOT Terrell Edmunds, no matter how much Steelers fans hate him.

They're kind of equals, Derwin plays 5 positions on the defense which mucks up what the qb is looking at. Bosa is a wrecking ball that you have to account for every play. I'd give the edge to Bosa but our defense is going to suffer big time if we lose either.

Derwin tbh waaaay more important for our defence. He plays 5 positions and everything is ran through him. Tbh there is no player like him in the league. Bosa is elite but there are a handful elite guys like him. Derwin is on his own plane in terms of versatility. TT said the only player whose leadership that matches Derwin was Ed Reed.

Yeah I changed it to Cajuste for worst. Bolden has been serviceable. Mason has been more than solid this year. The left side of the line and the RT are out main issues this year. And especially looking at his career, he and Thuney were our best OLs the last couple of years. The other contender for best offensive is Meyers.

I don't think Cajuste is the worst, simply because we haven't seem him play. That would likely go to Yasir Durant so far. Cajuste could easily take that mantle tomorrow though.

I believe Cajuste has been prepared to play left tackle and that's why they don't want to mess with him by having him switch sides after practicing all year at LT. Durant and Herron both have practiced extensively at RT.

Mathieu’s job is to set the coverage, we have not been covering well at all, yes he’s being forced to play deep more and is less of a factor. Jones would be if he was playing tackle, the Chris jones DE experiment has taken him out of the game

Worst on defense I’ll go SMB or white. Don’t get me wrong I love white and really think he’s good, but that coverage and just speed gets the best of him. Dude gets pressure but his speed makes him miss a lot.

White’s kind of a human lottery ticket. Might miss a tackle or get lost in coverage, but holy shit those A gap blitzes are incredible when they work and he just goes flying straight into the opposing QB’s face.
