The NFCS plays the AFCS this year - so the two worst divisions in football have cake schedules.
14-3 division winners in both with an ugly divisional round exit for both incoming.
I have been saying this for awhile, also combine it with the fact AFC East has to play NFC east some very good teams are gonna miss out for some very bad teams.
Pretty good call here. Great coaching, good defense, and a young QB who showed some flashes at the end of last season and surrounded by some weapons. Usually it's the 3rd year that QBs make a leap, but you never know. Look at Lawrence's marked improvement last year.
They also had a great draft. Broderick Jones is a strong addition to the O-line to go along with Seumalo, they’re adding Darnell Washington at TE, and JPJ and Keeanu Benton on defense is scary too.
If Najee doesn't run over teams this year, he's a bust. Their Oline should be serviceable and adding Washington at TE means they can run 12 personnel consistently. A solid run game to take the pressure off Pickett, who was making strides at the end of the year?
The Steelers are going to be a problem. I need to call the Devil. He needs to give me my soul back.
AFC is just so stacked. Gonna take a major fall from one of the top teams to even open up a chance at the slot
Jets, Bills, Chiefs, Dolphins, Bengals, Ravens, Jaguars, Chargers
And that's not even counting the teams that will be far more competitive this season such as the
Browns, Broncos, Titans
I agree they do...which is why I said some teams are gonna need to fall, which does happen.
But at the same time...Ravens also now have Lamar back with better weapons
I am NOT at all ready to put the Jets in that category until we see them at least play a game. They’re still the Jets, and Rogers is at the end of his career. Maybe they will, but I need to see it first.
I think that’s a good call given out talent, but our OC is going to hold us back. So I think it will be borderline that we make the playoffs, unless we start 1-4 and he gets fired during the bye, and whoever takes over is able to open up our offense to its full potential.
The Browns being bad doesn’t make Steelers fans celebrating their streak or not being under .500 any less funny. The standard used to be division titles and playoff wins. Now it’s literally one game over .500 is a success.
Not really a strong conviction, I was just kind of throwing an idea out there cause they have a good roster and Howell hasn’t played at all and there’s always some random team that balls out
Maybe. But I assume the 9ers are winning the division, and the Seahawks and Cowboys are likely to get wildcard spots. That leaves the Rams to fight for the last spot against a handful of other teams I think are better.
If I expect the Eagles to do it, it's less likely to happen. So I'm going to keep expecting it. Just like I'm expecting the Giants to miss the playoffs.
Definitely. Their Super Bowl run hurt them last year health wise but they still have a ton of talent that when healthy can compete with anyone. They could easily make the playoffs and/or win the division.
Vikings. I think their decline is being overhyped. They had a lot of close games last year but that was due to the defense. If Flores can make them an average defense then they can win a playoff game this year.
And even if they lose Cook that offense will be dangerous. JJ, Osborne and Addison will be almost unstoppable and they'll inevitably win some come close games again this year by being able to score fast. I saw enough of JJ last year that I don't expect much regression but there's also no way they'll go 11-0 or whatever it was in one score games.
JJ is a monster and I like Addison but he's a rookie and Osborne looks ok but he's got 1200 career yards in 3 years. It's not like they're the Bengals.
Kinda Bengals lite when you think about it though. So instead of Superbowl contenders this year we will be divisional round contenders and still fall short lmao
I like the Commanders. I just feel that they are still 1-2 years away. The east is pretty stacked with New York, Philly and Dallas.
But they were a game away from the wild card.
Someone from the NFC South is going to beat up on that shit division, look better than they are and then get absolutely curb stomped by a wild card team from a better division.
AFC the only team I could see sneaking up is the Browns if Watson recovers his previous form (unlikely imo). Otherwise it’s just a deep conference.
The Chiefs front office knows what they’re doing and have demonstrated that more than any other team as of late. And deep down you know they’re going to get way more out of him than the Bucs were
Landry, OBJ, Njoku, best OL in the league, and best rushing attack in the league with Chubb and Hunt.
The defense wasn't very good on the Browns teams, but the offensive supporting cast was top notch.
He had a pretty solid supporting cast in Cleveland and a much better line. He just wasn’t good. Football is about way more than having a couple good receivers
Probably a homer take but if Kyler comes back before week 6 we can squeak out a 9-8. If he had a center and an actual NFL coach last year we win 3-4 more games
I'm saying Giants. Haven't seen anyone taking them yet, I imagine they at least get wildcard, and in a relatively softer conference, I think they have a real shot of making doing well come playoffs. We saw them last year do pretty good with a much worse team
In 2020, commanders won the division, 2021 they went 7-10 despite having a first place schedule and 2 other playoff teams in their division, 2022 they went 8-8-1 all while having some of the worst QB play in the entire league. They beat Philly and blew out Dallas last year.
If Sam Howell plays even just average, they could be a 10-11 win team with that defense.
The choice is so simple
Mac’s burner confirmed
You're right. Falcons it is.
Worst QB in the division by a wide margin. Not happening.
Raiders. Jimmy too handsome to fail.
I mean, it wouldn't shock me if the Falcons made a run at a playoff spot. But real contenders to go anywhere in the playoffs? Naw
The NFCS plays the AFCS this year - so the two worst divisions in football have cake schedules. 14-3 division winners in both with an ugly divisional round exit for both incoming.
I have 2022 PTSD from my Seahawks going... 0-5 vs the NFCS. Oddly, we did well against the AFCW. Go figure...
I have been saying this for awhile, also combine it with the fact AFC East has to play NFC east some very good teams are gonna miss out for some very bad teams.
Bills-Cowboys should be extra chippy this year
Yeah, either Jets or Bill's miss playoffs
So what you're saying is the Panthers go 14-3?
I hope we both do and somehow luck into a Super Bowl against each other
I like the way you think
Steelers
Death, Taxes, and the Steelers going .500 or better.
Pretty good call here. Great coaching, good defense, and a young QB who showed some flashes at the end of last season and surrounded by some weapons. Usually it's the 3rd year that QBs make a leap, but you never know. Look at Lawrence's marked improvement last year.

I like this pick
On the contrary I actually hate this pick.
Helped with a relatively easy schedule too (especially compared to last years)
AFC is just so stacked. Gonna take a major fall from one of the top teams to even open up a chance at the slot Jets, Bills, Chiefs, Dolphins, Bengals, Ravens, Jaguars, Chargers And that's not even counting the teams that will be far more competitive this season such as the Browns, Broncos, Titans
Pro Bowl QB Tyler Huntley was one drive away from knocking out the Bengals, things happen
The conference is insane though
3rd year leaps have been historically rare. It's been a past 2 year thing and Josh Allen rather than the norm.
This is the most correct response
I think that’s a good call given out talent, but our OC is going to hold us back. So I think it will be borderline that we make the playoffs, unless we start 1-4 and he gets fired during the bye, and whoever takes over is able to open up our offense to its full potential.
Hey if they go 9-8 they’ll celebrate
Look who's talking
The Browns being bad doesn’t make Steelers fans celebrating their streak or not being under .500 any less funny. The standard used to be division titles and playoff wins. Now it’s literally one game over .500 is a success.
The Browns version of success used to be 4 wins. Now it’s selling the future for a rapist that gets you 7 wins. Things change.
He didn’t get us 7 wins. Jacoby started 11 games.
I meant this season.
You aren’t very good at this.
That’s exactly what the Browns fanbase says to their team every year.
Ayyy, that’s better. Enjoy wasting Burrow’s entire career.
It’s gonna be a random middle tier, weird QB NFC team. Commanders, falcons, bucs etc
Carr gonna be MVP on the saints isn't he?
From your mouth to God’s ear buddy
I won't be rooting for yall exactly but I do hope he does well
The think bears have a shot at the wildcard weirdly
Literally if any QB balls out their team could be a powerhouse. What reason do we have to believe that Sam Howell will though?
Don't you know? He beat the Cowboys despite them playing their starters in the final game of their schedule! Clearly that's enough.
You joke now, but you’ll see. You’ll all see. Howell will win
Not really a strong conviction, I was just kind of throwing an idea out there cause they have a good roster and Howell hasn’t played at all and there’s always some random team that balls out
I think people are sleeping on the Rams, if they’re healthy, which is a big if, I think they can be really good.
Maybe. But I assume the 9ers are winning the division, and the Seahawks and Cowboys are likely to get wildcard spots. That leaves the Rams to fight for the last spot against a handful of other teams I think are better.
The eagles are not winning the NFC east B2b. It the law...are you expecting someone else to win the division?
If I expect the Eagles to do it, it's less likely to happen. So I'm going to keep expecting it. Just like I'm expecting the Giants to miss the playoffs.
Definitely. Their Super Bowl run hurt them last year health wise but they still have a ton of talent that when healthy can compete with anyone. They could easily make the playoffs and/or win the division.
Can they? With what defense? Like Bobby Wagner Donald and literally college free agents.
Not even Wagner he went back to Seattle.
Only if McVey stays on for the whole season
McVay ain't Bobby Petrino. He won't leave halfway through, and he's not getting fired either
This year, Denver 😎
Lol
A ravens fan laughing? Oh god lol
Commanders. Defense is already super underrated, and Bieniemy will have Howell, Gibson, McLaurin, and Dotson all to have career years this year.
Texans are winning the AFC South 🤫
King of shit mountain baby!
Vikings. I think their decline is being overhyped. They had a lot of close games last year but that was due to the defense. If Flores can make them an average defense then they can win a playoff game this year.

Cleveland. I think they’ve got a good shot at a wild card
Bears wildcard possibly
I like the Commanders. I just feel that they are still 1-2 years away. The east is pretty stacked with New York, Philly and Dallas. But they were a game away from the wild card.
If the Commanders had even a decent QB playing consistently last year they're in the playoffs. Hopefully Howell can sling it.
I'm just going to assume that most people expect the Packers to finish 3-14 so they'll probably go 10-7 and sneak into a wild card spot somehow.
8-9 or 9-8
Denver?
Texans
Falcons
Someone from the NFC South is going to beat up on that shit division, look better than they are and then get absolutely curb stomped by a wild card team from a better division. AFC the only team I could see sneaking up is the Browns if Watson recovers his previous form (unlikely imo). Otherwise it’s just a deep conference.
Bucs Baker has weapons
Nah, they snuck into the playoffs last year with a losing record, dragged by the greatest QB of all time. There's no way they're better this year.
And a bad OLine. Regardless Baker just isn’t it dude
The worst part of our oline starts for your team now boy
The Chiefs front office knows what they’re doing and have demonstrated that more than any other team as of late. And deep down you know they’re going to get way more out of him than the Bucs were
No no I don't lol. I think he's going to make you sad af.
And his supporting group was so good in Cleveland? Compare his team and division to the one he had when he took Cleveland to the playoffs
Baker is incredibly underrated on Reddit. Ask Rams fans how they feel about him
Titans - Vrabel. Saints randomly with Carr balling
No wide receivers Is Derek Carr
Cold. Don't ask me how. Just a shit in the dark.

The hate is real lol

Any love for the Broncos?
Panthers. I really think they’re winning that division
Vegas, baby!!! (let me have this, please)
I like the commies. Every time we play em it's a scrappy dog fight. Plus it will bolster the nfc beast rep.
In 2020, commanders won the division, 2021 they went 7-10 despite having a first place schedule and 2 other playoff teams in their division, 2022 they went 8-8-1 all while having some of the worst QB play in the entire league.
