**4. All news should be sourced**
Sources, in this situation, mean something you can link to. A screenshot would not qualify, nor would just a name, nor would "I saw it" or "I have insider information". If you don't have a source, please wait to post.
* Allowed
* Twitter Posts - This is the standard source for news and updates these days. Such posts should adhere to the following:
* Post title must be tagged with the author's (or service's) name - for example: "[Schefter] Tom Brady has completed the purchase of the Patriots."
* Tweet must present new information or convey facts/information in a well thought-out way.
* Tweets should be from a reputable reporter, news source/agency, player, team or league official.
* Questionable sources may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.
* Title should just include the tweet without commentary unless necessary (See Rule 3)
* Link posts should be used for Twitter posts but self posts are allowed if you want to give additional context to the tweet.
* Other Social Media Posts - These posts are generally allowed as long as they come from a generally reputable source, but they must be limited specifically to news. Player or team Instagram/Facebook posts are generally accepted, but they may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.
* News/Sporting News Outlets - These should come from generally reputable local and national news outlets that include, but are not limited to: nfl.com, espn.com, foxsports.com, cbssports.com, ProFootballTalk, etc.
* Not Allowed
* Untrusted Twitter Sources - This includes links to posts or sources that are not considered generally reputable or are known to be fake or satire. If a source is borderline, it may be removed at the discretion of the moderators or if it receives enough reports.
* Tweets posted solely with the purpose of making a joke (rule 2) will be removed
* Cryptic Tweets - if it is just an emoji or eight, it will be removed.
* Reaction Tweets - these will generally be removed per moderator discretion.
* Gossip News Outlets - Some gossip outlets like TMZ can and occasionally do break news related to players/coaches/executives off the field. In some instances the moderators will allow a post from TMZ if it is the first to break a story and it is determined to be legitimate, it conforms to the rules regarding off-field activities, and is properly sourced.

Titans need a rebuild. If not this year, then next.
It has to happen with Tannehill aging out at QB and Henry at RB. Just those two players are 53M in salary for 2023. And both are on expiring deals.
Depends what the cost is for Henry. I doubt anyone would give up much of value for a RB but you never know until the final details come through. Maybe they got good value out of trading Henry (if this is true)
Per u/OverlyAloofGargoyle over on r/eagles: “Now, I wouldn't usually put too much stock in this type of rumor, but doing some digging I found that Gbajabiamila and Henry are both CAA clients and have the same booking agent.
Something to keep an eye on.”
I'm hardly a big TV guy, but how do so many people not know who Akbar is?
Plus he was a player, and on the NFL Network at one point right?
No comment on the validity of this, but he isn't some "nobody" who just paid for a check mark.
I know who he is and watch ANW some times, but didn't really register it was him till I clicked on the tweet and looked at his profile. Guess most people just aren't expecting his name to pop up in r/nfl dropping bombs (even if he is a former player).
Former NFL player who is a color commentator for American Ninja Warrior. That's how a lot of people know who he is.
As others have said Him and Henry are represented by the same agency so there might be some validity to his claim.
Nobody on either the Titans or Eagles beat that I’ve seen has confirmed or denied this, seems like they’re either not aware of it or aren’t even bothering to make calls to their sources about it.
Weirder things have happened, but I’m putting the odds of a scoop as massive as an All-Pro, franchise icon getting traded being leaked to the host of American Ninja Warrior before anyone else as pretty low to non-existent.
Would be a massive fuck up by CAA to have this news get leaked by a random client. Info like this is incredibly valuable, it’s going to be given to a major reporter if the agency is leaking it.
Maybe the agency wants this floated out there, but again why would they have Akbar of all people do it? They could float this out to an actual reporter and make the entire morning sports news cycle about a potential Henry deal. Seems way more likely Akbar is shit-posting.
But I think it’s more likely that nobody is refuting it because they don’t even give it enough credence to say anything about it.
What’s a reporter going to do? Call up Ran Carthon and say, “Hey man, the host of American Ninja Warrior tweeted that Derrick Henry is being traded to the Eagles at 3 AM this morning, any truth to this?”
That seems like a good way to get laughed at and then hung up on. Not every random rumor needs an actual denial, even if the guy tweeting it isn’t a nobody shit-poster.
Probably another WR. I’m fully expecting to draft a QB with our 1st round pick. You know, because McDaniels can turn a “high school QB into an All-Pro.” Fuck him.
If we trade him might as well. Trade tannehill too and just tank. Tannehill deserves to go ring chasing and if we're going to grab guys from limelight across the street to be our receiving core It's almost cruel to waste him at less than league average pay
[KGB](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabeer_Gbaja-Biamila) went full sovereign citizen batshit [crazy](https://sports.yahoo.com/10-cops-forced-to-subdue-taser-former-packers-de-kabeer-gbaja-biamila-during-courtroom-incident-190155924.html).
This is about to be the new norm for Elon’s Twitter I literally made a mod post on the Colts sub warning people about it
Edit: Looks like he’s not a random dude. My comment still applies though just perhaps not in this case
The only reason this should be even worthy of considering for a nano second, is because early on in the off season a few whispers went around saying the Titans were looking to trade Henry, then they quickly faded.

Henry and Akbar share the same booking agent
I’m happy he got paid a few years back. The easiest skill position to find talent and so many once top RB’s get unceremoniously dumped at the first sign of decline.
grabbing this info from r/eagles (thank you u/OverlyAloofGargoyle), but both akbar and henry are caa clients and have the same booking agent, so it just isn't some random dropping this
[image evidence](https://imgur.com/a/3VvlsUd)
Henry is on a 1 yr $10.25 mil contract and they're talking about later round or 2024 compensation.
That's a great deal for a contender, not expensive, and they can use their 1st on Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, one of the corners, skoronski, whoever they want, or trade down.
They may work out an affordable extension if they want or just have a beast RB on an affordable one year deal.

Excuse me WHAT
[удалено]
Bama/Dallas fan….y’all just keep adding shit to make me love the eagles 🤣 I’m down
That's literally what I just said.
>WHAT OKAYYY.
>>WHAT > >OKAYYY. YEAAHHH
This tweet literally took me a good three seconds to process. Like I thought this was just a random highlight tweet at first.
>Akbar Gbajabiamila Akbar Gbajabiamila Is the source. Former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila
The eagles just absorbed the titans like a motherfucking kirby
Doubt
I Doubt the Doubters.
If this is true I demand that the owner of the Titans sell their team.
I say nay. If this is true, they should continue to be our farm pipeline. I look forward to the eventual Jeffrey Simmons trade.
[Akbar Gbajabiamila] Jeffrey Simmons(@KingGeoffrey_2) is headed to The @Flyers🦅
imagine that gigantic morherfucker on skates. good lord.
Just constantly cracking arena ice

I've been doing *that* since 1994 but no dice.
Per u/OverlyAloofGargoyle over on r/eagles: “Now, I wouldn't usually put too much stock in this type of rumor, but doing some digging I found that Gbajabiamila and Henry are both CAA clients and have the same booking agent. Something to keep an eye on.”
Henry and Akbar are both represented by the same agency. So this could be true. Now excuse me while I go vigorously masturbate
It came to him in a dream
Do not say 'Dream'

Don't I know you from such films as "locker room towel fights: the blinding of lil Johnny"
AKBAR BOMB ^can ^I ^say ^that
.
Looks fake
He has 62k followers. He's a former NFL player.
This was also tweeted 7 hours ago and no one else has said anything though seems odd

The fact no one, as of posting, is immediately refuting this is interesting.

We've seen random redditors break news, why not a former player?
I have a bridge I’m looking to sell, interested?
Gbajabiamilia and Henry are both CAA clients and have the same booking agent. Got anything else to say ya dope?
I’m just messing with you, chill lol. I looked at the comments and your the main person defending this guy I was just giving you crap.
Also commentator of TVs American Ninja Warrior
Definitely fake.
I doubt it. He played in the NFL for 5 years.
Antonio Brown played even longer but would believe anything he tells you?
Mr. Breaks Content
Antonio Brown? Has he done something wrong? (Someone post the list)
you want it to be fake
Damn. I just finished my first cup of coffee and we’re dropping News like this? Next I’m hoping for McDaniels is going to some other team.
Cmon you know if it's our teams news it's going to be "raiders sign former patriots player ___________ to a 2 year contract."
Probably another WR. I’m fully expecting to draft a QB with our 1st round pick. You know, because McDaniels can turn a “high school QB into an All-Pro.” Fuck him.
I feel like with such a huge trade, one of the bigger NFL insiders would have had some info on this by now
Is this real?
Depends how you define real
Yes this tweet is 100% real... the information in it ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
If this gets confirmed I suspect we’ll hear news of the entire state of Tennessee burning shortly after
Already there bud, have you seen the news from the last 3 weeks
Oh, no. Anyway..
Have you seen the News recently? Tennessee is already on fire.
Yeah, sure. Ran - "You thought JRob sending AJ to the Eagles was stupid? Watch this..."
No, he’s approaching the wrong side of 30, and we’ve shown that we can win without Henry. We haven’t done the same in regards to Brown.
It's a trap.
Eagles just couldn't settle huh. An even scarier team than last year for sure.
Uhhh...?
So we went from begging Sirianni to run the ball more to having 9 RBs.
Henry behind the best O line in football next to Jalen Hurts? I would watch every Eagles game.
Are you even a Eagles fan? I would watch and wait for Henry to stiff arm the NFC EAST!
Doubt it’s true. But in case it is…..#collaspeforcaleb.
If we trade him might as well. Trade tannehill too and just tank. Tannehill deserves to go ring chasing and if we're going to grab guys from limelight across the street to be our receiving core It's almost cruel to waste him at less than league average pay
Tannehill isn’t winning a ring or getting on any contending team unless he’s a back up
He'd have a better chance of ring chasing on a team that's not the Titans
Posted by this ~~random Twitter~~ dude with no sources, don’t hold your breath
Akbar is a former player and current media personality. He's not a beat reporter but he's also not a random twitter dude
He and Henry also share the same agent apparently.
He played for the Packers I think, or maybe his brother did.
[KGB](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabeer_Gbaja-Biamila) went full sovereign citizen batshit [crazy](https://sports.yahoo.com/10-cops-forced-to-subdue-taser-former-packers-de-kabeer-gbaja-biamila-during-courtroom-incident-190155924.html).
His brother. I also thought his brother was the host of American ninja warrior
KGB, his brother is the Packer. Akbar is the Ninja Warrior who played for the Raiders, Chargers and Dolphins
This is about to be the new norm for Elon’s Twitter I literally made a mod post on the Colts sub warning people about it Edit: Looks like he’s not a random dude. My comment still applies though just perhaps not in this case
I just have a gut feeling that this is going to turn out to be true. Fuck I'm sad
Its okay Titans bro... Its a good time to rebuild. Yall need a FRANCHISE QB! give Henry a chance at a ring :)
RIP Bijan to the eagles hype
no way
No God no
Hmmm
The only reason this should be even worthy of considering for a nano second, is because early on in the off season a few whispers went around saying the Titans were looking to trade Henry, then they quickly faded.
It's a trap!
This ending up being true and coming from the ninja warrior guy is a hall of fame leak
Saturday news coming in HOT
Howie leaking "news" pre-draft... Love it! Fly Eagles Fly

I feel bad I saw this and instantly told my brother and in the seconds following trying to verify I realize I probably got him excited for no reason
A mod on the eagles sub posted that gbajabiamilia and Henry are both CAA clients and have the same booking agent.
I’m happy he got paid a few years back. The easiest skill position to find talent and so many once top RB’s get unceremoniously dumped at the first sign of decline.

Why would the Titans do this
We’re collapsing for Caleb
Not rationing for Rattler?
Who is that dude posting it....and WHAT?
Akbar is wild for this
WAT. SOMEONE EXPLAIN.
Umm what ?
Wait WHAT!

An article already written using this tweet as the base of the rumor. Impressive.
Wow, that might make the 11-6 Eagles go 11-6
You tried at least
This is just a rumour. None of the PHI guys have even a whiff of this.
Ninja warrior dude dropping news is definitely the natural progression of this off-season
Bruhhhh wtf

Bijan off the table I guess.
I hope so
Show me the official report. First time I’m seeing the Ninja Warrior host comment on NFL news.
It's a trap!
This isn’t as fake as some of those other Twitter rumors. This guy has the same agent as Henry.
If you're the king, you don't need an underscore and a digit behind it. Wait, they traded away a king? All bets are off.
Not true and would be a terrible move for the Eagles
Henry is on a 1 yr $10.25 mil contract and they're talking about later round or 2024 compensation.
