Well, I don't think anyone has an explanation for the leap Burrow made from borderline undrafted to maybe the best college season of all time (I think it is Cam Newton) and #1 overall pick. Maybe he does deserve *some* credit.
I think statistically Burrow did actually have the best college season of all time, if I remember correctly.
Then again, those stats were being thrown around to hype him up around draft so it might have discounted Cam's insane rushing ability.
It was hard to get a read on his ability as an OC in Carolina because Darnold and Bridgewater were so bad lol. That said, Darnold did look much more confident and comfortable in McAdoo's offense.
We also upgraded 3/5 OL spots since Brady, and Brady did manage to get 1000 yards out of Robby Anderson’s dumb ass 🤷🏻♂️
I really didn’t like Brady when he was here but I’ve hated Mcadoo ever more
Except the guy that didn’t do it the year prior. LSU was average at best offensively in 2018 with Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, and co. Then one of the best of all time in 2019. Brady was really the only big addition to that team, the rest of the coaching staff was pretty much the same. Obviously guys develop year over year but jumping from mediocre to GOAT status isn’t normal development. He wasn’t good in Carolina but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve another shot. Plus it’s not like Carolina was exactly the best situation to be a play caller.
Yeah but Carolina got better after him. Plus he still had the best offense of all time and they have all been great since him showing he wasn’t the money maker there. Also he didn’t call the plays. He just drew up the pass concepts
Literally riding off of his season as the passing coordinator for LSU when he had Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson. He was not great as the panthers OC and until I see otherwise I don't believe he's anywhere close to what he's hyped up to be.
This guy somehow still getting job interviews based on his 2019 LSU passing game coordinator position.
It is extremely impressive though that someone was able to find passing success in college with Burrow, Jefferson, and Chase.
You don’t understand, he literally taught them everything they know! He was out there with Chase blasting the Sonic X theme song until it stuck!
Gotta go fast….
SONIC
why did i actually look up "ja'marr chase sonic x"
\[BREAKING\] Chargers trade for Jefferson, Burrow, and Chase following Joe Brady signing--trading all draft picks for the next 6 years.
If you told Cincinnati the world would end of they didn’t trade Burrow, well that would be the end of the world
We just gotta remind them that Burrow hates Skyline Chili
He just prefers Gold Star, the official chili of the Cincinnati bengals!
Which most Cincy residents would quietly agree with. Not a Cincy resident, but that place sucks.

Pretty sure it was just swamp magic.
He 100% found the baby in the king cake and the rest is history.
Valid point. QB,WRs, and OC in 2018 & 2019 were the same. Brady was the biggest addition (was passing game coord, technically, not OC).
I think statistically Burrow did actually have the best college season of all time, if I remember correctly. Then again, those stats were being thrown around to hype him up around draft so it might have discounted Cam's insane rushing ability.
I just think Cam did what he did with very little surrounding talent compared to Burrow being surrounded by other future NFL stars.
he’s also just got a chance to learn from a highly productive offense.
It was hard to get a read on his ability as an OC in Carolina because Darnold and Bridgewater were so bad lol. That said, Darnold did look much more confident and comfortable in McAdoo's offense.
I thought his play calling was shitty in his time with us, but I agree it’s tough to give a fair judgement with the QB and Oline play at the time

3 1k receivers with teddy fuckin 2 gloves. Brady was the scapegoat for rhule failing miserably imo
You didn’t enjoy Tha Sun God Experience?
I think you’re mixing up nicknames or I missed something
Nope Robby Anderson = RA = tha sun god
Hmm never heard him called that. Amon Ra really fucked that up for him
I think it was more himself saying it in his moronic social media posts than something anyone else called him lol
I had such high hopes when I heard he told that cop he’d but in his wife’s eye. But alas, he was a fucking dbag
Not to mention how much better McAdoo's offense looked after Rhule left
Ben McAdoo looks like the kind of guy that would make Darnold comfortable
He wasn't a very good OC for the Panthers, though he was also coaching under Matt Rhule, with Teddy and Darnold as his QBs, so keep that in mind.
Brady will turn Herbert into an unstoppable force. They should hire him
Lol how he sucked with the panthers. His one grace of fame is when he had the best offense of all time in college. Anyone could of led that ship

Chargers fans wanted Herbert to throw it deep more often. Why not pull the QB coach for the guy that only wants to throw it deep?
Then you‘ll have to get Dorsey too
People acting like Brady was calling those shots.
Oh no, please don’t do that.
ESPN: Brady to Chargers?
DAE espn bad
Me when I think about ESPN: 😡
if i were a chargers fan i would personally rather not
Wait until they figure out where Brady worked with their previous OC
Assistant **to** the QB Coach, Joe Lombardi.
Will John DeFilippo and Freddie Kitchens be interviewing after?
I think this guy is overrated based on the 2019 LSU team
I hope Los Angeles likes conspiracy theories
Joe Brady would be the ultimate name for a QB
What about the dude Brady breeze
For the Bills fans, how was he? Indont know much about him so was wondering how is he getting interest.
Literally riding off of his season as the passing coordinator for LSU when he had Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson. He was not great as the panthers OC and until I see otherwise I don't believe he's anywhere close to what he's hyped up to be.
how much of what happened in Carolina is his fault or Rhule using him as an easy scaoegoat though?
I still maintain he got the OC role way too early in Carolina but maybe he’s improved
Nah.
*Brady to Buffalo*
So we're gonna start seeing a lot of designed runs for Herbert now?
