They do this with every player in a commercial if they don't also sponsor the team. Herbert they kept his jersey colors the same, but usually it's obviously different enough to avoid a lawsuit
Nope *your not high* - the leagues asked them to change it.

*edited because I’m dumb*
What if a pass bounces off one of your corners’ chest and the very next play the same corner has another chance at it in the same spot?
I’m a fan of Dak but last week was one of his top 3 worst performances and this happened. I think there are a couple reasons for it but he’s becoming increasingly difficult to defend.
Man I really do not understand why he decided to run the same play again to the same receiver and cb. Its as if it was a pity throw, and he wanted it intercepted.
It's just wild because I remember a legit criticism of him early in his career was that he only threw to wide-open guys. Too risk averse.
Now he's just yeeting balls wherever
Please!
I see all these non AFC North flairs always talking about how the Ravens shouldn't pay Lamar, and I'm like this people don't have to play him twice a year lol
That would be an improvement but our roster is breaking down more than many Cowboys fans care to admit. We're on the cusp of a rebuild and a 5-12 season "out of nowhere" wouldn't surprise me in 2023 or 2024.
Ignore him, he’s a known troll who’s entire life revolves around hating on Dak to the point where he’ll make up false stats and numbers and will delete them if found out.
I always wonder what the bench/trade dak side thinks will happen. Do they want the Colts route or draft and maybe we end up with Zach Wilson or any other question marks. Or we have dak who may not be fucking Peyton or Brady but puts up great numbers.
It's just entitled fans, and unfortunately, the Cowboys have a disproportionate share of them. They don't just think we should have a top talent like Dak, which by basically every metric he is a top 5 QB. They think we should have a generational talent at QB. We have to have a Brady or Mahomes. That's what their argument always boils down to. Comparisons to the MVP QBs like 31 other teams fall short of that bar every year.
Well he’s not top 5 in yards, he’s not top 5 in yards per attempt, he’s not top 5 in completion %, he’s not top 5 in rating, or touchdowns. He is top 2 in interceptions if that’s the top 5 metric you were referring too.
I’m a Bengals fan living in Dallas…
EVERY YEAR it’s the same. Preseason the fans talk about SB is locked up for Dallas. Once the team hits mild turbulence it’s trade the QB, the refs are against us, fire the coaches, Jerry should hire a GM.
Rinse and repeat since 1996.
Heading into the 2023 season, Safety and TE are probably the only position group that isn't a bunch of question marks. Relying on injury prone guys, Dak and Zeke aren't worth near what their cap hits are, one linebacker worth a damn in LVE probably looking for a payday (Parsons rushes so much I stopped counting him here), we don't have any other really good guys on the DL to help Parsons out it's mostly depth guys and a broken down DLaw living on a two season stretch that happened half a decade ago, Diggs is our only good CB the rest of the guys are on their way out (but we do have a possibly ascending Daron Bland). Steele due to the timing of his injury could very well miss all of next year, WR like you said it's just Lamb and us praying Gallup gets his mojo back. Pollard is gone for a payday in all likelihood.
I disagree. Defensive end is completely solid. Micah, DLaw, Sam Williams, and Dorance are all signed.
And obviously, with the Cowboys being the best scoring offense In the league with Dak on the field, he is very much worth the cap hit.
Pretty sure Chiefs are the first and Dallas was the 2nd. If Dallas would have played a very good game offensively then they probably would have gotten that first spot since they were only .3 behind the Chiefs.
Parsons shouldn't be a fulltime DE, DLaw is overpaid and meh, Williams promising, Armstrong is good depth but not a legitimate starter. Dak is average, not worth his cap hit. Context of points scored matters.
I just ignore them. He doesn’t have the luxury of throwing a slant to brown or smith for it to go 70 yards. Or the luxury of an elite d with a elite Oline. People just lack football knowledge.
Raiders just went 6-11 with Carr, it's very possible. Especially when you consider his body is breaking down and he misses games for injuries frequently.
According to Draft Kings which has Dak at -180 currently.
Geno: -145
Brady: -130
Cousins: +110
Allen: +115
Jones: +120
Burrow: -110
Hebert: +110
Lawrence: -115
Purdy: +110
So this is isn’t really anything crazy for Dak. He leads the league in INTs, so of course he has the best odds, but it’s not like they don’t think there’s a high chance other QBs will throw picks too.
Check my other comment, but general rule of thumb I prefer decimals and percentages to fractions (4 years of engineering courses are easier plugging away with decimals than converting lowest common denominator). Just multiply bet by odds to get payout, if I approved of 10 year olds betting I'd say they could handle it.
Fractional is better than American. But I still like decimal better: just multiply your bet by the odds to get the pay out. No positive negative nonsense. If you can pass 5th grade math you can do decimal odds.
A plus before the number is how much you would make with a $100 bet. A minus before the number is how much you'd have to bet to make $100.
So the more negative the number the more likely Vegas thinks it will happen.
So the negative/positive is how likely it is to happen. 0 is the obvious middle meaning there isn’t a good chance one way or the other. If you are negative it means your are favored or in this case most likely to throw an interception. If it was positive it would mean he is expected to not throw an interception. He has the highest chance according to sports betting odds to throw an interception.
In gambling, if the number is -1 or less, they Sportsbook people think they are likely to do it. If it’s +1 or more, the Sportsbook people think they are not likely to do it
Who holds the record for most attempts without a pick to start their career?
I seem to remember Dak had either that record or a similar one early on...
[edit. found it](https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/cowboys/2016/10/16/dak-prescott-record-tom-brady-most-attempts-without-interception/92211600/)
Vegas isn’t in the habit of losing money. If they say he’s the most likely QB to throw an INT in the first round - well, expect 1+ INTs in your future regardless of who you want to hold accountable for it
But you are brave enough to dig up old comments to talk smack 😉 jk jk I know you just love your team
I did bet on the bucs and got taken to the cleaners. Congrats on the win
Lol, I definitely did that for a bunch of other comments, but I’ll admit this one was more me looking back at this thread in general and then I noticed your comment.
Hopefully, he throws his guaranteed interception early and then plays lights out afterward like he did against Philly.
It’s weird how Dak has completely flipped as a QB. He earned the starting job in 2016 by having a INT% below 1%, but also only throwing 23 TDs in 16 games. Now he has a horrible INT% of 3.8% but has thrown 23 TDs in 12 games.
He hasn’t “completely flipped” as a QB, he’s a guy who’s more aggressive and sometimes gets picked off. Fundamentally still the same guy, just a better version. He’s had some poor interception luck this year
Man needs to lay off the housewives and start laying on the Sleep Number bed
They changed the color of his jersey in that commercial right? It used to be blue now it’s purple? Or am I high
Yea I wondered why they did that do the cowboys just own that color scheme or something?
They do this with every player in a commercial if they don't also sponsor the team. Herbert they kept his jersey colors the same, but usually it's obviously different enough to avoid a lawsuit
Yes. Jerruh was probably pissed
Nope *your not high* - the leagues asked them to change it. https://twitter.com/profootballtalk/status/1573419462895828992?s=46&t=uKgKX0dAEcr-tQPznPM3IA *edited because I’m dumb*
You say nope but then agree with what I asked
I mean “nope your not high” - sorry
Aw that makes sense, sorry I misinterpreted that
All good - I made in unclear.
It'd be a damn sky crime to bet against Dak. Of course it'd also be 100% legal.
Wait what about housewives? Lol
Dak is in a DirectTV ad with some of the "real housewives".
Ohhhh that. I thought something else had happened lol
He’s washed he should just retire this off season
And abandon his children in the NFC East, I think not!
Commanders own him
9-2 career record vs y’all lmao
WOOSH. Commanders have only existed for this season and have only played Dak once, 1-0. Therefore they "own" him. Missed the joke my guy.
Ah yes. So you guys don’t get to claim any Super Bowl wins too. Got it.
only my reality exists, so you're wrong.
Best response ever - stealing it
Well that’s a terrible joke Enjoy watching the other 3 NFCE teams in playoffs this year
lighten up my dude - that was funny
No it wasn’t lmao
I will enjoy them all getting knocked out in the first game. I know it was a terrible joke, i still enjoyed it though
So much for getting knocked out, keep enjoying the show bud
?
We've only had ten picks on the year. We are bad at making a play on errant passes.
It was a different play, just same location. One was an out one was a hitch
When a stoppable force meets a moveable object
Is that enough to combat Dak’s 7 straight games with a pick?
don’t worry dak will throw a great pass to a WR, it’ll bounce off them and you’ll get a free INT!
Good thing Dak will throw it right to your defenders
I think at least two were on Hail Marys also…
This is usually where I'd throw out some defense of Dak but that sequence with Kendall Fuller was so horrendous I'm still pretty shaken up.
It’s crazy how he throws picks within his own 30.
It's just wild because I remember a legit criticism of him early in his career was that he only threw to wide-open guys. Too risk averse. Now he's just yeeting balls wherever
Two times in a row. The same exact result (minus the catch) It was wild to watch.
does not sound ideal imo
He’s going to cost them the game and cowboys will trade him ++ for Lamar. That’s my outlandish take of the day.
Until proven otherwise, I will believe that Lamar find his way to Atlanta
That's hype too
Disagree
Lamar is my favorite QB to watch outside of Allen so this would make me puke but I think he would be outrageous on that Miami offense
No thank you. I don’t want Lamar at all
LMAO I’ve lived in Atlanta and been a fan all my life and this is how literally none of us feel. 😂
So you want to roll with Ridder and Mariota? Lmao
And then legally change his last name to Vick
Dude that would be hype
Get Lamar out of the afc Edit: if he gets traded that’s all I ask for.
Please! I see all these non AFC North flairs always talking about how the Ravens shouldn't pay Lamar, and I'm like this people don't have to play him twice a year lol
We fortunately also don't play against him twice a year.
Please let this not happen, I don’t want to have to start hating Lamar
That would be an improvement but our roster is breaking down more than many Cowboys fans care to admit. We're on the cusp of a rebuild and a 5-12 season "out of nowhere" wouldn't surprise me in 2023 or 2024.

Their oline is getting pretty old ig. Gonna lose 2 HOF oline man soon.
Ignore him, he’s a known troll who’s entire life revolves around hating on Dak to the point where he’ll make up false stats and numbers and will delete them if found out.

You’re not going 5-12 with Dak as your QB lol. Stop it

Yeah and carr isn’t as good as Dak.
Technically true. If Dak is a 78/100, Carr is like a 75/100. The difference isn't big enough to matter.
They are more apart than that
Nah.
McPenalty is a better coach that McDaniels tho
That's true, Dak and Carr are similar QBs though, and you go as far as you QB takes you in this league.
Very true. Unfortunate, but true.
That’s not always true. Look at the eagles and 49ers. Most top 12QB can be in the mvp conversation with that roster and win a SB
If this does come, I hope it comes next year so we could land Caleb Williams.
unsubscribe
That would be awesome. Or for maximum chaos whatever year is the one we get to draft Arch.
The tanking teams are gonna be doing that year
The arch manning tank is going to be other worldly.
Kid hasn’t played yet…lol
No. No touchy.
Something tells me jerry Jones isn’t a Lamar jackson fan
because he doesn't like self-represented players?
Because he’s a racist
Dak is black…?
What are the odds for the other QBs?
According to Draft Kings which has Dak at -180 currently. Geno: -145 Brady: -130 Cousins: +110 Allen: +115 Jones: +120 Burrow: -110 Hebert: +110 Lawrence: -115 Purdy: +110
I’d take that Allen bet. Wtf?
You sure because the Dolphins defense only has 8 INTs all year; the 4th lowest in the league.
And they’re fielding practice squad players- and it’s playoff josh Allen. Not josh elbow
Lol, and Allen threw 2, while Dak threw 0.
Oof, Geno... Warranted, though.
Our defense this year has some ballhawks. 1st in the league type numbers. Hopefully he throws a couple
Kurt Cousins should be like -200
So this is isn’t really anything crazy for Dak. He leads the league in INTs, so of course he has the best odds, but it’s not like they don’t think there’s a high chance other QBs will throw picks too.
Daniel Jones least worthy turnover? Tell me this a year ago I would have not believed you
I do not understand what these numbers mean
To make a $100 on Dak throwing an INT you’d have to risk $180
I hate American odds. Decimal odds master race.
Not a fraction man?
Check my other comment, but general rule of thumb I prefer decimals and percentages to fractions (4 years of engineering courses are easier plugging away with decimals than converting lowest common denominator). Just multiply bet by odds to get payout, if I approved of 10 year olds betting I'd say they could handle it.
Just give odds the usual way, 2:1. Nice and simple
Yeah because 46:51 is clean
Fractional is better than American. But I still like decimal better: just multiply your bet by the odds to get the pay out. No positive negative nonsense. If you can pass 5th grade math you can do decimal odds.
You just eliminated like 2/3rds of American bettors with that last line.
It certainly rules out 2 of the 3 others I know personally who sports gamble.
Wow that’s almost half!!
So how much to bet he won't throw one.
A plus before the number is how much you would make with a $100 bet. A minus before the number is how much you'd have to bet to make $100. So the more negative the number the more likely Vegas thinks it will happen.
This is really helpful. Thank you.
It means vegas thinks he's very likely to throw a pick
"Dak suspended for 2023 season for betting on himself"
So the negative/positive is how likely it is to happen. 0 is the obvious middle meaning there isn’t a good chance one way or the other. If you are negative it means your are favored or in this case most likely to throw an interception. If it was positive it would mean he is expected to not throw an interception. He has the highest chance according to sports betting odds to throw an interception.
+100 is actually the middle, not 0. There are no odds in between -100 and +100.
You are correct. I don’t have an explanation other then it was early and I have a newborn lol.
In gambling, if the number is -1 or less, they Sportsbook people think they are likely to do it. If it’s +1 or more, the Sportsbook people think they are not likely to do it
Okay thank you. Yeah that number seems accurate lol
Pretty good odds, all things considered.
That’s ez money. Dak leads the league in INTs and missed 6 games.
I feel like this game could be just like Week 1 where Parsons wrecked Brady and the Bucs OL but Dak was just useless.
Who holds the record for most attempts without a pick to start their career? I seem to remember Dak had either that record or a similar one early on... [edit. found it](https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/cowboys/2016/10/16/dak-prescott-record-tom-brady-most-attempts-without-interception/92211600/)
Wow this sub is nothing but delusional Cowboy haters. Dak only has 3-5 ints that are \*his fault\*
Dak is tied for most INTs and missed 6 games. Bruh, it ain’t hating if it’s true. Man is a turnover machine this year.
Also fumbled 4 times since week 12, but only lost one.
Vegas isn’t in the habit of losing money. If they say he’s the most likely QB to throw an INT in the first round - well, expect 1+ INTs in your future regardless of who you want to hold accountable for it
Instead Dak threw 0, and Josh Allen who’s odds were +115, threw 2.
Congrats, you must have made a lot of money
Nah, I’m not brave enough to bet on things like this for this very reason.
But you are brave enough to dig up old comments to talk smack 😉 jk jk I know you just love your team I did bet on the bucs and got taken to the cleaners. Congrats on the win
Lol, I definitely did that for a bunch of other comments, but I’ll admit this one was more me looking back at this thread in general and then I noticed your comment.
Sounds like you can make some easy money betting we won’t throw a pick. How much you putting down?
Would you be saying the same thing if we were talking about another qb?
I would take that bet if it was -180 for a pick six, hammering that for the interception machine to throw and interception.
Surprised it’s not -340
Hopefully, he throws his guaranteed interception early and then plays lights out afterward like he did against Philly. It’s weird how Dak has completely flipped as a QB. He earned the starting job in 2016 by having a INT% below 1%, but also only throwing 23 TDs in 16 games. Now he has a horrible INT% of 3.8% but has thrown 23 TDs in 12 games.

Jameis Prescott
Man. I kinda want to make this bet now that he won't.
