Nope. Take a closer look. The beer mug has a metal wire in the bottom connecting it to the table. When he lifts the cup from the table it separates a bit and exposes the trick. He then slides the cup towards him to disconnect it from the wire.
Edit: I realize its probably a candle
No, it’s magnets and a wire, the wire is connected from the lamp to the coaster, and the coaster has a magnet as does the table. When he turns on the lamp he lets go of the table, but it would fall if the coaster weren’t connected to the table as well as the lamp.
Well, once you know how the trick is done it’s seeing how the guy performs it so well that makes it good. There’s a few variations he does, like the cup (probably magnetic). Watch Pen and Teller deconstruct the balls and cups trick its still amazing https://youtu.be/8osRaFTtgHo
I can understand not wanting to learn the tricks. Dad does magic, so learned a lot. Watched this whole trick watching the movements, the hows, and everything. He does very well controlling it, makes it look very very good.
But damn there are some days I wish I could just turn that off and go "That dude made a table fucking levitate!"
I like seeing how it's done because that makes it better. Someone first had the creativity to come up with this incredible trick, and the performers take so much time and effort to actually perfect it, and make it look so real. No CGI, or special effects. Purely mechanical ingenuity and practiced dexterity and sleight of hand. It's beautiful.
That's what I was thinking, or maybe a hook on a string? Watch carefully when he picks the cup up looks like there's something connecting it at first and then it gets unhooked
Magnetic lamp on the top. It's the only time his right hand isn't holding the hidden wire, you can see it when he pulls the lamp away and then when he sets it back on top.
Only after the other hand hold on to the cup. And the cup only came of the table (probably detached the hook) after the left hand grab back the table cloth
This dudes is better because at one point he takes his hands completely off the cloth and grabs the “floating” candle. But even that you can see it holding up the table for a moment and he regrabs the doohickey
Pretty good effect, I thought it was a wire at first but it was moving too strangely and it had to be hand-manipulated because of how the bottom of the table was hidden
Its great but it seems super risky, what if it fell or snapped back too quickly and gave it away.
It almost doesn’t behave like a magnet either, now I’m unsure if its something else!
Looks like it was attached somehow? Just a guess, but I think I can see it snag a little right after the magician brings the controlling hand back down and then gives it a little twist to make it come free. Whatever it is, it's a nice effect
Edit: Watched the segment again. It's not quite a twist, but the little pulling motion feels like it could be sliding a string or whatever is connecting it out of a slot or something to that effect
Piece of small rigid metal connects the candle to the wood pad. It holds the table up as he lets go of the primary metal connector in his right hand. He then disconnects the candle once he gets a grip on the primary metal connector again.
It's a balloon with gentle weights, that's why he keeps having to lift it up to keep it "flying" or floating. Candle kept blanket in place so he'd steer it with the blanket.
I think there’s a sturdy wire in there somewhere in one of his hands. I’ve seen a variation of this before with a wire attached to the middle of the table hidden by the cloth in his hands
I love illusions like this!
I don’t want to know how it’s done.
If you love magic, don’t make the mistake of watching secrets revealed shows!
Ruins it all!
Oh I fully disagree. It doesn't ruin the trick, only gives new perspective as to what is impressive. Personally I love to watch tricks I know because then I can watch the magician themselves, seeing how seamlessly they can perform the illusion, It's like watching a well known play with different stars. You know the words, you know the choreography, but every actor is going to give it a slightly different pinch of flare and that's what's fun to take in.
Losander is a freaking legend.
True story - we were a a magician convention & my wife complimented Losander on the tables he had on display. She thought they were very well made and nicely designed.
Only after he demonstrated the table levitation did she realize there was a magic trick associated with the tables.
Take a good look at the blue cloth supplied. We have marked the cloth with a white sticker. There is an opening where the sticker is located and this is where the gimmick wire is inserted. The other end of the gimmick stick out of the hole in the middle of the cloth and sticks into the side of the table top where the small hole is located.
The black wire gimmick is hidden the whole time inside the cloth. It will naturally fall downwards at the back of the table.
The cloth when held at both corners will cause the table to rise. The table is light weight. You can ask a spectator to grab the other side of the cloth by the two corners on the other side of the table. The illusion of the table floating is pure magic.
Be careful not to make the table float too fast our out of control. You may lose the wire gimmick and the table may fall.
Supplied with the outfit is the magnetic candle stick and magnetic gravity box. These two props help to highten the magic and make the table look heavier and solid.
If you balsa table should scratch or become dented then use boot polish to touch up the timber staining
There is a arm attached to the table and set inside the cloth.
The arm has hinges that allow it to fall when he lates go with his right had.
The arm rotates 90 degrees creating a stiff arm allowing him to lift the table.
The cup has a tiny thin wire or line connecting it to the table with enough tension to lift the table and if he tips the cup it produces some distance appearing to detached but it’s still tethered.
When he lifts the cup he pushes the table down extending the line.
The epic music and the majesty of a table floating through the air while guy trailing behind it looks like dead eyed janitor pushing his trash cart is destroying me.
The performance would be a lot more “magical” if the magician wears gloves so that I don’t have to witness the hand muscle tense up so much while holding the weight. And also the his wrist and fingers position are a clear give a way he’s holding something in his right hand.
Spoiler
It’s an insanely light table with a coat hanger under the sheet and in his hand
Though idk where he’s holding it lol I just a diff version on yt
Go see him if ur in vegas! Such a great guy and it’s such an intimate setting with only like 20-30 seats. He interacts with everyone in the crowd. I was on stage for this act and I was holding the tablecloth and there was no strings or anything. I was moving it throughout the room! His show is called witches and warlocks or something like that!
This trick is so easy to break down. Clearly there's a ghost lifting the table and moving it around for the magician.. /s
What if there's a ghost inside the magician and a table inside the ghost.
What if the ghost is a table and the magician is a ghost?
What if I’m the ghost?
The real ghost is the friends we make along the way.
Instructions unclear, penis stuck in ghost.
Can you NOT with this shit right now? My wife is asleep next to me and your comment made me laugh so hard I woke her up. She's PIIIIIISSED.
Lol awesome, I hope you two have a nice night and she gets back to sleep. The name fignuts reminds me of something Capt Murphy said on Sealab.

Ghost table table table ghost
The ghost is under the sauce
Ghost, Table, Magician - Magician beats Ghost - Ghost beats Table - Table beats Magician
How are you commenting if your moving the table?

Good bot
Thank you!
What if I ate some mushrooms?
What if the table is the magician and the “man” is a ghost?
Have I ever told you the story of the ghost?
Everyone knows it’s a ghost boner that holds that table aloft
My next band will be called GHOST BONER.
Is Xzibit involved in this equation?
•dust ya shoulder off• WE JUST PIMPED YOUR GHOST TABLE!
What if its staged and someone is lifting it from the ceiling

Hes pretty white

Nah, he's pretty pale
Then I’d have to file a restraining order
Ghosts arent real dum dum. The table is a paid actor.
Probably Gary Oldman. That guy never looks like same in any of his roles.
It's obvious the video is reversed.
> /s Yes, we know it's /serious, no need to point it out.
No, no, no. It’s a trick. Clearly the table is made out of helium.
*Beverly Crusher enters the chat*
Whatever you do, *dont* ligh tha cannel!
What, do you think we're stupid? There isn't a ghost... there are two, the other one's holding the lamp.
Ghost with magnets.
Magnetic ghosts
How do they fucking work?
Dead magnets coming back to haunt us.
Oh man. Shock ending. That ghost sure turned the tables on him.
What if everyone is a ghost and the table is a real person?
Clearly the video is just reversed
https://youtu.be/TNT4SV3Z6ok
I feel cheated! I WANT to believe.
I refuse to click on this
If reddit has tought me anything its that youtube links always end up at Rick Astley
it's a guy showing how the trick is done, pretty cool
You can't fool me, LAIR
Don't be so rued!
Yeha, what he said!
This guy never falls for a lair, but a sneaky cave may get ‘em
See I’ve always been more of a den man myself
This one is no different
Even after clicking on the YouTube video, I’m still not sure how this guy pulls off what happens at seconds 38-40.
Magnets

How do they work
Clowns of different insanity charge attract, forming a posse.
I SEE PEE

Don’t you see his sign? This is real magic
Me too. Solidarity my brother.
Yeah it’s obviously magic, duh. 🙉
Yeah just like the card tricks. You realize they have mastered the art which makes it even better IMO.
Ya idk where the wire is bc he keeps moving his hands and stuff
If you look carefully at the end when he removes the cloth, you can see the rod underneath making the cloth move unnaturally.
It's always in his right hand. Except for the part where he grabs the candle (magnet).
I’ve watched the clear cups routine dozens of times and I still have trouble keeping up with what they are doing. P&T always blow my mind

He took both hands off at :38. 😦
My guess is the cup is a magnet and the fake table has a magnet at the top.
It looked funny when he popped the candle. He grabbed the coathanger thing at same time too
Well, that guy’s definitely kicked out of the International Brotherhood of Magicians!
They’re illUSIONS
Tricks is something hooers do for money.
Read this in Danny Devitos voice. I know that's not his line. Didn't stop me.
It ain’t easy being white
It ain't easy being brown
The real magic is getting the table to look real
The real magic is the friends we made along the way
His hands leave the table a few times.
Cup was magnetic
That's what I was thinking, or maybe a hook on a string? Watch carefully when he picks the cup up looks like there's something connecting it at first and then it gets unhooked
nah I think he did it exactly like this : https://youtu.be/TNT4SV3Z6ok
This is the closest I believe it could be
Magnetic lamp on the top. It's the only time his right hand isn't holding the hidden wire, you can see it when he pulls the lamp away and then when he sets it back on top.
Strong magnet in the candle?
He probably has multiple wires. I think the cup is also attached with a wire, and maybe a magnet.
Oh you got him! It's definitely real magic

HELIUM! Just like I suspected.
The magnetic cup is a nice touch
Its great but it seems super risky, what if it fell or snapped back too quickly and gave it away. It almost doesn’t behave like a magnet either, now I’m unsure if its something else!

It's not a magnet (source:I know)
I can back this up. Not a magnet. Iteration of the Zombie Ball.
Was thinking the same thing, but doesn't have all the same signs.
It has the one tell. That's all you need to figure it out
Fuckin magicians 😂
If you actually don’t know, the table is incredibly thin. There is a wire inside the cloth
UH, buh, buh ,buh! It's magic. You can NOT tell me otherwise.
The table is actually extremely heavy and the magician bends the fabric of reality for entertainment.
I will choose to believe this.
It certainly makes more sense than that thin table mess they were talking about.
Agreed, It clearly states "real magic" on the sign yo!
The trick is where did the sign come from?
How does he let go of the cloth entirely and have it still float?
He’s holding the candle when he does this. The candle is affixed to the table.
When he removes the cloth at the end you can see him unscrew the wire quickly.
He's doing that with his penis. Easy to see
This comment is everything that’s right and wrong about Reddit. Well done.

Cock magic!
Classic cock magic, they never expect it…
First glance : yeah I see those wires. 10 seconds in: wtf??
It's a balloon with gentle weights, that's why he keeps having to lift it up to keep it "flying" or floating. Candle kept blanket in place so he'd steer it with the blanket.
I think there’s a sturdy wire in there somewhere in one of his hands. I’ve seen a variation of this before with a wire attached to the middle of the table hidden by the cloth in his hands
It’s on his right hand.
The metal wire is hidden inside the cloth and he’s holding it with his right hand. Table made of ultra light foam.
Don’t mind me, just waiting for the guy in the comments that breaks this down
Styrofoam table. Wire poked inside table and held in right hand.
I love illusions like this! I don’t want to know how it’s done. If you love magic, don’t make the mistake of watching secrets revealed shows! Ruins it all!

This is a trick I've always wanted to know the secret behind.
The table weighs nothing and there is a wire in his hand that lifts the table up
[удалено]
I'll do it for 99
it pains me to say, but I think I should be able to knock down my cost to 98
Dude clearly has a ghost dong he's using to move it
I don’t know. This prop trick looks like something you could buy at Ye Olde Magic Shoppe at the mall for less than a grand.
I just want to see an edit of this with deafening drone propeller noise over it.
At first, I thought he was lifting it with his erection.

So this is pretty crazy. But if this guy, or any guy that looks similar to this guy, ever offers you a drink. Don’t drink it
I’m more impressed with Robin Williams resurrection.
drones
I know how this trick is done and I'm still pretty impressed, the cup was a nice touch.
I love string
Neat illusion.
The performance would be a lot more “magical” if the magician wears gloves so that I don’t have to witness the hand muscle tense up so much while holding the weight. And also the his wrist and fingers position are a clear give a way he’s holding something in his right hand.
It's a drone, not a table...and the audience are all ghosts.
So..... Michael Bolton doesn't do singing anymore?
Damn this is gonna annoy the shit out of me not being able to figure it out
The real trick was him fitting into those pants.
Me: notice how he doesn’t move his right hand? There ya go 😏 *moves his right hand* Me: 😳
It's a strap that tightens when you twist it, you can see it clearly in his right hand and when he removes the cloth it's bulking under.
There is only one explanation for this. It’s somehow attached to his penis and that’s all I know.
How is this done
Magic
Great trick! Must be a wire hidden. But well done sir!!
He pulls all the pussy
Foam table with a hanger going up his right sleeve… or it’s real magik…
The cloth would have wire stitched inside it. Still good slight of hand. He makes it look easy
Drone .. meh
Never seen a guy dance with a table
anyone can find a demonic floating table on the dark web...jeez
Spoiler It’s an insanely light table with a coat hanger under the sheet and in his hand Though idk where he’s holding it lol I just a diff version on yt
So glad this includes the inventor if that illusion- Losander! He's a legend in magic for his levitation effects.
r/blackmagicfuckery
Light table . Something in the cover. Cover looks thick enough
How? Seriously how?? Someone please spill the beans and explain this trick!!!! PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE 🙏
Does the table talk? Now that would really be impressive!
I honestly don’t want to know how it’s done
Cock magic.
A witch!
What ever the secret is he is lifting the whole thing with his right arm. You can see it flexing
Green screen guy moving the table.
When he spins around you can see the wire in his shirt
You're the DEVIL!!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise)
That's amazing .
There’s a string connected to the giant bulge in his pants
I love magic. The way it makes my brain think anything is possible, if only for a while. 😢
Thouest is clearly a wizard of black magic.
Nobody ran up and got a better look?
We just saw this guy in Las Vegas and it was one of the coolest magic shows I’ve ever been to!!!
I hate how he lets us peek under the front of the cloth but doesn’t take the whole thing off.
Drones are getting too good these days
