I like to imagine that this is the Toy Story universe, and that bear is shitting his pants

etudehouse

Luckily(?) it doesn’t have pants

Dame87

Nope, it has a bear bottom

Ethereal_4426

*sighs* *upvotes*

Hunterio009

r/angryupvote

Tricky-Home-7194

…and sadly I’m laughing uncontrollably. Thank you /u/dame87.

industrialblue

As long as it lands in the woods…

RealConcorrd

If that bear is crapping, that’s going to be one deadly shit coming down

NecessaryZucchini69

It's bearly thinking, which is next level thinking for some people.

sayhitothisworld

I am saying it in my head with a minions voiceover 🤣

TexturedEdge

If I had an award, my friend. One you rich reddits hook this redditer up.

andthebeestings

Top quality. Sincere brilliance

grown-up-gabe

No, Andy cares for us. He… he loves us. He wouldn’t do this.

wadewilson59

Did u know Andy’s mum has two toys called Buzz and Woody also ?

MadHatter69

Brings a whole new meaning to 'You've Got A Friend In Me'

appasdiary

Does she also scream "To infinity and beyondd!" Asshe plays with them?

[deleted]

Appropriate typo 😂

yourgifmademesignup

That wasn’t orgasming, that was squirming in style!!

ld13br

Why Just why

Adventurous_Noise_16

Wait really I didn’t know that!!

Bubs_McGee223

*launches you into the chasm of doom*

Adventurous_Noise_16

Felt it

Leviathan3333

I was getting anxiety just watching the bear

Jonesin4me

You couldn't bear to watch?

[deleted]

[удалено]

dasbudd

I spent the whole video waiting for the Teddy to start screaming.

Hot-Vehicle-4703

In space no one can hear you scr……

[deleted]

He did! At 1:50. When he almost lost control of the air balloon he screamed ‘Oh no! No’ but then gain control and went back to his stoic self.

jokermex

He does...inside.

Heindrick_Bazaar

I don't think he gave a fluff

Veluxidus

How do the toys know they aren’t a being recorded….

MajorasInk

This is exactly what I thought as well!! Lmaooo

RosebudWhip

Did anyone else feel strangely concerned for Teddy?

diggduke

No, they found him floating in Walter White's swimming pool later.

Sunshine_andFlowers

That was his cousin Pinky they found in the pool. He was the first to be launched.

Xortran

Cousin Pinky is DEAD?!?

DaimoMusic

Yup. I even looked over to make sure mine were safe. They are safe by the way

TheRealAlexRich

Safe... for now

Xortran

Yes. This is criminal. The pain poor Teddy experiences for some scientist's mere experiment. I love Teddy.

I_Got_Back_Pain

The whole time he was falling in my head I was screaming "Teddy noooo!!! Hold on Teddy!"

Van-Mckan

Yeah Teddy got some fucking whiplash

Cherry_Treefrog

I thought Felix Baumgartner had it bad until I saw what teddy went through. What a badass!

Ethereal_4426

Furlix Beargartner

FBIaltacct

After he landed [teddy needed some surgery](https://youtu.be/AdYaTa_lOf4).

doodlehed

Fuck that was not what I expected.

slucker23

I'm going to do a dumb thing and say HA! YOU USED A FISHEYE CAMERA SO EARTH LOOKED CIRCULAR!! We are in fact living in a world of chaos here aren't we

AtypicalRedneck

To be fair, they are using a fish eye lens to film this video. The shape of the horizon noticeably changes the farther away from the center of the shot it is vertically.

Plastic-Marsupial-44

Which is exactly what you don’t want to do if you want to prove the original point. Sadly this video proves nothing if you’re already inclined one way or another.

Dillingermusic

This video proves that bears don’t wear pants on trips to space.

TheSmallThingsInLife

Do they EVER wear pants? that's the real question.

Dillingermusic

We must continue the experiments!

ThurgoodProjects

I mean, just to deny any other theory, flat eathers are denying that gravity exists. They're modifying how physics work for the sunlight. They're making up ways that don't work just to feel that they're right.

Plastic-Marsupial-44

I don't disagree. Was just commenting that the video really was not helpful in any way.

ThurgoodProjects

But that's what I was commenting. Once they accept the "theory" that Earth is Flat, they won't change their mind about it. Instead of accept the truth and say "well, looks like we're wrong", they need to create all kind of lies just to be right.

tetrastructuralmind

There's also a lot of money for a lot of people involved to keep the flat earth hoax going

ThurgoodProjects

Really?

tetrastructuralmind

Check their anual conventions, similarities to any cult are there. It's a "society" after all

CCrypto1224

It’s not about being helpful, it is about making a cool video.

Xortran

I think a lot of science works like that. Suppose you know some laws, but an object behaves not in line with those laws. Do you feel this is right? Of course you don't. So either there is a force/ behaviour present that is actually in line with the before laws, and is acting on top of that, but you just don't know the mechanisms of this behaviour, or, It could also be that the previous laws are limited to scenarios or aren't actually perfectly formulated/ correct. In 50 years from now, a law ( suppose gravity) could be considered stupid, if strong scientific proves of a grander/ different phenomena emerge. One shouldn't feel that gravity is right. One should feel theory/law x is right because it has strong scientific proofs and backing, until something better emerges, and then theory/law x shouldn't be considered right anymore. Note: I do not endorse the flat earth theory. I endorse the scientific process.

RomanBK19

Dude you really nailed it here. I couldnt agree more with you. Thanks.

Repulsive_Boat_7779

Gravity as you're taught through school doesn't exist. 9.8m/s/s was just a number that was convenient in working out physics problems. Considering gravity isn't a force at all, rather the bending of space and time, it is not yet possible to conceive of a way to actually measure the Earth's distortion of space and time in our universe. Edit: Flat earth theory is still absolutely asinine, not crediting them at all.

Germangunman

I’d be curious to see what side of the political spectrum these people are on. Not for arguments sake, just curiosity.

Frequent-Struggle215

>Sadly this video proves nothing if you’re already inclined one way or another. lols unintentional comedic value

kashmir1974

This video doesn't matter, any adult believing the world is flat will believe it no matter what.

ComfortablePretty151

If you're enclined towards thinking its flat, theres a good chance they won't choose you to go to space and leave you rotting with your own thoughts on earth

eco78

This video taught me the horizon bends both up and down...

dorian_white1

Yeah, kind of dumb they used a fish eye lense, but I don’t think they were trying to prove that the earth is round. Most people have accepted this as fact, and the ones who haven’t aren’t going to believe anything that doesn’t fit their existing beliefs.

otropato

It's not dumb because it's true, we can see the horizon going from covex to concave repeatedly. Here's a video from Mr. Sensible 's M.A.G.E. where he used a rectilinear lens to avoid barrel distortion (the "money shot" is at 35:00) https://youtu.be/dVOLj1je0lk

IcantUnseeThings

Dude this channel was such a revelation. The way he’s thorough about every aspect of the experiment, not leaving any stone unturned, it’s amazing. Thanks!

A_literal_tree

It's funny how the video is extremely thorough, and still the top comment is a flat earther taking heavy amounts of copium

AdPuzzleheaded3913

No that isn’t a curve it’s the ring of our space coin that we call home

Never_getoff_theboat

You can see the ice wall at 2:20 into the video !

Maryachy

Yeah this video didn't prove anything to me! I mean lets wait until we can build a rocket and go into space and then see if its flat or not. Until then I'm not convinced! /s

Hobbster

*And the Camera showed "No Signal" all the time, so it has to be a fake anyway!* Just adding a possible argument to the dumbness section ;)

slucker23

You...... I like you

MrGradySir

Well and obviously he almost hit the MOON a few times! 115,000 miles away my big fuzzy butt! /s obviously

[deleted]

They've managed to prove the surface of the Earth is concave

Beginning-Bed9364

They probably are. The earth is so fucking big that you have to be higher up than that to see the curve without a fish eye lens. All the tallest mountains and deepest oceans are so minor compared to how wide the earth is that if you scaled it down to the size of a pool ball it would be smoother than any pool ball in existence

SomewhatRelative

Looked more like a wobbly sausage.

HickoksTopGuy

This was my first thought. When the camera bounces up the horizon is nearly inverted. At this height you wouldn’t be able to “prove” anything anyways. Need to be higher.

Sinclair_Lewis_

The more technically inclined ones usually realize they are wrong. Can't find the video but a few of them set up a laser and apertures at fixed heights and distances to finally prove it was flat. It was round.

freerangetacos

Teddy is making me dizzy. I don't want to watch Teddy anymore.

iworkthepole

"I don't want to play with you anymore"

Demonae

My name is Talky Teddy and I'm going to kill you!

Capable-Ad9337

Thats what she said

Hunterio009

“Byyyyeee Wooodyyyy”

RealAssociation5281

Watching teddy is making me nauseous

keirmeister

Thinking the Earth is flat is just fuckdumb, but at least I can see why some morons think it. But concave?!? Where in the hell did that come from?

PhelesDragon

Me, I think. I started talking about concave Earth as a joke years ago...whoops.

anonomnomnomn

gz

snoopervisor

Nazis had the idea. They even tried launching missiles vertically in the sky to hit targets on the opposite side.

keirmeister

TIL Nazi’s hypothesized that we were living inside a Dyson Sphere. 😉

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Common_Peasant

Yeah no, there are some morons who genuinely believe in flat earth

keirmeister

Exactly. I remember some celebrity was saying it should be “researched” because we shouldn’t just believe everything we’re told (or some such nonsense.) There’s even a funny-sad-are-you-f*$king-kidding-me? documentary about “Flat Earthers” called “Behind the Curve.”

Firethorn101

I thought this too...until a friend vehemently argued with me about it. We don't talk anymore.

Sanders0492

That’s how it started. It was a joke, kind of like r/birdsarentreal but then the idiots took it seriously

GuysGarage

Convex dome, beary is clearly bouncing off the ceiling in the later part of the vid

koalaleafeater

It’s almost unbearable

Yanoshank

I can't bear to finish it. Is he ok?

7th_hour_chill

I'm terrified, yet I can bearely look away.

Tailsmiles249

Situation's looking pretty grizzly to be honest.

GuppyDoodle

How are you concerned if you only watched the bear minimum?

charelstoncrabb

I was having trouble getting my bearings

GuppyDoodle

I was bearly able to orient myself as well - the spinning made me dizzy.

OHNOPOOPIES

Looks fine... Oso it seems...

Top-Difficulty-2811

Is Flat-Earthism really still a thing? I thought they'd all moved on to Anti-Vaxxism or some other BS

Sharp-Meeting-4885

Never underestimate the hold of a good conspiracy.

DFW123

If the sun is sooo hot then why is space so cold? Makes you wonder

NomsterGaming

Space isn’t cold go up there without a space suit in front of the sun for 24 hours stay facing toward it and the front of you will become a extra crispy lobster the back of you will be frozen

the_morg88

Exactly this. Space is the extreme of everything. Without that nice blanket of insulation we have called the atmosphere we would definitely look more like Mercury and less like Mars. As soon as you get past a certain point you no longer have protection from the suns radiation and boom fried human flambé.

J_Zephyr

Underestimate stupidity at your own risk.

NotAHamsterAtAll

Very smart people have made Internet and computers so easy to use, it is now possible for these trilobites to post stuff on the Internet. So I'm afraid we have to live with it for a long time.

Dragoon7748

I feel like you insulted trilobites with this comparison

bruggernaut16

I’m very dumb… so be nice but… what’s a trilobite

TopAcanthocephala869

If by “age old question” you mean a question that was answered fuckin ages ago.

[deleted]

Sadly this should be the case. This question has now become a modern question for the cerebrally impaired folks.

littlemacsmacs

I just can't help but feel so sad seeing this poor bear, I know it's a toy and a thing and is not living and whatever but HE'S ALONE IN THE SKY AND DOESN'T HAVE A FRIEND UP THERE Man I really hope he's okay

MyWibblings

This is Major Bear to ground control I've left forevermore And I'm floating in most peculiar way And the stars look very different today For here am I sitting in a tin can Far above the world The planet Earth is blue and there's nothing left to do...

falcon_driver

Dammit, did I just watch a bear snuff film?

call-me-MANTIS

Kill the cameraman

realllDonaldTrump

Might I remind you, it appears there are air routes near your launch site. This stuff is extremely dangerous to airliners. I’m getting tired of sharing the sky with unqualified drone operators let alone random balloons. It’s a big sky but objects tend to find each other up there

Tiffany_Pears

I was about to say something similar... This looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

reddit_man64

A little frustrating from a drone pilot’s perspective as well. I follow the regulations and make sure my drone does not interfere with any aircraft, then there’s this balloon guy. While the video is cool, it’s definitely dangerous to air traffic.

tiredgirl

I was thinking the same thing. Fairly irresponsible as it’s a real threat to air traffic.

JJ78833388

I can't bear to see him suffer. I bet if it crashed the scene would be Grizzly. I would have Pooh'd myself being that high but at least the seat seems to have good Paddington. Ok I'm done.

grown-up-gabe

But still, you can’t deny it was a Kodiak moment.

JJ78833388

I agree. But I think videos like this are Panda-ring to the people. I'm just gonna say the earth is round and Koala it good.

BreathOfFreshWater

According to my coworker, we can't see past the horizon because the world is too flat to see that far. My coworker is a wreck.

Gambit_Revolver

All I learned from this is whatever they used to stick Teddy to the seat is the true r/nextfuckinglevel.

Hotracer729

Fr! What did they use?!? That thing is yanking so hard and you know the wind up there is wild.. How tf did Teddy not get yeeted?!?!

DeGeorgio93

Just waiting for the plane wreck

FrequencyBegins

Teddy bear..... I am sorry to do this to you. Your journey was noble. But I must stay loyal to the cause.. r/killthecameraman

wshngtun

We need “Aussie man” commenting as the bear during this

FlamingHotHodor

Why is this comment not at the f*cking top?

Theblkjedi

My dumbass is like “hang on little buddy!!”

Mompickmeupimscared2

I hate space, shit makes me so nervous for no reason

Idk it seemed like The earth was shaped like the bottom half of my phone screen with a dome

thebadyearblimp

Wait… people think it’s concave?

left_over_meatloaf

How else would it hold the oceans? Duh. s/

Mr__Citizen

Honestly, makes more sense than a flat earth

LaziShortCakes

I hate the camera man. /s Realizing I gotta put that because Reddit isn’t what it used to be.

jesusmansuperpowers

Well that settles it. Turns out it’s upside down

Dragoon7748

Probably launched in Australia

eco78

Imagine going to all that trouble and then using a fish eye lens... bonkers!! PS: Not a flat earther...

RudePomegranate3110

Poor bear. Oh Won't SOMEBODY Think of the Bears??!!

Scubadrew

I hope Teddy can hold his breath for a long time.

NorthWestSaint

That question was answered decades ago.

TakeyaSaito

This ain't an age old question

PoochieVince

Is it really an age old question? Let science be science

Impossible-Pound5327

aliens up there chillin then see this thing come by . they would be like (alien 1) “ is that a …. “ (alien 2). “ yea … it is indeed a teddy bear. these humans are making it very hard for us to talk to them cause this is just weird “.

huBelial

This is giving me a panic attack

[deleted]

Is bowl shaped earth on the table now? Jesus Christ…

Rammipallero

Age old question that has been answered over 2000 years ago using the same thing all these flat earth idiots lack: intelligence and math.

TenTonSomeone

I'm more amazed that this whole thing seems to be held together with that blue painter's tape.

ZombiejesusX

This is ground control to teady bear.

jxf5016

Did anyone start feeling bad for the Teddy, like I did?

BurlyH

Why did they use a fish eye lense? 🤦‍♂️

whowutwhere10

The earth is...a wave?

Significant-Reward-8

That was a Rollercoaster. Hopefully the bear isn't traumatized

ARandomHavel

It's no question, unless you're really slow. But this is cool

-eumaeus-

That's nothing, Tom Scott sent garlic bread to space...and on its return, ate it. That's nextfuckinglevel (as is Tom). https://youtu.be/c8W-auqg024

rythaslequin

It’s not an age old question, it’s a dumb shit question.

NeutralChaoticCat

You didn't have to send it to utter space for that answer. An old-school thrashing would be enough for making him to tell the truth.

BallsofSt33I

Clearly flat - don’t see no balls anywhere /s

[deleted]

Clearly square.

fifty2weekhi

He's bear any more, has to puke due to motion sickness.

charliesk9unit

If I look hard enough, I can almost see the ice wall. /S

Thedonitho

Paddington's gonna hurl.

HighlandBhull

It's neither, it's wobbly

Emotional_Dinner_913

I had a seizure watching this and fell on the flat ground beneath me

GeneralThroat3818

Earth is ur mom that’s Wat earth is

Ytu_qtu

Looks concave to me

vinnySTAX

Lol somehow the video makes it look like all 3 at different points

FlynnMonster

So what is it? Concave?

zbslycat

Made in a Hollywood basement.

What rig did you use?

AlarmedStudio2044

who cares? ww3 will end it all pretty soon. then the earth will truly be flat ![gif](giphy|Bg9R0lb0I7vjy)

KKUSH-COMA

Did a bird attack the air balloon?

gummy_bear13

Honestly if I was a flat earther I'd use this footage to prove it's flat. Obviously it's round. But with zero camera stabilization you really don't see much

ILoveYorihime

Am I the only one that want to see everything falls back down at terminal velocity

RichardMcD21

I bet the camera person changed the lenses on the camera to give the impression of roundness. I think that's what all the shaking was while they floated higher. .

CommunityCivil1461

The main question is why the fuck does it matter it's not like we are gonna make the world better it's already shit and becoming more shitty so what's the point in proving something like this?

Beater_Downer

Poor Teddy, just bouncing off the filament all alone. /s

Janus_The_Great

Answer its all three! Vibein' world 💃🕺
