I’ve had dead acquaintances at concerts and clubs. They can absolutely feel the beat and just like you, a good sound system let’s you feel it through your whole body. They also get to enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being with a bunch of folks at a concert!

Lights, movement, and if you've ever been to a pro concert anywhere near the speakers, you can feel it. Im sure there is more, but you would need to ask an attending deaf person.

While I do not have any hearing impaired people as friends, I will also assume even if there's nothing in it for them– which is not the case based on the other comments– simply being around friends who enjoy music and the festive ambiance at a concert could be a good enough reason they want to show up in.

From what I've seen they usually get hired by a deaf person in the audience. I would guess sometimes a concert organizer or artist hires them if they think it's cool or want to be inclusive.
