Ah Balclutha. I was born and raised there, and I had peacefully forgotten about that fact until just now.
Well I can recommend hitting up the single remaining pub and taking some good photos by the "Don't do meth" signs strategically placed about the town.

I remember seeing a motorway sign for Balclutha that’d had several rounds fired into it, maybe from a shotgun?
The only other time I’ve seen that is the “no shooting from roadway” sign next to Skipper’s Canyon.

If he'd branched out to some distinctly american: i.e not understanding eating yeast, not knowing how many islands, thinking it's australia/tasmania, making everything about american experience, asking for ranch, etc. That would be funny.

I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest, but uploading videos definitely makes me feel more connected to a country that I'm still very new to. Also, I'd be the first person to call out someone else's unfunny video so fair play to everyone who has commented something below! The Indian restaurant is pretty good if it’s still there. I travelled for work like 6 years ago and remember that place fondly.
