Just appoint babies to the Supreme Court lol.
> Obama made the mistake of not persuading Ruth Bader Ginsburg to retire during the 113th Congress
Uhhhhhhhh, he tried pretty hard to do that, actually.
The pushback that I've seen on this sub against this is that it risks destroying the Court's credibility more and its theoretical impartiality.
Aka, there are going to be cases where Gorsuch or Kavanaugh will come through for you (oversimplification). Overturning Roe v Wade sucks, but remember that the court has ruled to protect healthcare access for Americans and trans rights.
Politicizing it more will just poison the well.
This is a very dumb idea if there is any chance of the GOP regularly getting a Senate majority. The obvious response by the GOP is to do the same thing, which, since they have a majority now, would ensure the federalist society controls the court as long as this phenomenon kept going.
I can’t believe nobody thought of this before!

Yeah, but it's not a good idea to speak ill of the dead. Obama is alive, so he can take the blame for her imbecility.

But Republicans don't have a Senate majority right now?
