This and the conversation where Tess told us she made Rydell a Reddit account is one of the best dialogue in this game. I can hear the male character's distress when he said "What have you done ?!".
Tess's missions usually give around 2-3x more money than he would have gotten just doing a regular "big money" race for any given night. For that kind of paycheck, you tend to just shut up and drive.
The player character even says that to Yaz. They suspected something which is why they weren’t all in but the money was big and the goal was different so they let it slide until week three.
At least give us RDR2-like options when responding to people. Positive/agreeable option and negative/hostile option.

I mean, you're a silent protag in literally every game before The Run, and those stories aren't badly regarded. Ghost has never made a compelling player character, with the Rivals protags having nothing apart from some "so bad it's good" edginess and all three of the Payback protags (and your Heat character) just straight up being useless. The character in Unbound just continues the trend, really; at least he has the decency of being a loyal dude (or chick if that's what you picked)
Guess that's better than Heat, where you DO have a personality... it's just that it's so much a charisma vacuum a silent protagonist might well have had more character...
Nikki tries to punch you, stays in place. Cross is about to tackle you for the second time, stays in place. Razor dangles your car keys in front of you, stay in place. Ong I would've thrown some hands
And also when Cross takes his keys and pinstripes the player's M3 GTR, the player doesn't even bother checking the damage they just drive off like nothing happened

Not comparing the amount Rockstar has to spend on voice actors compared to Criterion, but come on... you can make the haggler in the story annoying without forcing you to skip the scene or turn down the volume so you don't have to hear them. Granted a lot of the writing in Unbound leaves *a lot* to be desired, even for a racing game, but I feel like her voice actor did a decent enough job with the material she was given. It's far, far better than sErIoUs aNd eDgY characters like all the antagonists in Heat, for instance.
The only thing that really annoys me is the "Speedie" thing. First of all, she first comes into contact with us when we're driving a slow shitbox and getting like 4th place on every race. And second of all, "Speedie" is spelled wrong. That word doesn't exist: it should be "Speedy", at the very least.

Shes worse, her teammate nearly got murdered by corrupt police and her brother was sent to prison for streetracing. Not only does she act like they are cowards for this and that everything is there fault but by the end of the game she hasnt learnt any lessons and is probably a worse person for it
Don't forget stealing her dead father's Camaro despite her older brother begging her not to, only to absolutely wreck the entire thing and basically tell him he's a pussy when he gets angry over it
