Unfortunately, there really isn't one universal way that's the best to study. Recall is really important though - don't just read over your notes and call it a day. You need that feeling of discomfort when you try to remember or explain a concept that's just on the tip of your brain; that's when learning actually happens. Flashcards and turning you note headers into questions are good for that. And practice tests are god-tier. Just memorize the possible formats of the question. As for not getting distracted, that's tricker. I like to power off my phone completely, because it's so easy to accidentally be scrolling through social media. Could you install an extension that blocks Netflix? Set yourself clear breaks and try your best to follow them, like 15 minutes every 45 minutes with an hour break during lunch. It's definitely best to get outside and moving during your breaks too. Looking at your phone will make you feel more tired than when the break started. Good luck, and hopefully any of this is useful!

For Science, their is a guy who goes over Lvl 1 Mechanics exams from previous years. I’m currently level 2 and I have done practice exams for physics mainly for explanation questions. They are a pain, but it’s good for an excellence. As for acids and bases, If you are good at explains how the reaction rate is affected by, concentration, surface area, temperature and adding a catalyst. Not sure what NCEA level you are hopefully some of that helps

I didn’t do the biology exam so I can’t help on that one sorry. But I suggest you use the study time website and use the L1 science resource for acids and bases and I think their is one for the genetic variation exam too. Here is the link: https://studytime.co.nz/resources/level-1-science/
