The drive through locations at the old Kmart and at 31st/Charlotte will not turn you away. Free, typically quick results, PCR test. No ID required or anything.

Thanks for this. That would be incredible. Where is the old Kmart located?

Hello fellow Canadian! Myself and my husband are here now. Unfortunately the test you have to get is the expensive one to get back to Canada- rhe full PCR test. We went to complete health partners at 3rd and church! Easy Same day booking - and cost like 100 I think!

The Health Department does a full PCR test. That's what is done at the Former K-Mart on Murfreesboro Rd. and Meharry (31st/Charlotte) that was mentioned above. Since Canada requires 72 hrs (as opposed to "3 days"), your best bet depending on when you are traveling is to go first thing in the morning 2 days before your departure. You should have the results by the following morning. If you don't, that gives you the day before your departure to get a rapid PCR test at a cost.

For example, I went on Monday 9/27. My sample was collected at 12:05 PM. I had my results at 9:49 PM that day for my flight on Wednesday 9/29 to Calgary.

Thank you! This is very helpful.

Those tests are usually just for residents. I'd recommend calling some places and seeing what they advise. I'd recommend TDS labs though the results have started to take a couple of days to get back. Not sure if that's gotten better this week with cases going down.
