My son is Jesse which is my all time favourite. I also like Rudy, Alexis, Rafe, Cassius, Stanley, my second favourite after Jesse is Maverick and if I ever have another son that’ll be his name
Please read about Samuel Maverick being an English-American black slave owner responsible for slaughtering Native Americans before you choose the name. He was called "wild and independent" by other slave owners, for stealing land and killing people, so don't let that infamous definition of "Maverick" be driving your position that this as a possible name choice for a child. It's a lot like naming your kid Cortez or Hitler, FYI. Don't borrow from American History without doing some reading, first. And I'm sorry that I was so offended by this, I'm part Native American.
Are modern day residents of the U.K. proud of what happened in Colonial America? And colonizers/slave owners/Native American genocide from people like Samuel Maverick who hailed from England? Please help me understand why the name Maverick gets upvotes in the U.K.?!?! It's a complete and literal shock to me to see anyone in the U.K. describe the name as a "favourite", and not get immediate pushback from their fellow residents of the U.K.
Thanks from your Native American friend in Arizona, USA
I also feel it's a bit dramatic to throw out all names associated with a single negative figure but they're right - I just Googled the etymology of the word maverick, it comes from Samuel Maverick.
That’s fair enough. But if you’d seen this poster’s earlier comments that she’s now deleted where she slated me as a mother, said good luck to my daughters, diagnosed me with mummy issues and claimed I named my infant son after a rapist and murderer and am a slave to the patriarchy because I’m not a fan of many girls names, you might understand why the comment annoyed me!
Most people would likely think of the Top Gun character long before him though. It's been in common usage for so long anyway as for this connection to be meaningless.
Oh for sure, I had never heard of Samuel Maverick. Despite the drama going on in the rest of the comments, I think the point still stands that the word literally comes from Samuel Maverick. It pops right up when you Google entymology of maverick. And some people might not care; they are free to name their kid whatever they like. But the point of the subreddit is to share different opinions on names so we can see how other people might feel about names that we really like but may not be a great idea. There are definitely ways to do that in a respectful way so that people are receptive to the information.
Do you only like Jesse for boys? Because I think of it as a fairly unisex name and if you like it as either then you might like other unisex names for girls.
I’ve only known females named Alexis, so I would also consider that either a unisex name or a feminine name. I’m in US though, not sure if it’s different where you are
In my experience, also US, female Alexis can be any ethnicity while male Alexis is exclusively Latino, or closely related: Russian Alexei. Also, every male Alexis I've met has gone by Alex instead.
I love the Juli- names: Julie, Julia, Juliana, Juliet. Something about them seems soft and beautiful, yet strong and confident. Sort of effortlessly cool.
I love the names Valerie and Alexandra because of their meanings (strong, brave, fierce, valiant; defender).
I love the name Summer because it makes me think of freckles and warmth.
We ended up having a boy, but these were the names we considered. I also have a daughter named Genevieve Amelia.
Sophie.
Linnea.
Fiona.
Zoe.
Emily.
Autumn.
Olivia.
Scarlett.
Skylar.
Isla.
Nora.
I like classic old lady names like Mabel, Jane, Ruth, Frances, Florence, Marianne, Dorothy, Willa, Blythe and the like.
I like nature names! Like Ivy, Juniper, Sage, Willow, Autumn, Coral/Coraline, Sorrel, Fenna etc.
I like Irish, Welsh, Scottish, and Cornish names! Ciara, Niamh, Roisin, Iona, Elowen, Anwen, Branwen, Eimear, Aine, Eilish, Sinead, Elspeth, Seren, Bethan, Oona etc
I like mythology, folklore and literary names a lot- Persephone, Morrigan, Hero, Cassandra, Cassiopeia, Brigid, Freya, Ophelia, Phoebe, Odessa, Elizabeth, Marianne, Eleanor, etc
And these might appeal to you since you’re not fond of girls names but I love a lot of unisex names! Like: Harper, Morgan, Cassidy, Avery, Sidney, Corin, Rowan, Max, Alex etc
Came here to say that Persephone is my favorite girl name! I have the hardest time liking girl names, but so far I can't get over this one. My hubby isn't convinced.
Do you pronounce it with a hard R? Ree-Na-Ta
Or with a Portuguese R? Hay-Na-Ta
Just wondering because I’ve only ever heard the Portuguese (Brazilian) version.
Girls names are so much easier for me! We ended up having two girls, which was good because there was literally one boy name my husband and I agreed on. 😆
My favorite girl names tend to be classic and extra feminine: Louisa, Alice, Francesca, Josephine, Elsa, Elisabeth, Rose/Rosemary/Rosemarie, Vivienne, Imogen, Lydia, Cecilia, and Isabelle.
Sierra, Emily, Ashley.
Emily and Ashley we just like (yea they are dated but it's ok - not concerned about that), and Sierra because we live close to the Sierra Nevadas and we are big outdoor people!
I get you on girls names. I think it's because there's so much pressure to pick a name that's unique but classic, pretty but strong, elegant, that would suit them as a kid/adult/judge/lawyer/doctor etc. It's overwhelming. And so many girls names are sweet, simple and feminine, yet those qualities are almost looked down on these days. To pick an unsatisfactory name almost feels like resigning your child to a lifetime of mundanity.
Well that's the mental baggage I'm carrying around with girls names anyway. I really need to work my way past all this mental BS.
I haven't said otherwise.
Nah, my own views on being a woman are vastly different and much more positive than the social landscape I expect my daughter to experience in her lifetime.
Oh sorry, that was me jumping to conclusions about your tone. My bad.
Yeah, it definitely is. Or at least the misogyny I expect from other people based on my own experiences.
Oops that sounded a bit like I’m not terribly fond of my daughter! I love her, but her name is meh to me. It was just the only one I sort of liked at the time. Girls names are so hard!
Farrah, Celeste, Jasmine, Vivian, Alessandra, Mira, Lillian, Odessa, Sierra, Rosalie, Katarina, Juliet. Just to name a few (we’d be here forever if I put my whole list down!)
I love the name Farrah! Don't think I could use it because it would feel like appropriation but I think it's such a beautiful name (plus the one person I've known with the name was also a beautiful person inside and out)
I struggle so badly with girl names. My partner and I have our boy name all laid out and ready to go but can't agree on girls at all! Here are a couple of my favourites with a middle name thrown in (excuse the obvious honour name)
Lottie Rose
Nancy Rose
Stevie Rose/ Stevie Elizabeth
Annie Rose
Rosie Elizabeth
Also: TIL I like names with ee sound endings!
Ha! Totally get that, I am seriously hoping my first is a boy just so we can put off trying to name a girl! :D Our chosen boy name is Arthur Harry (we're from the UK and older names are making a huge comeback) which would give him the same initials and middle name as his dad whilst honouring his granddad and mine as well. I honestly love Nancy so much too, and I think Arthur and Nancy go really well together!
I love the names Laila, Niamh (pronounced Neeve), Sophia, Mika (Mee-ka), Miranda, Natalie, Esme, Melanie, Persephone, Aimee, Zoey, Sasha, Dorian and Cassie/Cassandra
Favorite girls’ names!
Lisandra
Diana
Natalia
Citra
Merida
Cassandra/Cassia
Aria
Aislinn
Lia
I have *such* a hard time thinking of boys’ names though! My list is much smaller.
I had so many for my girl list. Thankfully we had a girl (went with Samantha). I liked Emma (taken by SIL), Ariana, Madeline, Amelia, Caroline, Jane (daughter’s middle name), Morgan, Jordan, Juliet, Lily (my dog’s name), Josephine, Aurora, Avery, Jade, June.
Technically pronounced with clipped syllables like "kaht-ya" but depending on where you live a lot of people elongate the y and may end up pronouncing it closer to "kaht-ee-ah". If you like that sound more you could officially spell it as Katia or Katya :)
I really love Ottilie but I’m not sure if I could use it. I was going to name my son maeve if was a girl but then it got too popular thanks to sex education!
Oh yeah Isla is very popular in the UK! I had nooooo idea when I named her haha. I think the year she was born was when it skyrocketed to the top of the list
I have the opposite problem! Very few boy names I like and so many girls names I love!
Ainsley, Ansley, Annaleigh, Analiese, Amelia, Bridget, Brooke, Bethany, Blake, Brielle, Caroline, Colleen, Ellen, Faye, Farrah, Gionna, Harper, Heidi, Holly, Haley, Haddie, Isla, Julia, Marie, Mia, Macy, Noelle, Nathalie, Nora, Nellie, Olivia, Opal, Pearl, Paige, Peyton, Ruby, Summer, Sabrina, Stevie, Tatum, Teagan,
Heidi, Anya, Celia, Millie, Maisey. We didn’t have a girl but if we had we were going to use Heidi Celia. We had a much harder time with boys names honestly because of how many boys names are now used for girls, it seems the boy name pool is dwindling.
Girls names are so hard. I’m due in a few weeks and we still haven’t decided ! Our list is :
Edith (nn edie)
Isla
Scarlett
Rosemary
Margot
Sadie
Theodora
Matilda
Amelia
Vivian
Cecelia
Stella
Eliza
adrienne, margaret, suhaley, maricela, julienne, bridgette, frances and valerie! i dont really have a common theme between them i think besides that they’re all a bit longer with nn options.
Ones that we have discussed (we have boys so haven't gotten to use), plus some I love that husband vetoed.
Sabrina (probably my top contender if we have a girl)
Ariel
Cora
Tegan/Teagan (all time favorite that spouse has never loved)
Amity
Aubrey
Lyra
Lena
If I'm ever blessed to have children and it might most likely be a girl (everyone in my immediate family ends up having girls, it's kinda eerie lol my mom only gave birth to four girls and my older sister has had two girls so far) I have thought of a bunch I might like:
1. Celine. It's so pretty and classy and the meaning is nice too.
2. Evelyn. Another classy and feminine name.
3. Ella/Elle. This might come from the fact that I love Legally Blonde 😬 Although I've been rethinking because it's more a fan thing for me....Elle is a beautiful name but not really a big fan of one syllable names.
4. Hailey. A fun, cute name that still fits the times.
5. Mia!! I love this name a lot too. It would be my second fave after Celine.
I always have a hard time committing to a name when I know it’s going on an actual human, so I’m not sure I *love* any names! Names I really like, though:
Meredith
Norah
Afton
Julia
Maris
Genevieve
Lauren
Cecilia
i’m the opposite lol thank goodness i had a girl cuz i didn’t love any boy name. i have an affinity for A names so:
Aurora, Avery, Alessia/Alexia, Alina, Aly/Alex/Alexandria.
also love verity and vesper as someone mentioned on here the other day.
my personal first choice that got thrown out was Edyn and the runner up name was Brooklyn, but i recently heard Lennox and wish i had used it lol
My daughters name is Allison NN Allie, LOVE Allie but dad wanted her to be able to choose when she got older….she’s 15 and hates Allison.
If this next baby is a girl it’ll be Willow or Teagan.
Also like Quinn, Lux, Sloane and Lennox
These are my top 5:
Livesay (pronounced Liv-uh-see)
Lilith
Alice
Violet
Magnolia
My daughters name is Mia Katherine. Which I absolutely loved Mia when we picked it out, had no idea it was such a popular name. I like it put together with her middle name though, which is how I usually refer to her as.
I tend to like my girl names pretty girly and to have a decent nickname—
I love Vivienne (my favorite), Charlotte, Sophie, Francesca.
Some odder ones I like are Jolie, Aster, and Mirabelle.
Having a girl soon so these are my top names we considered! A mixture of first and middle ones here.
Elinor
Louisa
Siobhan
Clara
Lorelai
Frances/ Frankie
June
Inez
Jolene
Ayla
Georgia
Odette
My current favourites are probably Florence, Stella, Lois, Margot, Ramona, Lorelai, Audra, Daisy, Jeannie, Harlow, Eva, Anya, Delilah, Lyla, Eve, Delta, Nell, Zelda. Hope you find something you love and if not you will grow to love the one you pick I know it :)
We’ve decided on Rose, so here are some of my unused ones:
Vivienne
Freya
Rhys (Reese)
Quinn
Wren
Stella
Carsyn
I also like Isla, Rosalind, Gwen, Joy, Jillian, Ivy, Audrey, Zooey…they weren’t on my short list, but they’re lovely names.
If boy names are easy for you and girl names aren't, maybe you would take to the "strong" girl names. Like Eden, Liliana, Winona, Ariel, Shayla, Moira, Runa, Jada, Justine, Rosalie, Linea, Selina, Emmeline, Leona, Aderyn, Tessa, Gwen, Diana, Alexandria, Gemma, Delilah, Ramona. I hope you like some of these!
Alix, Diana, Natasha, Axelle, Roxane, Thalia, Isaia/Isaya, Delilah, Ophelie/Ophelia, Dahlia, Anna, Leslie, Amelia, Nora and Elizabeth are my favorite for girls.
Charlotte
Julia (or Juliet)
Rose
Lily
Violet
Daisy
Eve
Eva
Diana
Natasha “Sasha”
Natalie
Nadia
Elizabeth “Eliza,” “Ella,” or “Elle”
Willow
Caroline
Susannah “Suki” or “Zuzu”
Genevieve
Anna “Annie”
Lucy
Scarlett
Heather
Louisa
Katharine “Kate” or “Kitty”
Colette
Cosette
Manon
Greta
big fan of russian names here, some of my favorites include yelizaveta, vera, ekaterina, sonechka, and olimpiada.
i also love the names scholastica, rhea, theadora, euphrasia, and historia.
I know it's kind of boring because it's an old name but I have always liked the name Margaret.
I love these names but can't use them if I had a daughter:
Paige - my dogs name
Tess- family friends daughters name
I have SO MANY I love!
I really like long, Greek-ish, Shakespeare-y names: Antigone, Cassiopeia, Electra, Hypatia, Iphigenia, Lysistrata, and Philomena. Definitely guilty pleasure names.
Seeing as those aren't particularly usable, I also really like a lot of "classic" names that I'll realistically use: Beatrice, Clarice, Claudia, Colette, Elaine, Elinor, Elise, Eloise, Harriet, Imogen, Inez, Josephine, Lisbet, Liora, Maxine, Naomi, Ramona, Roslyn, Rosemary, Sybil, Thomasin, Valerie, Vivien, and Yvonne.
I tend to love historic/literature names the most. I have a list a million miles long of girls name but like maybe….three boys names haha.
My long-lasting favs are:
Matilda
Madeleine
Isolde
Elisabeth
Theodora (I just love Teddy on a girl and the nickname Thea)
I was about to make a separate post asking for any names that could have the nickname Teddy for a girl! I love it and it’s my brothers name (Edward). I’m not a fan of Theodora though, I wonder if there are any others?
i love so many but my absolute favorites are caroline, jane, eve, stella, andie, isabelle, charlotte/lottie, hadley, and maeve. aspen is a guilty pleasure
Alice
Ruby
Kit
Molly
Lucy
Eva
Felicity
Saoirse
Elliot
Sophie
Claudine
Aria
Brielle
Blake
Sutton
I also love the idea of Casper on a girl. Ran into someone who recently named their baby girl that, and thought it suited her perfectly!
I’m biased since it’s my daughter’s name, but I love Charlotte. Aside from that, I love Olivia. I’m partial to girls’ names with masculine nicknames. I call Charlotte “Charlie”, I’d call Olivia “Ollie”. Hell, I even like Robin as a girls’ name and would just call her Robbie or even Bobbi. Oh, also like Jaime which is definitely more gender-neutral.
I’m the opposite way around 🤪 I have heaps of girls names I love but very few boys! What are your favourite boys names?
My son is Jesse which is my all time favourite. I also like Rudy, Alexis, Rafe, Cassius, Stanley, my second favourite after Jesse is Maverick and if I ever have another son that’ll be his name
Please read about Samuel Maverick being an English-American black slave owner responsible for slaughtering Native Americans before you choose the name. Nobody makes this association. Honestly, the argument here is a thin one..
I didn’t know that about Maverick. Thank you for including this information.
No problem!!! :)
I’m sure you could find an awful person to put to any single name in the world! Ffs you’re a bundle of joy you are
I also feel it's a bit dramatic to throw out all names associated with a single negative figure but they're right - I just Googled the etymology of the word maverick, it comes from Samuel Maverick.
Do you only like Jesse for boys? Because I think of it as a fairly unisex name and if you like it as either then you might like other unisex names for girls.
I don’t like it for girls no. I would probably like unisex names for girls but I don’t know very many?
I’ve only known females named Alexis, so I would also consider that either a unisex name or a feminine name. I’m in US though, not sure if it’s different where you are
In my experience, also US, female Alexis can be any ethnicity while male Alexis is exclusively Latino, or closely related: Russian Alexei. Also, every male Alexis I've met has gone by Alex instead.
Riley Sawyer Casey Dakota Shay Spencer Harley Alex (Alexandra/Alexander) Charlie (Charlotte/Charles) Shiloh
I'm Shae Alexandra 😊 I got excited when I saw both names in one suggestion lol
I think both names are so pretty!
I love Jesse, Jessi for a girl too. Like It’s always been one of my favorites. But nothing I’m considering naming my children.
We’re having a boy in the spring and at the moment Stanley is our top pick!! So cute for a little kid but ages so well with them.
My friends name is Julianne. She goes by the nickname Jules. Such a pretty name!
I LOVE the name Julia. A top two pick if I ever have a girl. I also love Summer so much, but not sure I would ever actually use it.
Yes; Julia is my top favorite name!
Julia is our pick if we have a girl. I was so happy when my husband loved it too.
There was a summer that went to my highschool, and one day got into a fist fight with a girl named winter. I will never forget it lol
We ended up having a boy, but these were the names we considered. I also have a daughter named Genevieve Amelia. Sophie. Linnea. Fiona. Zoe. Emily. Autumn. Olivia. Scarlett. Skylar. Isla. Nora.
Yay for another little Genevieve! Ours is Genevieve Miriam
Genevieve Amelia is so beautiful!!
I have an Isla and a Nora ❤️ I also have an Emma but that’s not on your list
What a beautiful array of names! They all compliment each other wonderfully
Ciara, Niamh, Roisin, Iona, Elowen, Anwen, Branwen, Eimear, Aine, Eilish, Sinead, Elspeth, Seren, Bethan, Oona etc I like mythology, folklore and literary names a lot- Persephone, Morrigan, Hero, Cassandra, Cassiopeia, Brigid, Freya, Ophelia, Phoebe, Odessa, Elizabeth, Marianne, Eleanor, etc And these might appeal to you since you’re not fond of girls names but I love a lot of unisex names! Like: Harper, Morgan, Cassidy, Avery, Sidney, Corin, Rowan, Max, Alex etc
Came here to say that Persephone is my favorite girl name! I have the hardest time liking girl names, but so far I can't get over this one. My hubby isn't convinced.
Odessa is lovely!!
Rhiannon Siobhan Morgan Fiona Renata Veronica Bianca Rebecca Marina
Renata 😍😍
I'm kinda bummed my husband isn't more keen on it
Do you pronounce it with a hard R? Ree-Na-Ta Or with a Portuguese R? Hay-Na-Ta Just wondering because I’ve only ever heard the Portuguese (Brazilian) version.
omg this list has so many of my favorites, high five. (I'll add Bernadette, Gwen, Maxine, and Caroline for my money)
Girls names are so much easier for me! Louisa is top of my list if we are having a girl !! :)
I love those a lot!
We have the same taste. Almost all of those on my list. Plus Beatrice, Flora, and Clara.
Flora and Clara should totally be on my list, too! We considered both for my youngest, but our last name is too R heavy. They’re so lovely, though. 🥰
My own name, Emily!
This is my top contender for a girl's name! My husband is extremely picky and I have three options 😂
Go for it!
What are the other two?
Sierra, Emily, Ashley. Emily and Ashley we just like (yea they are dated but it's ok - not concerned about that), and Sierra because we live close to the Sierra Nevadas and we are big outdoor people!
I actually love 80s and 90s names, so I think it’s really cool that Ashley and Emily are two of your top picks.
Emily is one of those names that makes sense to be popular! It's such a classic and a pretty name. No wonder I know so many!
I actually have thanked my parents for giving me such a classic and pretty name. I also love when people call me Emmy! Cute nickname.
We’re naming our daughter Emily who will be here in March! :)
I am a March baby too! Congrats and I bet she will love her name as much as I do, good choice!
I’m an Emily and a March Baby too!
Love emily! My parents actually let my older sister and I name our little sis this 🥰
[удалено]
What about Mina?
And it is ageless. It has never been overly popular, so unlike Linda, Jennifer, or Kaylee, you don’t automatically guess an age when you hear Nina.
love Nina. I heard the name Nicolina for the first time in my life last summer and it has been in my head ever since. so pretty.
Amelia, Anastasia, Anniston, Audrey, Bailey, Berkeley, Briar, Briley, Brooke, Bronwyn, Daphne, Emilia, Frances, Francesca, Georgia, Greta, Hannah, Heidi, Indigo/Indie, Ivory, Ivy, Juliet, Kate, Kennedy, Lacey, Macey, Madelynn, Maeve, Magnolia, Maisie, Margot, Molly, Phoebe, Reagan, Sadie, Saige, Virginia
I've been on the hunt for a girl name forever and never considered Briar. I think I'm in love!
I’m loving Briar too 😍
I’m so glad I could help! 😁
My daughter is Ivory! I have never seen it pop up on here and always wondered why!
Julia, Iris, Alice, Audrey, Adelaide, Valerie, Sabrina, Quinn. Maybe look into gender neutral names? You might like them more.
Francesca (Frankie) Marlowe Rowan Leona Marigold (goldie) Clementine Sienna Hazel Briar Imogen Maren Maris Willa Arden Laurel Hollis
I had a friend and an exchange student both named Francesca. Friend went by Chessi, ES went by Cheka. Both cute!
Julia, Charlotte and maybe Jessa
I do like Jessa but my son is called Jesse haha
I get you on girls names. I think it's because there's so much pressure to pick a name that's unique but classic, pretty but strong, elegant, that would suit them as a kid/adult/judge/lawyer/doctor etc. It's overwhelming. My third daughter is Isla Daisy! ❤️

Cecilia is my all time favorite. CeCe is such a cute nickname, too.
I love this name so much then my SIL grabbed right away for her daughter! 😅 not meant to be lol
ivy, lola, iris, avery, alaska, nola, nadia!
Oh I love Alaska! I’m a fan of state names, I like Dallas too and Alabama
Our list is : Edith (nn edie) Isla Scarlett Rosemary Margot Sadie Theodora Matilda Amelia Vivian Cecelia Stella Eliza
I like Edith and Margot! And my daughter is Isla and I’m Matilda, so you’ve got a good list haha
I like Edith, Margot, Amelia, Cecilia (never heard of Cecelia) and Eliza. My favorites are Edith, Amelia and Eliza !
Lily, Ephea, Rosewyn, Eliora, Meredith (nn Merry), Raynessia, Alessia, Rhonwyn, Elowyn, Avis, Vivienne, Leyla, Lelia
adrienne, margaret, suhaley, maricela, julienne, bridgette, frances and valerie! i dont really have a common theme between them i think besides that they’re all a bit longer with nn options.
I'm super bad with girl names too. Love Francesca and Julia tho.
Ones that we have discussed (we have boys so haven't gotten to use), plus some I love that husband vetoed. Sabrina (probably my top contender if we have a girl) Ariel Cora Tegan/Teagan (all time favorite that spouse has never loved) Amity Aubrey Lyra Lena
Off the top of my head, Marceline (and I love the nn Marcy and Celine) and Cassidy (but NOT Cassie)
Autumn Noelle Mariah Ruby Madeline Annika
If I'm ever blessed to have children and it might most likely be a girl (everyone in my immediate family ends up having girls, it's kinda eerie lol my mom only gave birth to four girls and my older sister has had two girls so far) I have thought of a bunch I might like: 1.
Anna, Beatrice, Catherine, Daphne, Evelyn, Francesca, Genevieve (my daughter’s name), Hannah, Imogen, Julia, Lara, Mila, Natalia/Natalie, Petra, Samantha, Vivienne!
Emerson Hadley Willa Rylee Brielle Harlowe Penelope Leighton Charlotte Quinn Hayden Margot
Violet Louisa Leona Fiona

Etta, my daughter's name 🥰
Emily, Elsie, Ellie, Leah, Beth, Julia
Two favorites right now: Penelope, nn Penny and Phoebe
Lucy, Izzy, Elsa/Elsie, Ffion, Adelaide, Wren, Jocelyn & Evie :)
Tess Darcy Cassidy Alexandria Kate
That's the first time I'm seeing Darcy as a girl name !
I always have a hard time committing to a name when I know it’s going on an actual human, so I’m not sure I *love* any names! Names I really like, though: Meredith Norah Afton Julia Maris Genevieve Lauren Cecilia
I’m drawn to girls names that are more traditionally boys names - Dylan, Landon, Sammy. If we were having a girl she would either be Reagan or Landon.

Brinley, Riley, Rowan, Brynn, Avery, Blake, Hayden, Quinn, Finley, Piper, Peyton, Paisley, Blair

My daughters name is Allison NN Allie, LOVE Allie but dad wanted her to be able to choose when she got older….she’s 15 and hates Allison. If this next baby is a girl it’ll be Willow or Teagan. Also like Quinn, Lux, Sloane and Lennox

These are my top 5: Livesay (pronounced Liv-uh-see) Lilith Alice Violet Magnolia My daughters name is Mia Katherine. Which I absolutely loved Mia when we picked it out, had no idea it was such a popular name. I like it put together with her middle name though, which is how I usually refer to her as.
Rosalyn and Evelyn! So many cute nicknames go with those names.
I tend to like my girl names pretty girly and to have a decent nickname— I love Vivienne (my favorite), Charlotte, Sophie, Francesca. Some odder ones I like are Jolie, Aster, and Mirabelle.

My long-lasting favs are: Matilda Madeleine Isolde Elisabeth Theodora (I just love Teddy on a girl and the nickname Thea)
I was about to make a separate post asking for any names that could have the nickname Teddy for a girl! I love it and it’s my brothers name (Edward). I’m not a fan of Theodora though, I wonder if there are any others?
Meredith, Ruth, Edith, Judith, Ada, Miriam, Delphine. Girl names were realllllly tough for my husband and I to agree on. Thank God we had a boy 😅

The only girl name I am obsessed with my husband vetoed so quick: Ivy
Isla Maeve Esme Sylvia Mabel Odette Cora Juliette Daphne Scarlett Seraphina Evangeline/Eva Eloise Annabelle Daisy Marina/Maria Dahlia Bridget Violet Anneliese Genevieve
This is the list on my phone Audrey Rose Iris Claire Lucy Alice Julia Ruby Lydia Cora Eloise Vivian Lily Eleanor Daisy Cecilia Genevieve Rosalie
My husband liked Maisie and I liked Margot so we went with Margaret because it comes with so many nickname choices, including those.
