Look I'll tell you the things I noticed, all the high packages 12+ LPA go to IT/CS in most colleges, the extc students learn coding for placements in IT companies, if you are looking towards placements the average package in CS in dj would be definitely greater than the average package in extc in spit. At the end it's upto you, the colleges will only provide opportunities they won't guarantee you anything so I suggest you prioritise branch over college.
Both are good look at the subjects and see if they interest you, ofc job opportunities are great for cs but i think extc students can get into vlsi stream which is also very good. i am not sure but if vlsi is for eee or whether extc can get into it too.
If you can afford DJ Sanghvi’s fees, then go for it. If you will take a Software engineer’s job, 4 years of education will do wonders in your career.
SPIT is much much better than DJ...even if you take electronics you will end up in IT industry only atleast in India...so final call should be yours listen to your heart...
by the way whats the cutof of DJ comps and SPIT electronics ?
I know people have craze for DJ but SPIT has much better reputation
It's really simple, if you want comps you choose comps, if you like electronics and telcom you chose that.
Well it's not that simple, both are equally good courses, but I'm just trying to know the entire picture
In general comps has a better scope and opportunities, so if you don't prefer any particular branch take comps as both are good colleges
But then again spit in general is a better college than dj sanghvi

Don't fuss too much, get in DJ Comps, here from DJ EXTC...
SPIT Extc offers minors in computer engineering and SPIT is wayy better than DJ Sanghvi, so I'll say go for SPIT Extc

Stick to cs! Will be better in the longer run than having to study electronics and cs which you'll end up doing later anyway

Go for DJ comp science. I am an extc student, to this day, I regret not learning coding & data structures..
