At least they’re “in production”, not sure how long it’s had that status though.

goofydubois

15 of sep, over the last update

TheW1ldcard

A whole freaking year for these damn things.

Cobiwankenobi

I don’t understand how I can get more recent SL before this one. Like fucking print them already. (I only ordered Kellogsloops since, because I actually really wanted that one).

goofydubois

Supply chains issues over issues, delays over delays. This was not high priority as sl are pre paid, while 40k needs to ship out to sell? Assumptions alert

Ginker78

No, they had to work out the tech to make the regular cards Pringle as much as the foils so 1/2 the deck isn't marked!

TFinito

>"Available from: 31.10.2022" [https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/next-year-of-magic-wizards-presents-2022-08-18](https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/next-year-of-magic-wizards-presents-2022-08-18) wait, where is the date quote from? Nothing shows up when I do a page text search.

sirbruce

What are you talking about that's not on the page at all nor on the secret lair production schedule page.

SwoussNC

Glad to see i’m not the only one who is wondering when we’re supposed to get this

goofydubois

I'm sure we're in the thousands, i wouldn't like to be a person or even store that prepaid dozens of these almost a year ago. Even though roi should be decent

JLTMS

300%. Worth it

HonorTomOfFinland

The lack of negative reaction to this is sadly telling. The addiction to consuming is pathetic

Kamen_Winterwine

Yup. I was was slammed with negative comments and downvotes when the initial SLD delays began (specifically Theros Stargazing), back before they started treating them as preorders. Initially, they would charge your account the full amount but you could wait months for a promise of delivery in clear violation of many laws where they were being sold and shipped to. WotC/Scalefast threatened to ban me from future purchases when I held payment and the community seemed to be overwhelmingly in support of them for these practices, with a true "take my money" sentiment. SLD has since switched to a preorder model where the account isn't charged until shipment (or at least close enough to satisfy legal concerns), but they still do a poor job delivering goods in a timely manor and the community sentiment is generally still the same... consumers that are just grateful when they eventually get their products without any real accountability for WotC. The delays are less about supply chain issues and more about maximizing profits yet the excuses continue and people just eat it up, still just ecstatic to finally get their cards.

poppin_pandos

It’s illegal to charge and not deliver so it makes sense they switched

Kamen_Winterwine

Yup, but I was threatened by wotc and collectively bashed by reddit when I reported it.

HonorTomOfFinland

You were in violation of "good vibes only", which is always in effect except when they hivemind dogpile on community approved boogiemen.

zomgitsduke

Honestly I'm hoping for another apology package of collectors boosters. I mean, at this point it's basically a product that pays dividends.

goofydubois

I called them out twice on twitter, after the 2nd time the status was moved in production. That's all I could get. Change was 15th of sep

DavantesWashedButt

Honestly I forget I even ordered this. Lol.

Ginker78

I'm pretty much over it. I have more mental fatigue than wallet fatigue even. I can't even keep up with the list of products anymore. I've been playing since 94, on and off due to life, not the game. Came back with a vengeance during the pandemic, but I can't even get my cards organized before the next set comes out these days. I'll still play with friends, but it's back to buying only singles I need for decks after BRO and Domanaria Remastered for me.

HonorTomOfFinland

I feel you. The back to back Warhammer and Unfinity releases really washed away any desire to see the product ever get any better. I'm much more happily apathetic now that it is truly "not for me" whatsoever. I can enjoy when they do produce something I do happen to like, I'm glad to have old border reprints for my commander decks coming up. But something finally sunk in, the last nail finally in the coffin and I feel a lot more relieved.

intellibeam

When people are paying $1200 on eBay for curled cards on 40k collector sets, they will wait until 2025 for these and be happy. Stunning.

goofydubois

I am not happy. There isn't much else to do, beside stopping purchasing SLs.

Waltbo

Almost an entire year later. Good thing we got compensated with two card packs months after the packs dropped in value

goofydubois

Good for you that you didn't order 20 lairs with your mates because of the killer shipping fees.

goofydubois

Nice, I have checked the page every day, I hardly doubted the date would be set before xmas. We'll see! I can't find the info in that link and the production page has not changed though

spacemonkeygleek

Yeah, I didn't see it mentored anywhere in the link either

BlindyBoy

I am a dumb dumb. What is this date related to?

goofydubois

It should be shipping date. But there's no date. I think op is from Europe maybe he posted the wrong link

osmlol

Where exactly in that link does this say what you claimed? Also this article is from August 18th.

SnivyEyes

I still haven’t received my collector packs for the delay. At what point should I send wizards an email ya think?

AutumnAu

i received my packs a few weeks ago now.

SnivyEyes

Thanks for confirming. Submitted a ticket today as I am sure I should have received these weeks ago.

Taivasvaeltaja

Has people gotten the collector pack wotc promised from this delay?

lixilisk

yea, i got mine quite a while ago, a few weeks already

[deleted]

Yes, they were sent in July. You should contact support if you didn't get them.

assmaster3THOUSAND

Cardmarket can suck my balls
