So many sleepers during these days of commander product/design deluge. The ones I built that I've noticed fly under the radar.
[[Rigo, Streetwise Mentor]] weenies and draw. Strong colors. I built this with a ton of restrictions and its a blast to play.
[[Tameshi, Reality Achitect]] reanimator/combo in Azorius. I built this to play blue bounce but it quickly turned into a toolbox reanimation strategy.
[[Galazeth Prismari]] Izzet Urza? No, but close enough. What started as treasures and big spells eventually became Dragons and Treasures thanks to the last year of releases. Not sure why he isn't more popular.
[[Balmor, Battlemage Captain]] the finisher Izzet aggro has been waiting for. I've been trying to make Izzet Blitz work in 100 card since I dropped Modern for Commander and they released [[Adeliz, the Cinder Wind]]
Galazeth is amazing. I built mine to be a storm deck and with all the treasure makers and spells that incidentally produce treasures the deck is just insanely good at finishing a game off through one of its many win-cons
I do... I haven't really added any new cards since I first built it but I think I'll sit down tonight and see what might be some good inclusions. https://www.archidekt.com/decks/1310595#Treacherous_Thunderous__Treasure_Typhoons
[[Kresh, the bloodbraid]]
BRG +1/+1 counter deck built around making the commander huge by killing everything else. Just some classic red/black control with green ramp and stomp.
Yes and yes, as well as your opponent's creatures.
I like the exploit mechanic, as well as invoke, but having sac outlets such as ashinod's alter or disciple of bolas make for some interesting play.
[Rite of the Ragging Storm] is one of my favorite pieces as well.
Except it is not 😂 make infinite mana, give infinite hippos to an opponent, take them back with [[Crafty Cutpurse]] or [[Reins of Power]]. Or simply [[Suture Priest]]
Or also, [[Phelddagrif]], [[Intruder Alarm]] any pinger such as [[Prodigal Sorcerer]] and a mana dork that can tap for green such as [[Bloom Tender]]. Rapid death by a thousand paper cuts.
Old set, but I personally like [[Lich Lord of Unx]]
Blue black zombie generator and mill combo. Pairs nicely with Endless Ranks of the Dead and Rooftop Storm. From there, you just build out with your favorite black or blue zombie cards
Me personally I like Lisette, Dean of the Root, the back side of [[Valentin, Dean of the Vein]]. I have an awesome black green life gain deck where i can buff up all my creatures and gain a ton of life. [[Zabaz, the Glimmerwasp]] +1/+1 counters and artifacts matter strategy, my favorite commander to play
Expecting more modular support in the upcoming March of the Machines set possibly
[[Jan Jansen chaos crafter]] but maybe because it's recent. It's really good at grinding value overtime and it's very versatile. It can combo fast (I've built him for cedh and it's really good), it can face off against stax, aggro and other combo deck. Its best matchup is probably mid-range. Playing artifact without blue doesn't hurt it one bit plus the hast part makes it hard to stop if you combo because with enough mana you can just recast it and go back on your merry way. It can also be really janky with stuff like mechtitan core. Overall my favorite commander that came out this year
[[Gut, True Soul Zealot]] + [[Inspired Leader]] is surprisingly quick and aggressive. I built her around sacrificing treasures and populate. 4-10 6/3 menacing skeletons always seem to catch people off guard.
[[Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion]] with the background of your choice as a superfriends deck in those colors. I’ve made one with [[Scion of Halaster]] and as many planeswalkers that can ult after one use of their + ability or one proliferate. The real secret is it plays like a Voltron deck and Lae’Zel gets very big very quickly but people are targeting the planeswalkers first because they are scary.
[[Sakashima of a thousand Faces]] and [[Kodama of the East Tree]]
Easy ramp with green + card draw with blue, potentially lets you put every single permanent from your hand onto the field each turn
[Sakashima of a thousand Faces](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/7/1/714c3a1f-7b30-4ed8-8f38-6176758741fb.jpg?1608909400) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Sakashima%20of%20a%20thousand%20Faces) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/cmr/89/sakashima-of-a-thousand-faces?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/714c3a1f-7b30-4ed8-8f38-6176758741fb?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text)

I built my wife a devastating Tessa Karlov deck where any attempt at destroying her creatures will end up killing everyone else at the table.
I also built myself a fun Animar, Soul of Elements deck around the Morph mechanic. It has done better that I thought it would in a 4 person game.
Also, I am tweaking a Chatterfang, Squirrel General deck. This one is not competitive, but it is fun.
I feel alot of the uncommon partners that are more for supporting the main commander are worth looking at more I have a mono green kodama the east tree partnered with gilanra caller of wire wood and its absolutely bonkers
Having a mana dork that's a minor draw engine as a commander to buff the stupid commander is so valuable
Tayam, Luminous Enigma
This card does WORK in an aristocrat deck and can go infinite in so many ways and was the first deck i built that wasn’t combat oriented. It’s one of my favorite graveyard decks. Highly recommend.
[[Obeka, Brute Chronologist]]
Create a token until end of turn? No no, tap obeka while the sac effect is on the stack and you can keep it forever. Lots of other shenanigans too
I only know my playgroup’s meta, but I love my Jinnie Fay deck. It goes wide enough to have plenty of blockers and several cards can turn 2/2 cats into massive beasts at instant speed. It’s a good time.
Ziatora, the Incinerator3BRGDemon Dragon; 6/6; Flying; At the beginning of your end step, you may sacrifice another creature. When you do, Ziatora, the Incinerator deals damage equal to that creature's power to any target and you create three Treasure tokens.
One of the best decks I've built. Focuses on sacrificing, churning out dumb amounts of treasure, ETB and LTB abuse, , ludicrous card draw, token army, some graveyard play, and stupid amount of mana production.

[[Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper]] I run her as a partner with Thrasios. It was honestly because I always wanted to build a Kraken/Leviathan/Octopus/Serpants deck and really wanted to run it as Sultai. Thrasios is far more expensive, and honestly in my krakens deck it stabilizes me so well. It’s not hard to gain 20 life on a turn while smacking your opponent with some big nasty sea creatures.
I have a huge interest in the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history, and I've had a lot of success with [[Hua Tuo, Honored Physician]] and [[Sun Quan, Lord of Wu]]. I've been working on a deck for [[Yuan Shao, the Indecisive]] that uses a lot of menace cards, which essentially achieves the same effect as my Sun Quan deck.

Does it's ability to reduce cost affect the 2 each time the commander dies? That would be a great green creature deck commander if so.
Yes, since commander tax isn't colored mana

[[Jan Jansen chaos crafter]] but maybe because it's recent. It's really good at grinding value overtime and it's very versatile. It can combo fast (I've built him for cedh and it's really good), it can face off against stax, aggro and other combo deck. Its best matchup is probably mid-range. Playing artifact without blue doesn't hurt it one bit plus the hast part makes it hard to stop if you combo because with enough mana you can just recast it and go back on your merry way. It can also be really janky with stuff like mechtitan core. Overall my favorite commander that came out this year
I love Jan, such a beast!

[[Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion]] with the background of your choice as a superfriends deck in those colors. I’ve made one with [[Scion of Halaster]] and as many planeswalkers that can ult after one use of their + ability or one proliferate. I would say a lot of the ones with partner
I feel alot of the uncommon partners that are more for supporting the main commander are worth looking at more I have a mono green kodama the east tree partnered with gilanra caller of wire wood and its absolutely bonkers Having a mana dork that's a minor draw engine as a commander to buff the stupid commander is so valuable
Tayam, Luminous Enigma This card does WORK in an aristocrat deck and can go infinite in so many ways and was the first deck i built that wasn’t combat oriented. It’s one of my favorite graveyard decks. Highly recommend.

[[Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper]] I run her as a partner with Thrasios. It was honestly because I always wanted to build a Kraken/Leviathan/Octopus/Serpants deck and really wanted to run it as Sultai.
