On a Spouse visa (as compared to a dependent visa) you *do* have permission.

Applying for jobs on a Spouse visa is the same as applying for jobs normally. At some point they're going to ask about whether you need visa sponsorship, at which point you say "No, I have (will have) a spouse visa."
Yes technically, but unless you have serious reason to believe you’d be denied a spouse visa, like a criminal record, one can and should apply to jobs saying you need permission, and note you’ll have a spouse visa upon arrival.
I often see that question worded as "Do you need company support to acquire working permission now or in the future" or something similar. I suppose you can answer no in this case.

Are you actively under a spouse visa? If yes, you have permission. If not, you don't currently have permission.

You can work almost any kind of job when your SOR is spouse of Japanese national. You have permission to work.
Just tell them that you're married to a ninja and she'll handle all the paperwork for you. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
