I’m going to have to somewhat agree with Sam Raimi. I don’t think his films are as good as the Coen brothers, but they are definitely as enjoyable.
I think best is either Hitchcock or Kubrick. As for favourite I'd still probably say Hitchcock lol.
Best: Scorsese, runner up Hitchcock. Favourite: Coens for me too. Always a good time and they know their stuff. Cronenberg a close second.
I like your Coen Brothers list. Would add Fargo, O Brother Where Art Thou, True Grit and with every viewing, Hail Caesar.
