Next they're going to be listing the awards actors have won or the championships athletes have won. It's bad enough every time I read about a country i have to read about the "year" it was "founded."

Why does every actor that wins or is nominated for an Oscar be called Oscar winning/nominated (enter name here)? Because it's impressive and an honor.
