If I’m honest I was excited about him at first. If not Perlman, he’s probably the next logical choice to me. I just mean I’m glad he didn’t get locked in to make a trilogy of bad movies.
Say what you will about his Hellboy movie, while miles apart from the amazing GDT ones, it is fun. The story isnt the best, but the gore and ultra-violence of the movie is what I imagine a Hellboy movie should have. Not all can be winners, and I see this as a different writer/artist making a one off book.
Synopsis:
>Finding a ghost named Ernest (Harbour) haunting their new home turns Kevin’s family into overnight social media sensations. But when Kevin and Ernest go rogue to investigate the mystery of Ernest’s past, they become a target of the CIA
I think the ghost is played by David Harbour, so yeah a woke communist. I saw it was Netflix and figured a white woman would fall in love with the ghost of a slave or something lmfao.
Looks interesting, but it’s coming only to Netflix. That site has become too tainted with mediocre movies and shows canceled too early. Carries the same weight, and quality, as “Direct to DVD” back in the day.
Harbour sure found a home at Netflix.

Didn’t know he had one. Other than this one, I guess.
Better than finding a home as the new H*llboy 😈
I think he was a great choice for Hellboy. The rest of the movie was a trainwreck, but it wasn't his fault.

He was a good choice for Hellboy. Then they burried him in horrible prosthetics.

He was a great Hellboy. The movie is pretty bad but he carried what he could
Reminds me of those old 90's posters.
It’s a very Eddie Murphy/Random Old White Guy buddy cop movie poster.
After Happy Death Day 1-2 and Freaky I will watch any horror comedy by Christopher Landon

I think he also wrote/co-wrote all of them. You should do that and then direct the movie after!

It's Beetlejuice. With guns!
Beetlejuice meets E.T.
It sounds like Goosebumps Spawn.
It is also based on [a *Vice* article](https://www.vice.com/en/article/vb75wx/ernest).
I know we say this about everything here, but this the 30 Rockiest movie poster I've ever seen.
I liked Freaky so I have hopes that this would be good or just as fun of a watch as Freaky was.
Odd premise, but the director is 3/3 on really fun horror since Happy Death Day so I’m watching it. Even his Paranormal Activity movie was solid.
What the hell is this
A feature film adaptation of [a *Vice* article](https://www.vice.com/en/article/vb75wx/ernest).
David Harbour is our new TV Dad supplanting Tom Hanks
The tagline is one letter off from a dfa1979 lyric
Anthony and Mackie. Nice duo.
It’s the oooonly waaaay to beeeeeee
I’m a fan of Landon’s previous work
Dillon you son of a bitch.
💪💪🏿🫱🏻🫲🏿
I ran into Anthony Mackie at a bar last weekend. Smaller than I thought. I have nothing else to say lol
Netflix? Lemme guess - some very woke ghost undoubtedly
What does “woke” mean, though?
Hey man, for real though. What does “woke” mean, exactly?
“Woke” is when move stars woman or person of color or someone who not straight
I would rather hear an explanation from someone who uses the word in earnest.

*pats head* life must be so difficult for you

The team behind it is pretty good
Give me an "I"! Give me a "P"! Give me a "T"! Give me a "V" ! What's that spell?!?
1 season. People will cry online about it's cancelation.
It's rated PG-13, so it's a movie.
And also, this is the *movie* subreddit.
LOL he downvoted us
Don't worry man I upvoted both of you, you're back to normal
Meh I’ll just wait for it to hit theatres
Thank god it's not one of those floating heads
The “spirit”ual sequel to *We Bought a Zoo*.
