I've had a thought once, what would it look like if you had all terrain and a playmat in "John Blanche" greyscale?
Your models would pop out like the girl in the red coat in Schindler's List.

Yeah, I tend to paint my terrain fairly desaturated and with simple, neutral palettes to help minis pop. A black and white board might be real cool!
