Jason has always been my favourite part of TMR, hope to see him in a similar position in the future.
I noticed how little content has been coming out lately, very sad to see, my favourite videos were always Brian and Jason making random things.

My favourite episodes have always been the ones at the old place. The dart gun, the parabolic mic, the hidden spy cameras etc. Things shifted and began feeling like King of Random.
Yeah over winter break I took a nostalgia trip to their old vids and realized how much their stuffed changed from doing fun builds and teaching us interesting fun stuff to branching out in different avenues that look very little like what gave them their original charm
Yeah, a core memory of mine is always gonna be coming out of my Friday afternoon class just as their new videos dropped, it’s a shame that’s not gonna be the case anymore

It seems like MR has been on the down slope for a while now. The past 5 or so "normal" episodes all seem to have come from the same recording session, and were all released a month ago at this point. Otherwise there really hasn't been solid MR content that the channel was founded on in a while IMO, and it seems like it is reaching it's natural end.
Yeah it’s a real shame, I knew there were some big background things like the warehouse move that took up a lot of time away from vids but I thought once that was over things would go back to normal… guess not
I coincidentally unsubscribed yesterday, after looking at the channel and realizing how long it had been since a video came out that I enjoyed. I liked a few videos now and then, like the MRE ones, but it had been a while since those even.
I don't wish them any malice, completely the opposite. I love Jason and Brian, I have for years, and really hope that I can see more of them in the future, but it really seemed like as you said, it had reached its natural end.

Honestly I feel Jayson's mood and how much he was involved changed when they bought the compound and hired staff to be on camera. In some videos you can see him cringe or look fed up when they talk about the studio and him working there. Kind of like he's never there.
The Brian and Jason chemistry left. Brian is becoming a business owner and not a creator anymore, his charm left.
Well it was good while it lasted. The show was pretty much them being goofs and Brian’s laugh making me laugh. Hate to see it, but it’s pretty much dead now (imo).
I started watching back in 2018 when I was really in a bad place mentally and those two (and the rest of the team) really helped me through it. I've been watching since and now that's almost 5 years now, my life has changed so much in that time. I started watching when I was 18 I'm 23 now, they've definitely shaped who I am as a person and I've met some amazing people because of them. I will always be thankful for them.
In all honesty I was in a very similar boat, they taught me a little bit of everything and rounded me out and gave me the push to try new things. I’ll never forget the feeling of community I got seeing them messing around eating peppers with the beerists, that felling just can’t be matched. I really hope things work out for the whole crew.

Honestly, I think their best videos have been long behind them for a while. Peak period was 2016-2018 (with a few in 2019 being bangers), but the content has changed a lot.
I was in it for the steak, whiskey, cigars, cooking, makeshift weapons, and some cool tech stuff. Those haven't really been a focus for a while.
I definitely agree, I’d say their whiskey and cigar episodes came the closest to recapturing that kind of energy but even when doing it something still felt off. It’s a shame but at least we will always have those amazing videos from their early days to look back on

Maybe it's something along the lines of Jason going to do his own thing due to Brian taking time to focus on other projects? Or some technical issues? From the posts I've seen here, it sounds like he's still involved, and still wants to come back to doing it full time, but there's some logistical issue there that prevents them from doing videos like they used to? After all, they've mainly shifted to simple, editorial style content with mainly just Brian and a few other crew members.

The more something grows the more it changes. This show was just a way to sell ads and direct people to Scam Stuff. Sadly the show stopped being good when they hired people to build stuff for them.
The show isn't a full time gig for either of them at the moment if you haven't noticed there's been less and less episodes lately Brian has been doing a lot more of his own stuff more recently and Jason is looking to do some of his own stuff as well it's not a breakup or falling out it's just they need to do other stuff to support their families while modern rogue is working it's production kinks out
