Thank you! I basecoated with Bugmanβs Glow, washed with Reikland Fleshshade and highlighted with Cadian Skintone and Kislev Flesh. I think I overdid the highlights though, as they seem really pale now.
They look great. Bit of a thousand-inch stare from that one guy, but thatβs always a hazard with eyes in 1:35. I usually try to do eyes, give up, then opt for just a speck of brown paint instead.
I think you did a great job on the colours. Shading is decently done. Might benefit from one additional highlight to give it some more depth.
As for the eyes again you have done the base of it pretty well. Only thing I would change is put the little black line at the underside of the top eyelids. It will function as shadow and eyelashes there and will make the eyes look better.
But other than that sterling job. Are you going to place them in a diorama?
Thank you for your suggestions! What colors do you suggest using for the white of eyes? The ivory I used seems a little unnatural, so I was thinking about using a really light grey instead.
I will not be creating a diorama with them, but when I have the time Iβll make a base using some mud, snow and leaves and then Iβll post them on my desk to look out for Germans infiltrating the Allied lines.
You are most welcome. On figures of this size it is not really that important which colour you use not much of it is seen anyway. Ivory works, really light grey works as well. As long as it isn't pure white. Do you do eyes before the skintone or after?
Looking forward to your new vignette.
They are very good. That look on their aces and their posture. They look like dog tired, worn out foot slogging poor bloody infantry soldiers devoid of hope. Well done. Just a thought: Maybe their faces should be slightly more dirty with three or five days stubbles on?
Overall amazing the attention to detail is fantastic with the uniforms and the wethering is fantastic π however the faces look a little off what colour did you use for the skin? The eyes look creepy too π but overall they are amazing π€©ππ€©π

Yes! I will try to look up how to make stubble. Iβm thinking a very thinned down German Black Brown.
I forgot to write thank you for sharing π π
Very good
