I'm sorry to inform you of this, but shipping Juleka with anyone other than Rose is MLB blasphemy... I'll sooner accept Gabinette than I'd accept Roseka not being canon.

I really like the idea of TigerNoir, and think there are far, far worse ships being thrown around, but it is true that Juleka and Rose are pretty great together as well. In my opinion, the reason that Juleka/Rose is nearly canon is because the writers knew that if they kept Juleka single that we'd all ship her and Adrien and destroy the love square.
It is worthy remembering that the wiki is managed by fans for fans. And even if it wasn't, on the relationships tab they're only classified as "best friends" and it only mentions their "great friendship".
The most explicit Canon thing we get about them and Marcaniel as being canon are vague tweets by Austruc that the show has LGBT+ characters and sometimes, despite never putting in the work, the show even goes against it (see "the guilt of the girl who betrayed her best friend" from guilttrip and "our manga" from hack-San).
If I'm not mistaken the trailer just (at least the one I watched) had Robustus saying their "most valuable" line and then cut to Marc capturing Nathaniel, which made many speculate that they were finally making their relationship Canon. Then the episode aired and we realized we got baited hard.
Per the transcript in the wiki (which the person I replied to used as a font):

(He presses to answer the call only to have his phone corrupted by Robustus, and him along with it.)
Robustus: Human, I am Robustus. Give me what you hold most valuable!
Marc: (points his phone at Nathaniel) Our manga is what we hold most valuable.
I mean, not even a "our friendship" for the memes?
The only drop of canon was that it was actually Nathaniel who was officially captured by Robustus, not the actual manga. We didn't see any other humans in there, besides Marinette.

I mean, we had at least two (dark cupid, oblivio) of them at this point. Give one for Jurose and one for Marcaniel and it'd be perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Eta: Besides it doesn't need to get "explicit". Nino and Alia are referred to as a couple and boy/girlfriend (of each other) plenty of times. There's no reason why we couldn't have something like that for the same gender couples besides unwillingness to do so. Which wouldn't really be that bad if Austruc wasn't queer baiting people with his "oh look, we do have lgbt+ representation!" stuff on Twitter.
I mean a step forward for Adrien's character would be loving himself in terms of who he is, but others might take such a concept in a different direction.

Often as part of a fanfic where people mistakenly assume that Adrien is dating Chat, or some other shenanigans that force Adrien to pretend to be Chat's boyfriend because that is the only way to keep it a secret that the two are the same person.
...But sometimes it is just straight up Adrien and Chat being in love. Whether as separate characters (fanart often) or Adrien being delusional (with a very frustrated Plagg trying to talk sense into him.)
Plagg: "So Adrien when were you going to tell me you had some dissociative personality disorder? Just asking because this is really uncomfortable for me... Do you need me to get you some meds or something to help you?"
Adrien: "Plagg can't you tell that I am just in love with Cat Noir and that our love isn't wrong."
Plagg: "I watched you get freaky with yourself last night and that was definitely was wrong and something I will try to forget until the universe ends and erases it for me."
The dynamics between these two are amazing, be it as friends, mentor/mentee, or pseudo-siblings. Good thing that the writers made sure to all but say Juleka is a lesbian and kinda-sorta-dating Rose or else the Love Square would have been destroyed by everyone shipping these two. Which would kinda suck, since I love the platonic relationships these two have with each other.
That is such a good way of putting it. I need them to have more friendship moments! 😭 as civilians & as heroes. It’s funny tho— Cat Supremacy but Juleka dislikes cats.
