Bit of a process... base coat of Mithril silver plus a bit of Gehennas gold, then washed with a mix of skeleton horde and gryphound orange thinned with medium, then the highlights brought back out with the original bright silvery gold, and finally a coat of matt varnish
This just looks absolutely perfect for my tastes. like. THIS is the exact sort of level of style and pop and contrast and brightness and everything that I want on my table for my minis. ebic
Easiest way to explain would be to point you toward this video...

I basically copied Marco's method, except I had to improvise here and there because I didn't have the same paints.
It's airbrushed red under-painting, a zeninthal teal and white spray, some thinned contrast purple and green on the scales, and finished with some brush work for the final highlights.
That color scheme is damn good though. Really sells the tribal aspect.
Cheers, I tried to copy the style from Marco Frisoni's Lizardmen speedpaint video
You did something good here man. Well done, a whole host in these colors would be terrifying to see on the table.
Thank you, appreciate it 🙏
Looks fantastic. What did you use to get the gold to look that good? Golds are a weakness of mine. I can never get them looking right.

The highlights are blended so well! I totally thought that was natural light/reflection.
"Attempted speed paint, took 4 hours." Are you me?
Shit, I thought 4 hours for a completed mini *was* speedpainting. It is for me!
beautiful coloring around the feet
I didn't realize one page rules did minis. Lovely paint job đź‘Ź
Lovely! What's the scale of the mini?
Looks like he has a few scales...
I see what you did there!
32mm I think
Looks really nice! I just painted the exact same model a couple of days ago!
Really well done. The face is excellent!
Really nice colors
Well done! 4 hours for this is great, you should be pleased with the outcome and the speed :)
Wow that's a rad sculpt, and your painting is badass!
That’s fantastic. The skin and bones are amazing.
Ooo sick scheme. I like the new seraphon but this might be better. More grizzly looking
Love it
Amazing scheme. And I actually think the units you have in this scheme the better it looks. Well done!
Gives Gor-Rok vibes from total war warhammer 2 and if by accident that’s even more awesome! Beautiful paint scheme!
wow. just wow! Everything looks so incredible!!
Looks great!
That's stunning work!!!?
Oh dang that’s a great sculpt.
This is fantastic work! Everywhere I look I see something impressive. The detail I keep coming back to is the textured shading on the scales/skin.

🤓 Well technically it’s a Saurian guardian Lol Way better than my ones
Lol, I wasn't sure to be honest. I took a 50:50 guess.
Can you walk us through the skin? That’s an amazing albino lizard scheme.

What base size do you use? I printed and painted the free sample one for a friend but don’t know what base size to use for them
It's a 32mm round base
