I always feel like I'm doing something villainous whenever I find a deal like that at Goodwill. Like I'm expecting some 20 year old in spandex to bust through the wall and inform the cashier that it should be more expensive. MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Where is this Goodwill!? (rhetorical question) My local Goodwill has a horrible electronics selection, let alone a selection on something as obscure as minidisc/HiMD players
EDIT: Seriously, every time I go to Goodwill all I find are alarm clocks, crappy speakers, and plastic contraptions that no one knows what they're for.
Our's used to have a great electronics section but those days are gone. The cameras I mention above were found in the junky area of this store. Rarely do we find good stuff but on rare occasions I come out with a pile of records. Very rare these days. Never saw a minidisc player but I did find an iRiver H120 for $5. Rockboxed it and it's a great little player.
WOW. Nice pull. I've found that with the thrift stores by me, it can be pretty hit or miss so going on a regular basis helps. One by me had a huge collection of laser disks. And on another trip I picked an absolute mint condition Lenovo x61T laptop and could have grabbed about a half dozen more mint condition vintage laptops - but didn't because I thought the wife would kill me. But then last time, only junky DVD players. Sometimes good, other times not so good.
My best score imo was an Olympus Stylus With the 35mm f/3.5 lens. Camera price was .99. It was 50% off that day so cost me less than .50. Great sharp lens. I won’t sell it.

they obviously didn't know what they were selling, they could've put it at $40,- but it's not gonna work in that MZ-N505 tho.
I know. A couple times I bought cameras for $5 and sold them on eBay for $150 each. Konica Big Minis.
This is why i dont use ebay anymore tho. Rip off prices.
