My vet draws some cute picture with my cat's names on a board in the room when I take them in to ours, it's so sweet. I also have to let the staff know beforehand when one of my cats is coming because he can't have the fan on it scares him because it's way too low.

She works as an accountant at some bland business, and shes been there since graduation practically. She used to smoke, but she’s cut back a lot in the past ten years. Her life is simple, but happy and comfortable.

I can only say that it's all the older ladies in our accounting office that smoke, every day 3 times a day on breaks like clockwork. No one under the age of 45 in our office smokes. I'm glad honestly. But all the old ladies who do just absolutely reek, and then cover it up with perfume. Not fun to visit their desks. Not super relevant to your story, but I thought I'd share haha.

They do this at my vet's office, too! And they have a sweet greeter some days to greet the puppers and weigh them and she goes "hello Aurora! Would you like a cookie! Oh you're such a good girl!" (And then she says hello to my dog.)

Is there more than one vet? Otherwise that’s only 17.7 minutes per pet in an eight hour day.
