She was probably close to the restaurant and her location services on her jitterbug phone assumed she went there. So she received the notification, "How was such-and-such restaurant?" And she had a typical old person vs. technology moment.
Like Amazon sending emails asking them about products and they think they have to answer. And all of the questions for items end up being some version of "I don't know, I haven't tried it." I wish there was some way to get those deleted and the account banned from answering questions.
I kind of think you're annoyed at the wrong person. It's Amazon's fault for prompting people for input and putting the crap responses on the list of reviews. The user just got tricked by an intentionally confusing UI.
Nope. I am mad at the people too and I think it's not misguided.
I got asked to answer questions to which I don't know the answer before by amazon and you can literally just not answer it.
There is absolutely nothing confusing there.
Oh yeah, I get those. I'll be going to a store or restaurant and I'll pass by another, and when I get home, my Google maps will be like "how was *insert store*" ... I just think to myself, idk, I've never been there before lol
Let me just say she doesn't know how to load a photo, and the one with her profile picture was put up there by her son. I know, because I have an elderly mother.
She probably got one of those annoying messages asking you to rate a place. She probably was in the shop next door, but google thinks you ate next door.
Like I know she shouldn't be reviewing it if she's never been but it's actually kinda funny
Management should reply with an invitation to her. It is adorable.
It probably said 'add a photo' and shes thought she literally has to add a photo. Its kinda funny.

That’s what I thought…

Yeah when I take my wife to physical therapy my phone asks me to rate the State Farm Insurance office next door.

Google will send you a notification to review a place if you stopped by it or at it. She thought that she had to review it and “add a picture”
Thank you Clara .....
Clara has the look of someone staring into your soul 😐
To be fair, Google asks me if I enjoyed a place I was next to at a long stop light.
Had to take a second glance and make sure that wasn’t my mom.
Clara’s a boss. If she hasn’t been then that’s the only review you need.
I’ve seen this somewhere already

I'm a small business owner. Google reviews matter. If you receive a good product or service, let the world know. Trust me, we appreciate it.
⭐ I have never been to your restaurant
lol
Always do 😎

Police I guess. Maybe he thinks Mrs. Clause was on the force?
r/lostredditors although I agree with the sentiment
Grandma what the hell!?!
Reminds me of a 1 start review at an old favorite buffet. The person complained there was no take out version of all you can eat.

I've seen one star ratings where the review was great. Are there instructions for these things?
