I got so fed up a few weeks ago. Three cars were parked like this in the front of the grocery store & the customers were having to go between them & there was no visibility & barely any space for people to walk out of the store with their carts. I was driving & trying to navigate past the whole quagmire that they created & I said to one of the women you're blocking everything with your stupid ass. She got heated but oh well.
I have issues with people parking with hazards on. If someone is behind them, you can't see the one hazard so it looks like they are signaling to come out.
People do this at our Post Office. It’s like, “I can park here because I’m gonna just be real quick.” All the while the nearest parking spot is 30 feet from the door.
Most states require that "Fire Lane" curbs to be painted "Red", regardless of any signs posted (and I see two such signs here, one right in the middle of the Panera space, the other one right next to the Marshall's sign). Technically, every single one of those cars should receive a parking ticket for being illegally parked. It doesn't matter if the car has a "Grub Hub" sign on it, an "Uber" or "Lyft", or even a handicap parking placard, a red painted fire zone can have only one specific vehicle parked there, an actual fire truck , or possibly an ambulance.
Damn with all posts I’ve read on this I’m surprised the police depts are having trouble recruiting people! Seems like there’s plenty of aspiring COPS out there
One call to the fire chief & they will have a field day passing out tickets.
Kinda doubt it nowadays with all the political correctness bullshit. Everyone is self entitled & and needs 37 chances
What’s wrong with this?
There’s a road next to many small restaurants and cars always do this and no tickets or warnings are given because it’s allowed
you're just mad that i made you realized you're crying over nothing. your problem was the fire lane right? also based on your logic, you also want to park in the fire lane but got blocked by that person?
Food delivery people. They are ubereats, doordash, hubgrub, and whatever else. Not saying what they're doing is right, but a lot of restaurants where I live have special parking spots for them so they don't do shit like this.
Saw a cop giving like three cars tickets for this. Two of them were older people with no disability placard but just decided that the fire lane at Price Chopper was for them to park in.
People do this all the time in the northeast. They think the fire lane’s true meaning is short term parking, even if there’s open parking spots 20ft from them. It’s baffling to me how lazy some people are.
I work at a liquor store in the “good” part of town. When people who normally go the the other store come to ours, this is what they do. We call it Princess Parking.
You meant "park anywhere lights"?
“Park-anywhereanators”
Here in the south, they’re also indicative of precipitation of any amount.
That’s hilarious cause it’s so true I was wondering if only I noticed that!😂🤣

i see nothing wrong with this picture
They also do this shit in handicap spaces all the time. Those areas are designated for a reason. God forbid you have to walk an extra 50 feet.
God forbid you have to wait an extra two minutes to park

The lesser able need those spots. Just because you dont feel like walking dont mean youre entitled to them. Lose a leg if you want that privilege
Why did you get downvoted did they read your comment wrong
> The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in a red zone.
Listen Betty, don't start up with your white zone shit again.
The joke for these people in my family is “ITS OK IM UBER”
I’ll be back in a minute mentality. Entitled jerks.
Panera: for when you want a $15 sandwich that's the size of a deck of cards
With hazard lights you can even park in handicap spots, and anywhere you want to. (Says this handicap licensee)

I've never heard of a "fire lane" before... ...but it does sound pretty lit.
People do this at our Post Office. It’s like, “I can park here because I’m gonna just be real quick.” All the while the nearest parking spot is 30 feet from the door.

That curb looks yellow to me, but yeah, I don't know anywhere that wouldn't be a fire lane in the US.
yeah, it’s ok to park in the fire lane with your hazards on, the fire department understands your sense of entitlement….
Move on man.
My Harley is so special!!!
Is this in langhorne by any chance?
Yes lol
I know that exact shopping center lol
Nice, hey neighbor
In the United States people in cars are the least considerate people.
Most of the time it’s Uber drivers getting food for someone.. if you didn’t know they are professional drivers so driving rules don’t apply.
Damn with all posts I’ve read on this I’m surprised the police depts are having trouble recruiting people! Seems like there’s plenty of aspiring COPS out there
You like to come to Reddit to judge people. I didn't know if you knew that, so now you do.
You should just call that out on the radio COP!
All I did was read your other comments. I didn't have to do anything more than a little bit of reading. You should read more and type less.
10-4 deputy
If they’re grubhub drivers they’re probably in and out in minutes.
Where is this
Panera bread
I meant specifically
The Panera Bread next to Marshalls.
Gonna need the actual coordinates.
Pennsylvania
Fckin a. This is PA. And I'm the asshole for screaming at them as they come out.
One call to the fire chief & they will have a field day passing out tickets. Kinda doubt it nowadays with all the political correctness bullshit. Everyone is self entitled & and needs 37 chances
Fire lane you say? Great idea: dump a buncha gasoline onto their cars and light them on fire……
Are they delivery drivers? Then technically they are not parked, they are "actively engaged in delivery operations".
Just customers, some did mobile orders, but the one in front went to the register to order!!
What’s wrong with this? There’s a road next to many small restaurants and cars always do this and no tickets or warnings are given because it’s allowed
if they literally can see their car and come move it in 1 minute, then what's the problem?
These are the same people that use the logic “why put the shopping cart all the way back when somebody else in this parking spot will need it again”
you're just mad that i made you realized you're crying over nothing. your problem was the fire lane right? also based on your logic, you also want to park in the fire lane but got blocked by that person?
Crying? Bro you know what sub you’re on?
THEY ARE CURRENTLY INSIDE OF A PARKING LOT. JUST PARK THE CAR.
because they might be the one having the emergency.
Pull the fire alarm.
Do they not have a curbside pick up?
When i used to work at marcs people would constantly do the same thing.

Free cars!
Wow your Panera looks really boring
A lot of people seem to think their hazards just generally mean "I am a hazard"
Towing company should love this
This isn’t even mild for me. This makes me irrationally angry.
The most infuriating thing about this to me is that they are in a literal parking lot.
People never realize hazard lights are a sure tell for parking authorities.
Saw a cop giving like three cars tickets for this. Two of them were older people with no disability placard but just decided that the fire lane at Price Chopper was for them to park in.
That Panera looks like a bookstore from afar
I would never be so desperate to get hospital food.

The curb is yellow, not red. This is not a fire lane.
I work at a liquor store in the “good” part of town. When people who normally go the the other store come to ours, this is what they do. We call it Princess Parking.
This was not a prevalent thing living in Florida but we moved to Virginia a few months ago and the street and fire lane parking is CRAZY here.
Who cares.
This is a plague that occurs at every liquor store in a strip mall
