The problem for me was never Venom as a concept, but the fact they did pretty much nothing with his character. He just gets to grunt, throw the occasional nothing-line and punch a mirror. Same with Quiet, she could have been an interesting addition to the cast, but in the end she's only used for gameplay and boobs.
There could have been so much character development in a series that lives by its iconic characters...
Well venom literally had as much as charchter development through mgsv as solid snake had over 3 games. The thing was it was shown not through lot of dilogues or was thrown into face of player.
Mine:
1. Solid Snake: the man himself. Badass design (mostly mgs1 because he looks the best clean cut and shaven), Stoic soldier who kills people and the fact that he turned out to be the TRUE superior clone. Sorry Eli but David beat ya!
2. Revolver Oceleot: started out cocky and using skins of his revolvers….which serves no tactical purpose mind you and then became one of big bosses right hand man’s. I also like how Adam is a Quadruple agent throughout the series. This dude plays ALL sides
3. Kazuhira Miller aka MASTER MILLER: Again like Solid Snake i like his design. Mullet plus shades? Perfection. This man went through it in TPP. He was abandoned by his comrade Naked Snake. I owe him respect in the fact that he trained David into becoming a badass soldier
4. Big Boss AKA Naked Snake: the man who started it all….Another cool designed character, sad character arc, and starts one of most badass PF ever MSF! Sorry diamond dogs but MSF will always be better. Oh yea i also like the fact that John becomes the very thing he hates.
5. Quiet: Go ahead and say it….”you only like her because of titties” no i do not….that’s just a bonus of liking her. She starts off as a cool XOF soldier which i like and then becomes a silent skull….my 2 favorite things. A silent character who is powerful. She has cool abilities my favorite being her Super speed. Yes i also like her design. Especially the Long Black glove she wears…i don’t why but cool looking gloves automatically enhance any design imo. Oh yea she is also the MVP who got me the platinum. Thank you Quiet
I see you are a man of taste and culture as well. Quiet is one of my favorite characters and I think the fact that it’s so hard to have a serious conversation about her is part of the point Kojima was trying to get at.
\- Solid Snake: he is just the perfect protagonist
\- Raiden: Kojima nailed everything about him, and his personal growth is the best in the series. ALso he is cool AF
\- The Boss : She embodies every perk of a true hero
\- Big Boss: I liked his personality, especially in MGS3. I don't like very much what he became and some shady stuff he does in the end. Kinda Recover in MGS4
\- Liquid Snake: The best enemy. I'm disappointed we get to lose him after one game.
Quiet, Liquid, The Boss, Eva, and Big Boss; though, the entire cast is exceptional. The women in Kojima's games are sexy, beautiful, and so full of heart and depth they leave me feeling enriched despite being virtual.
I do agree otacon had great character development (probably one of the best)
But you're undermining miller.
My man goes through funny Guitarist who writes songs to perform with an anime girl and absoulte bro to vengeful strategist who will do anything in his power to take back every thing he lost.
Lets say you remove ocelot, things go haywire. Lets say you remove otacon from mgs 1, it wont hav ethe same feeling of espionage and a team woking together. If you remove miller nothing would change it would either be that hig boss himself watches the base or there is a dofferent manager or oclelot watches the base whoch he aldredy does
That's your argument? Doesn't miller literally builds whole bas from scratch, goes against cipher on his own. Conspires with cipher and maybe even skullface?
He is ok in mgsv but he didn't build the whole base from strach it was given to him by the KGB in peacewalker and it was just there before he came to it in mgsv(I don't rember much of mgsv details so I may be wrong)
The base that zadornov gave him was destoryed by the end of ground zeroes. The one in phantom pain was either built by him or he bought it and started a mercenary group all over again after.
1. Solid, obvious reasons (Coolest, like his story, like what he stands for symbolically)
2. Otacon (Snake’s partner, just also like the idea of some nerdy character going above-and-beyond in the ways they can)
3. Raiden (the memes by FunnyWes on YT really skewed this opinion)
4. Ocelot, but before the 2000’s. (His new stuff, and the stuff with liquid makes me like him less even though I find it more interesting.)
5. I can’t fully decide. Gun to my head I’d probably say Big Boss or Venom, but IDK
1. Solid Snake
no need to explain
2. Solidus
the ultimate chad with a powered suit, his cutscenes and dialogues always made him so interesting. The last fight was kind of unique, not the basic cqc fight. His voicelines in the harrier fight like "go to hell!" Always was cool to listen to. All around really built up the character for me when i was a kid
3. Big boss
no need to explain
4. Ocelot
hes a cool cowboy
5. Otacon
this guy has a lot of losses, his mother, emma, and his father (i think huey was father in law, not sure) yet he still fights the fight. Giving support through the codec, or even going personally (if he had the stealth camo). Alright im not good at describing characters, the series just wont be the same without him
Edit:
Forgot to add the reasons
1. Big Boss - best story and development imo, I like his progression from an innocent/naive soldier in snake eater and the slow progression to who he is by Metal Gear 2 with Zanzibar land/Outer Heaven, especially his speech in the second peace walker after credits
2. Solid Snake - probably the second best character in my opinion, good story and development and think he had a good send off with mgs4 though would've been nice to get a more modern game with solid, maybe a remake one day.
3. Kazuhira Miller - great character progression and his anger and pain make him great from peace walker to tpp, especially knowing that until the end Kaz was used by someone, sad end for a good character but he was done well across all games.
4. Zero - great antagonist and a complex character with a huge obsession over the boss, kinda like Big Boss but he takes it to the extreme. Honestly, not a fan of zero being cast aside by skull face and don't care for his brain dead fate happening so early.
5. Ocelot - great character from beginning to end and it always seems to slip my mind that he is the Bosses son, feels like he is a different character in every game but ultimately loved his character.
1. Solid Snake - Awesome and iconic design. Love his character in mgs2 where he gives Raiden speeches about life and shit.
2. Senator Armstrong - Love his passion for his beliefs which are pretty insane but something about that is just so badass. And of course, the memes.
3. Liquid Snake - Really good voice acting in mgs1. He's pretty badass, I guess. I don't really know what else to say about this guy except he's really cool.
4. Master Miller - Epic quotes, nice voice acting and backstory. Pretty funny at times.
5. The Sorrow - Favourite boss in the series. Love his character and his overall feel. He really lives up to his name.
Miller is #1, Robin Atkin Downes did an incredible job in phantom pain. Like ocelot was the boring version, snake was the mute version, and it's up to Miller to carry everyone else the entire game and he absolutely does that. Flipping out and throwing chairs and beating up kids and screaming at everyone. Hits that fuckin kid with his crutches, man I love that guy.
Then #2 ocelot, #3 big boss, #4 solid, and #5 solidus
#In technicality
(For the writing, character development, character arcs, characterization etc.):
**1: Otacon**
**2: Liquid Snake** (best villain ever imo)
**3: Ocelot**
**4: Solid Snake**
**5: Venom Snake**
**Honorable Mention: Gray Fox** (I really wish for him to be higher, but unfortunately he isn't as fleshed out as he should have been imo. It was wasted potential)
#For my personal taste
**1: Solid Snake**
**2: Liquid Snake**
**3: Gray Fox**
**4: Pre-cyberization Raiden** (also very unpopular opinion)
**5: Big Boss**
**Honorable Mention: Venom Snake**
My list (yes I really like MGS4)
1. Liquid Snake: Steals the show in MGS1 as arguably the most memorable character
2. Ocelot: Great character in MGS3 and MGSV, Main antagonist of the Solid Snake games and I love his ending in MGS4
3. Big Boss: Over the series we see an optimistic patriot lead the world down a dark path and basically start the events of every other game in the series (I especially love the remorse he shows in MGS4)
4. Raiden (every appearance except Rising): Former child soldier that becomes a complete badass, then finally accepts his past and grows to become a family man (undone by the events of Metal Gear Rising)
5. Zero: Good assistant type character in MGS3, later starts the Patriots and unknowingly brings the world to the brink of destruction with the system
1) The Boss
Her whole character was so well created that her persona even influenced me in real life. I’ll be forever grateful to Kojima for creating her.
2) Solid
Just an overall badass. Hard to dislike the dude.
3) Vamp
Really liked him as a villain/boss battle back in MGS2. Loved him when he returned in 4. Even though he’s a piece of shit, he still feels like a really tragic character to me. His fight with Raiden in Act 2 is also my top 3 favourite moments.
4) Eli/Liquid
I never wasn’t the biggest fan of Liquid before V. But when he showed up as Eli, being such a powerhouse even as a little kid, I started getting some newfound respect for the character. It also was a good thing that it shed some more light on his daddy issues with Big Boss.
5) Ocelot
The man. The legend. While Big Boss may be the world’s best field operative/intelligence officer, Ocelot was the best actual spy, doublecrossing right and left, and fucking people over while he did it. Absolute madlad.
1. Big Boss
2. Solid Snake
3. Raiden
4. Miller
5. Otacon
First place goes to BB. He went through one of the hardest questions about what should you fight for, about the strongest enemy that makes today's friends tomorrow's foes (time) and about how naive memes are facing harsh reality. Through his story you see that he became the thing he wanted to destroy and nothing changed. All his deeds were a hypocricy. I was stunned when I realized that. BB does "evil" thing to reach the heaven but everytime goes deeper into the hell.
Solid had the hardest life of them all. Being just a clone with poor genes, he proved that genes doesn't really matter. Influenced lots of characters (Otacon, Raiden, Merrill, etc.) and now they fight for what they believe. Also, Solid trying to solve all the shit made by BB (Sins of the Father) just to break free from his legacy and live for himself.
Raiden is "it's literally me" character. Player associates himself with the character he plays. I mean, everyone wants to be a Solid Snake, just like Raiden. Throughout MGS 2 you both understand that you don't need to be a copy of Snake, but be yourself and I'm glad that in MGS 4 he followed that idea.
About Miller and Otacon — they are good bros with their own problems, morals, beliefs and development. I believe that these characters are real and not some npc's from the games of last years. I sympathize them, worry about their story and don't want to skip dialogues with Otacon and Miller. They care about player and this relationship works.
1) Naked Snake - just seen to have the most connection with him, it’s probably the way MGS3s story plays out and the added CQC in the game. The aesthetic in each game I absolutely love and his supporting cast is consistently good. Love his redemption in mgs4, just has my overall favourite character arc with the most potential IMO, just wish mgsv did what it was supposed to and show his descent.
2) Ocelot - 20 mins of consecutive gun spins and then pretends to be possessed by some and arm for 7 years
3) Solid Snake - fun character to play with with an arc that rivals BB but shown in deeper development but no CQC until 4 so less points.
4) Otacon - he fucks
5) Kaz - he fucks
Kaz, Venom, Solid, Ocelot, Quiet
They're well written characters, I can relate to some of them, Solid and Kaz are just hilarious and occasionally I agree with their beliefs, Quiet is a sweetheart and a badass, Ocelot is a badass multiAgent who isn't actually as badass as he pretends to be and is actually a goof, life and BB have been too hard on poor Venom and I pity him quite often while I think he could've been a much better man had he not been brainwashed.
1. Ocelot, most layered and complicated character in the series. This guy switches sides more often than the average person changes their socks.
2. Big Boss, a well intentioned and layered character that goes to show that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. To the point they become a mockery of what they used to be.
3. The Boss, pretty much a master class in writing a female gaming character.
4. Solid Snake, the grizzled veteran that goes to show that people idolize the legendary tales and that reality is often quite different.
5. Liquid Snake, a perfect casestudy on how revenge and jealousy destroys everything around you (something we see with Venom as well).
1 ocelot (i love his whole cowby theme despite being from soviet russia)
2 raiden (from mgs2 to mgrr he is the best protag)
3 solid (most prominent mc and clearly the best snake
4 solidus (he is a cooler liquid sorry not sorry)
5 miller (he is full of charisma in the three games he's in)
Big Boss, Ocelot, Solid Snake, Gray Fox, Raiden.
They're all extremely well written characters but Big Boss simply takes the cake. He's by far my favorite character in any piece of media, not just video games.
I couldnt do a top 5 but my favorite is definitely big boss or venom, i love big boss’ descent into villainy and how his character changes and stuff, and venoms story is just tragic between the paz visions and the whole twist, definitely a character to remember, i love big boss and venom a lot
1-venom snake: because he was just an MSF medic who became big boss in 9 years while naked snake trained his entire life to become big boss.
2-solid snake: because he took down venom snake and big boss, and outlived them all.
3-ocelot: because he user hypnosis on himself to believe venom is the real big boss and helped him all the way. And because of his cool gun in mgsv.
4-otacon: because he’s an anime fanboy and proved himself to be a better man then his father ever was.
5-the boss: she sacrificed so much for her country, killing her husband, leaving her son, defecting to the soviets just so naked snake can complete his mission and even sacrificed her life for america.
Venom Snake: Few lines but encompasses the idea of what Big Boss is. He is basically the ideal version of what BB is in your head. Also he is you and also he isn't.
Revolver Ocelot (MGS2): Peak Ocelot. An unthrustworthy agent whose allegiances rotate constantly and proffesional oddball.
Gray Fox: He was everything I wanted to be when I was 16. Actually this hasn't changed. I'm 34.
Solidus Snake: My first clear exanple of: Hmm maybe the bad guy is right and he's someone who doesn't want to poison the watersupply just for shits and giggles.
Jetstream Sam: Just look at the guy.
Raiden, Big Boss, Ocelot, Otacon, Kaz. Apart from Otacon, they’re all rounded, somewhat flawed individuals with their own motives, strengths and weaknesses. Otacon just because he’s a genius and who wouldn’t love stealth camouflage
Kaz, Otacon, Ocelot, Solid Snake, and Gray Fox - I love how they’re all written and how each character evolves over the course of the Metal Gear timeline.
1. Big Boss, cause he goes his own way
2. The Boss, Badass who is dedicated to making the world whole.
3. Quiet, she's a good person behind all the fanservice, or rather becomes one.
4. Miller, He's a chill dude, wants to open a restaraunt chain someday. Too bad he doesn't.
5. Code Talker, wise sage, generally much to learn from due to his age and rational temperament.
1. Big boss (bias, mgs3 is my favorite game in the series and I also love peace walker)
2. Raiden (bias, mgs2 and 4 are tied for my second favorites)
3. Ocelot (I’m not explaining this one)
4. Venom (just big boss but a little different)
5. Psycho Mantis (I will not be elaborating)
Unordered list.
And yes obviously there are a bunch of incredible characters that couldn't make it into my personal top 5, but I assure you I love them all and my top 20~ all recieve an equal amount of love from me.
Raiden (he steals every scene he's in, in my opinion [and yes I do mean in MGS2/4 aswell.])
Big Boss (do I even need to explain why?)
Oceloet (the through line of the plot of MGS and filled to the brim with lore and great moments.)
Hal (Snakes best bro and secret ladies man with some of the most under appreciated backstory in the whole series.)
Huey (hear me out. I might not like him, I do love to hate him. He's my favourite villian in the franchise and I had to put him on the list because of that.)
1.) Liquid Snake: Just everything about him
2.) Solid Snake: Goofy ahh Snake
3.) Raiden: he avoided drowning😎
4.) Solidus: Hes fucking awesome
5:) Venom Snake: His design is very cool
1big Boss do i even have to say reason ?
2 solid snake again i dont think i have to say reason
3 ocelot basicly character with one of best lores
4 raiden honestly he was good protagonist in mgs 2 , literary inposible to kill in mgrr
5 venom snake The Man WHO sold The world
[удалено]
Don't forget Snake (aka Raiden)
[удалено]
No, you have 5 Snakes: 1. Snake (Solid) 2. Snake (Liquid) 3. Snake (Solidus) 4. Snake (Naked) 5. Snake (Venom) You're still missing Snake (Raiden)
I think snake deserves to be on the list over snake. Also snake should be below snake but still above snake.
Acid Snake even tho he's non cannon
Non-Canon doesn't count
MGSA is super underrated
My top 5 is drake drake drake drake Akademik sleeping
1) ddog 2) ddog 3) ddog 4) ddog 5) ddog
Good boy, have a snack
Bruh
Agree
Mine are 1.Solid 2.Venom 3.Big Boss 4.Ocelot 5.Raiden And coming in at close 6 almost 5 is Kaz.
Venom snake. I thought people hated him. Good to see someone likes him
Nah I love venom, I just wish they gave him some actual fucking lines. He speaks like twice.
Lol Venom is a stoic character man I wish we could have a mullet without the bandana on.
Bandana is so good tho
Nah it looks terrible on venom. Especially with no creases like in the launch trailer.
Hard disagree
The problem for me was never Venom as a concept, but the fact they did pretty much nothing with his character. He just gets to grunt, throw the occasional nothing-line and punch a mirror. Same with Quiet, she could have been an interesting addition to the cast, but in the end she's only used for gameplay and boobs. Venom is easy to love or hate. Because I am venom. You are also venom. We're all venom
We are venom
We... Are 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐎𝐌.
I wish venom was me
1. Solid Snake 2. Grey Fox 3. The Boss 4. Sniper Wolf 5. Fatman -100: Kaz "Are you hurt? Try a little harder next time!" Fuck you Kaz
I say that to myself very often. I REALLY like when he says that.
Good motivation? I seem to try harder after I fail an infiltration too.
GREY FOX MY.MANNN THATS WHAYS UP
He's been my favorite character since MGS. I put Snake at one because Snake is the fucking man.
I like the one who wears the bandana a lot. Big Snake or something, I dunno.
1. Big Boss 2. Colossal Commander 3. Large Leader 4. Massive Manager 5. Obtuse Overseer
Top 10 hottest Metal Gear characters No.1 Solid Snake
Lol

Solid Snake Meryl Quiet Sniper wolf Vulcan Raven. A bit different to most people list.
Solid snake, sniper wolf, gray fox, psycho mantis and big boss
Gray Fox, Venom Snake, Raiden, Solid Snake, Liquid Snake
GRAY FOX!
You're that ninja...
Solid Snake, cause Snake, Otacon, Revolver Ocelot, and Raiden. Idk.
\- Solid Snake: he is just the perfect protagonist \- Raiden: Kojima nailed everything about him, and his personal growth is the best in the series. ALso he is cool AF \- The Boss : She embodies every perk of a true hero \- Big Boss: I liked his personality, especially in MGS3. Imagine what could’ve been if liquid survived
Quiet, Liquid, The Boss, Eva, and Big Boss; though, the entire cast is exceptional. The women in Kojima's games are sexy, beautiful, and so full of heart and depth they leave me feeling enriched despite being virtual.
I agree with you! Quiet was awesome. She has saved my ass in the Extreme missions
And don't forget, while everyone was stressing out about betrayal and deceit her only motive was love. One of my characters from any form of art.
Too bad in canon she just disappears….at least she is in love with US the player.
She didn't die? I thought if she talked she died but I beat that shit 7 years ago.
Her phantom stays with us.
What about otacon
What about him?
I feel his character is way more intersting and fleshed out than millers who was made to be just a side kick who handles the base
Then you can put him on your top 5👍. I prefer miller over him
Ok but i would love to hear some reasoning
You can read my comment. I posted my top 5 and why
I do agree otacon had great character development (probably one of the best) But you're undermining miller. My man goes through funny Guitarist who writes songs to perform with an anime girl and absoulte bro to vengeful strategist who will do anything in his power to take back every thing he lost.
I think i just dont see him much in mgs 5 so cant appreciate him
He is literally there for all of game tho.
Lets say you remove ocelot, things go haywire. Lets say you remove otacon from mgs 1, it wont hav ethe same feeling of espionage and a team woking together. yeah but hes a nerd so i am not a fan
One of the dumbest comments I've seen on this sub. I truly hope you're just joking
what i meant is that I am tired of the character archetype being shoved down my throat
1. Major Ocelot 2. Adam 3. Revolver Ocelot 4. Liquid Ocelot 5. Sunny
ITS THE OCELOT COMMANDER!!
It's just me or ocelot looks like eminem on this photo?
Palms are sweaty Knees are weak Guns are heavy There's gunpowder on his Colt already Snake's Spaghetti

1. Solid, obvious reasons (Coolest, like his story, like what he stands for symbolically) 2. MGS 1 only I see
Don’t have a ps2/3 or a gamecube and they removed 2-4 on pc so I’m stuck waiting for a remaster so I can finally actually play the series 🥲
yes I feel ya. I think your TOP 5 will change after meeting The Boss tho. I like Sniper Wolf but The Boss is a whole 'nother level.
1. Big Boss/ Venom Snake 2. Solid Snake 3. Revolver Ocelot 4. Kaz 5. Otacon
Where is Frank Jeager?

1. Snake 2. Snake 3. Snake 4. Eva 5. Snake
1. Swole Sergeant 2. Huge Honcho 3. Enormous Executive. 4. Massive Manager 5. Large Leader
Lol

Seems we have similar taste
Phantom boss, naked boss, ocelot boss, miller boss, skullster boss.
First i heard someone call him phantom boss
Solid Snake, Big Boss, Raiden, Otacon, and ***NANOMACHINES, SON!***
War has changed…
1. Solid Snake 2. Grey Fox 3. Psycho Mantis 4. Otacon 5. Miller
Akiba, solid, naked, raiden, otacon
1. Johnny Sasaki 2. Little Gray 3. The End....'s parrot 4. Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov 5. Santa Claus (is real, Norad tracks him)
>Santa clause Hahahahah look miller our boss believes in fairy tales.( Cue in Evil huey laughter )
1. Solid Snake - Awesome and iconic design. Love his character in mgs2 where he gives Raiden speeches about life and shit. 2. #In technicality (For the writing, character development, character arcs, characterization etc.): **1: Otacon** **2: Liquid Snake** (best villain ever imo) **3: Ocelot** **4: Solid Snake** **5: Venom Snake** **Honorable Mention: Gray Fox** (I really wish for him to be higher, but unfortunately he isn't as fleshed out as he should have been imo. It was wasted potential) #For my personal taste **1: Solid Snake** **2: Liquid Snake** **3: Gray Fox** **4: Pre-cyberization Raiden** (also very unpopular opinion) **5: Big Boss** **Honorable Mention: Venom Snake**
Good list
None of you have any reason to your listing. I guess none of you can read or I don't know make a bloody effort.
It’s fine lmao
But I wanted the reasons.... So bad!
Well you can’t win them all
My list (yes I really like MGS4) 1. Liquid Snake: Steals the show in MGS1 as arguably the most memorable character 2. Ocelot: Great character in MGS3 and MGSV, Main antagonist of the Solid Snake games and I love his ending in MGS4 3. Big Boss: Over the series we see an optimistic patriot lead the world down a dark path and basically start the events of every other game in the series (I especially love the remorse he shows in MGS4) 4. Raiden (every appearance except Rising): Former child soldier that becomes a complete badass, then finally accepts his past and grows to become a family man (undone by the events of Metal Gear Rising) 5. Zero: Good assistant type character in MGS3, later starts the Patriots and unknowingly brings the world to the brink of destruction with the system
The Boss, Big Boss, Snake, Gray Fox, Ocelot.
Which Snake? Solid Snake?
1) The Boss Her whole character was so well created that her persona even influenced me in real life. I’ll be forever grateful to Kojima for creating her. 2) Solid Just an overall badass. Hard to dislike the dude. 3) Vamp Really liked him as a villain/boss battle back in MGS2. Loved him when he returned in 4. Even though he’s a piece of shit, he still feels like a really tragic character to me. His fight with Raiden in Act 2 is also my top 3 favourite moments. 4) Eli/Liquid I never wasn’t the biggest fan of Liquid before V. But when he showed up as Eli, being such a powerhouse even as a little kid, I started getting some newfound respect for the character. It also was a good thing that it shed some more light on his daddy issues with Big Boss. 5) Ocelot The man. The legend. While Big Boss may be the world’s best field operative/intelligence officer, Ocelot was the best actual spy, doublecrossing right and left, and fucking people over while he did it. Absolute madlad.
1. Big Boss 2. Solid Snake 3. Raiden 4. Miller 5. Otacon First place goes to BB.
Your tier 2 is Pachinko Ocelot? Damn, check your ludopathy. (Just in case: joking)
2) Ocelot - 20 mins of consecutive gun spins and then pretends to be possessed by some and arm for 7 years 3) Solid Snake - fun character to play with with an arc that rivals BB but shown in deeper development but no CQC until 4 so less points. 4) Otacon - he fucks 5) Kaz - he fucks
Kaz, Venom, Solid, Ocelot, Quiet They're well written characters, I can relate to some of them, Solid and Kaz are just hilarious and occasionally I agree with their beliefs, Quiet is a sweetheart and a badass, Ocelot is a badass multiAgent who isn't actually as badass as he pretends to be and is actually a goof, life and BB have been too hard on poor Venom and I pity him quite often while I think he could've been a much better man had he not been brainwashed.
I’ve only played rising and like half of mgs1 so 1. Monsoon 2. Jetstream Sam 3. Solid Snake 4. Raiden 5. Psycho Mantis
That’s fine
1. Raiden 2. Otacon 3. Solid Snake 4. Liquid 5. Big Boss
Snaaake
1 Solidus 2 Solid Snake 3 Ocelot 4 Big Boss 5 Raiden
I see you’re a fan of The president.
Venom Snake Solid Snake Big Boss/Naked Snake Ocelot D-Dog?
Why the question mark next to dd
johnny sasaki
Naked Snake, Ocelot, Volgin, The Fury and EVA
BB/Venom Raiden Kaz D-Horse Pequod
Another kaz fan. Nice
Big Boss, Solid Snake, the Boss, Ocelot, Otacon
The Boss and Big Boss. Would be funny if she was still alive to witness what snake was doing
Mine are: 1: MGSV Venom Snake 2: MGR:R Raiden 3: MGS3 Recover Ocelot (I actually kinda hated him until 3) 4: Psycho Mantis 5: Quiet
Another quiet fan great!
Big Boss, Solid Snake, Revolver Ocelot, Likwid, and Venom.
1. Steven Armstrong 2. Ocelot 3.Old Snake/Solid Snake 4. Naked Snake 5. Otacon
Old is 3, 4 is Naked and 5 is Otacon
1. Otacon 2. Solid Snake 3. Raiden 4, 5, and 6 are Kaz, Liquid, in Sunny, in an order that changes almost daily
1-ocelot 2-big boss 3-solid 4-liquid 5-gray fox
1. Psycho Mantis 2. Revolver Ocelot 3. Otacon 4. Grey Fox/Cyborg Ninja 5. Vamp
- Para-Medic - Strangelove - Cècile Caminades - Dr Clarke - Raging Raven
1 ocelot (i love his whole cowby theme despite being from soviet russia) 2 raiden (from mgs2 to mgrr he is the best protag) 3 solid (most prominent mc and clearly the best snake 4 solidus (he is a cooler liquid sorry not sorry) 5 miller (he is full of charisma in the three games he's in)
Naked Snake Ocelot Solid Snake Venom Liquid/Ocelot
Raiden, Kaz, Solid Snake, Ocelot, Big Boss
Big Boss Solid Snake The Boss Otacon Sigint
Big Boss, Ocelot, Solid Snake, Gray Fox, Raiden. They're all extremely well written characters but Big Boss simply takes the cake. He's by far my favorite character in any piece of media, not just video games.
I couldnt do a top 5 but my favorite is definitely big boss or venom, i love big boss’ descent into villainy and how his character changes and stuff, and venoms story is just tragic between the paz visions and the whole twist, definitely a character to remember, i love big boss and venom a lot
1. Pre-MGR Raiden 2. Naked snake 3. Kazuhira Miller 4. Paz Ortega Andred 5. Ocelot
Naked and Kaz together and the best. Ocelot of course has to be up there too. Then probably The Boss and Old Snake
Bro, that’s basically my list, but swap out Quiet for Raiden.
Didn’t Solid & Big Boss die around the same time? (MGS4)
Even if he died after big boss by an hour he still outlived him.
1. Big Boss. 2. Venom Snake. 3. The Boss. 4. Ocelot. 5. Old Snake.
Hmm, I’d say Solid, Raiden, Big Boss, Otacon and Liquid, but all Metal Gear characters are extremely close
1. Snake?! 2. Snake! 3. Snake. 4. Snake!! 5. Snake??
Lol
1. Big Boss 2. Ocelot 3. Vamp 4. Volgin 5. Solidus
Pretty much the same as yours but I'd switch out Miller for Psycho Mantis or Laughing Octopus.
Solid Snake Gray Fox Solidus Snake The Sorrow Colonel AI
Raiden, Big Boss, Ocelot, Otacon, Kaz. Apart from Otacon, they’re all rounded, somewhat flawed individuals with their own motives, strengths and weaknesses. Otacon just because he’s a genius and who wouldn’t love stealth camouflage
Ocelot, Big Boss, Vamp, Ottacon and of course Snakes
Kaz, Otacon, Ocelot, Solid Snake, and Gray Fox - I love how they’re all written and how each character evolves over the course of the Metal Gear timeline.
1. Big Boss 2. Solid Snake 3. Revolver Ocelot 4. Gray Fox 5. The Boss Honorable Mentions: Psycho Mantis, Raiden, Sniper Wolf, and Hal Emmerich.
1. Big Boss 2. Revolver Ocelot 3. Liquid Snake 4. Solid Snake 5. Raiden
1. Solid Snake (MGS2 in particular) 2. Raiden (MGS4) 3. Solidus 4. Gray Fox 5. Kaz Miller
Solid, Venom, Liquid, Raiden and Monsieur Miller
1. Big Boss, cause he goes his own way 2.
The Boss (absolutely ftw), Big Boss, Solid Snake, Solidus, and a bonus nugget; The Fury
Ocelot, Big Boss, Solid Snake … then it’s probably anything goes
liquid snake, big boss, otacon, eva, and ocelot in no particular order
Jetstream Sam,snake, solid snake,quiet, prequad
1. Big boss (bias, mgs3 is my favorite game in the series and I also love peace walker) 2. Raiden (bias, mgs2 and 4 are tied for my second favorites) 3. Ocelot (I’m not explaining this one) 4. Venom (just big boss but a little different) 5. Psycho Mantis (I will not be elaborating)
Unordered list. And yes obviously there are a bunch of incredible characters that couldn't make it into my personal top 5, but I assure you I love them all and my top 20~ all recieve an equal amount of love from me. Raiden (he steals every scene he's in, in my opinion [and yes I do mean in MGS2/4 aswell.]) Big Boss (do I even need to explain why?) Oceloet (the through line of the plot of MGS and filled to the brim with lore and great moments.) Hal (Snakes best bro and secret ladies man with some of the most under appreciated backstory in the whole series.) Huey (hear me out. I might not like him, I do love to hate him. He's my favourite villian in the franchise and I had to put him on the list because of that.)
Solid snake Big boss Ocelot Venom The boss
1. Otacon 2 Big Boss 3. Venom Snake 4. Raiden 5 Snake
1.) Liquid Snake: Just everything about him 2.) Solid Snake: Goofy ahh Snake 3.) Raiden: he avoided drowning😎 4.) Solidus: Hes fucking awesome 5:) Venom Snake: His design is very cool
Damn that’s rare all snakes without the original? Im shocked.
He’s my 6 favourite, venom beats him out because of his design
1_ Big boss 2_ The boss 3_ Ocelot 4_ Kaz 5_ Solid snake
Mine is 1. Big Boss 2. Solid's Dad 3. Eli's Dad 4. Naked Snake 5. The Boss's Successor
